Chapter 45 Teacher Eve
Klein opened the door and looked inside carefully. There was no one there.

Good, Benson wasn't back yet, and Melissa still had a long time until school was over.

Despite feeling like he was being watched, Klein walked into his room as if nothing had happened. He sat at the desk, pretending to read, but in reality, he silently recited Eve's name in his heart.

"The embodiment of disaster, the ruler of the mirror world, the symbol of joy and pain. That stalker is still here, are we still going to class?"

"Yes, wait a moment. I'll come find you after get off work," Eve replied. "I have classes after work, eh."

Going to work? Is that the kind of work I'm thinking of? Angels have to go to work too?
No, no, Klein held his forehead with one hand and denied his previous thoughts. Angels are all high-ranking officials in the church. My sister's job should be...

An image popped up in Klein's mind: Eve sat cross-legged in a high-back chair, documents in hand, giving instructions. Both sides of the long table were filled with people listening to her instructions.

cool!
It’s much more grand than my own Gray Fog Party. After all, he is a real big shot.

Eve had no idea what was going on in Klein's mind. He bent over the desk and finally finished the press release. He stretched himself, and although his eyes weren't sore, he rubbed them out of habit.

Next I will go to teach Zhou Mingrui.

Eve entered the mirror world and came to the dressing mirror in Klein's room.

Looking at the thin figure leaning over the table reading a book, Eve reached out and pulled him into the dressing mirror.

Klein seemed startled by this sudden shift in consciousness. His body tensed up, and he immediately reached under his armpit to grasp the revolver. He relaxed only after seeing that it was Eve.

Klein looked around. It was exactly the same as his small room. If the furniture wasn't arranged in the opposite direction, he would have suspected that the feeling of movement was just an illusion.

In the opposite direction?

Klein looked at the full-length mirror. The cracked mirror reflected everything in the room.

Bunk beds, a desk, and myself reading...

Me reading!

The person in the dressing mirror was sitting at the desk reading, but now he was clearly sitting on a chair looking around!

"That's Klein in the mirror," Eve said, pointing to the dressing mirror. "We're in the mirror world now. This is the reflection of your room."

"Klein in the mirror?" Klein turned around to look at that "self" and asked curiously, "Then is there someone in the mirror... uh..."

Klein suddenly remembered an embarrassing thing. He didn't know his sister's name. Eve didn't tell him last night, and he forgot to ask. He also didn't have the ability to divine it directly like Eve did.

"Eve." Eve said.

Eve, it seems like my sister and Emperor Russell are old acquaintances. That's right, as fellow travelers, of course I'd go see my fellow countrymen. And Russell, with his "I'm a traveler" written all over his face, is so easy to find. He doesn't even need to use secret codes with other travelers.

Klein wanted to ask Eve if she had Russell's diary, but then he heard her say, "Of course not."

Although he knew it wasn't referring to Russell's diary, Klein remained silent for a moment. The timing was so coincidental that he suspected Eve had cheated using her Beyonder ability.

Klein silently swallowed the question and asked, "Why?"

"That's a good question," Eve gave Klein a thumbs-up. "Let's start today's lesson with this, Mr. Klein."

Eve walked over to Klein and grasped his shoulders, pushing him back as he tried to offer his seat. She placed her hands behind her back, gripping the edge of the desk. She leaned her waist against the back of her hands, leaning her upper body slightly back. She looked down at Klein, her beautiful eyes brimming with smiles as she said, "As for the reason, let's talk about the one most relevant to today's lesson: 'Uniqueness.'"

"Uniqueness?" Klein picked up his pen and notebook, turned to a blank page, and wrote "Uniqueness" on the paper.

"Uniqueness has no concrete image. It is a conceptual existence that symbolizes the oneness of the true God. All existence involving uniqueness cannot be replicated." After saying this, Eve paused and waited for Klein to take notes.

"True God?" Klein paused and asked in surprise, "Aren't you an angel?"

"Accommodating uniqueness is a necessary condition for becoming a god," Eve said, lifting her waist and freeing her hand from beneath her. She squeezed her palm and stood up straight. "Advancing from Sequence One to Sequence Zero also requires a potion, and uniqueness is one of the ingredients in that potion."

"You drank the Sequence Zero potion," Klein's eyes widened slightly. "Doesn't that make you a true god?"

"I did drink the potion, but I didn't finish it," Eve said, leaning against the desk with both hands, half-sitting on the corner. "The promotion from Sequence Zero is very different from other Sequence promotions. You don't have to drink the potion all at once, and Beyonders must complete the promotion ceremony after reaching Sequence Five. However, you can complete the promotion ceremony later when you advance from Sequence One to Sequence Zero."

Eve suddenly lowered her voice and said to Klein mysteriously, "Do you want to know the formula for the Sequence Zero potion?"

Klein's heart stirred after hearing this. Although this seemed far-fetched, it piqued his curiosity. "Do you know about Beyonder characteristics?" Eve smiled. Instead of revealing the formula for Sequence Zero, she posed a new question. Before Klein could answer, she continued, "The Beyonder power within a deceased Beyonder doesn't disappear. Instead, it condenses into a crystalline substance and precipitates out of the body. That's the Beyonder characteristic. Beyonder characteristics can be used as the main ingredient in potions, and they are conserved."

"Isn't that just... cannibalism?" Klein's pupils constricted, his voice trembling slightly. "Wait! Could the Sequence Zero potion be the Sequence Zero Beyonder characteristic and uniqueness?"

"That's half right," Eve said with a smile, "It does have Beyonder characteristics and uniqueness, but it's not the Sequence Zero Beyonder characteristic, it's the Sequence One Beyonder characteristic. The ingredients for the Sequence Zero potion are uniqueness and three copies of the Sequence One Beyonder characteristic."

"Three copies?" Klein was a little confused. Three copies? Why three copies? Was there any special meaning?

He looked at Eve, but saw that she was looking at him with a smile, with no intention of explaining.

Klein lowered his head and began to think.

Three servings...

No matter how unreliable his sister was, she wouldn't leave him guessing without some clues. Klein recalled Eve's words and immediately found the abruptly added last part: "Extraordinary characteristics are conserved."

Since extraordinary characteristics are conserved, the total amount should remain unchanged!

There is only one true God, and there can only be one, but there can only be three Sequence Ones?

"Only three copies of Sequence One?" Klein asked tentatively.

"Smart, worthy of being my brother!" Eve snapped her fingers. "So generally speaking, when there are Sequence Ones, there are no True Gods, and when there are True Gods, there are no Sequence Ones."

"What about the unusual ones?"

"We'll talk about the unusual things later," Eve said. "Your brother and sister will be back soon. We have to catch up on our classes and check your homework later."

"When did I get homework?" Klein protested hastily. He went over last night's experience in his mind but couldn't find any homework.

"A honorific name," Eve said confidently, "Didn't I ask you to think of one? You didn't think of one, did you?"

Klein recalled it and realized that this was indeed the case. He felt a little guilty, but when he thought about how he had already completed his "homework", he realized there was nothing to feel guilty about, so he put the guilt aside.

"I've thought about it. I can check it for you right now." Klein wrote furiously in his notebook, then closed the pen cap and handed it over.

Eve took the notebook he handed her and glanced at it. The elegant black handwriting on the white paper was very eye-catching.

"The fool who does not belong to this era,
The mysterious ruler above the gray fog,
The King of Yellow and Black who controls good luck. "

It is a standard three-part honorific name for a deity.

Eve raised her eyebrows and said teasingly, "Three-part honorific name, you really want to pretend to be an evil god."

"What's wrong?" Klein asked in confusion. His honorific name was inspired by the Goddess of Night and Eve.

"Nothing," Eve returned the notebook. "Three-part honorific names are generally used by gods and angels, but other sequences can also be used through borrowing."

"Should I make some changes?" Klein said, clutching his notebook.

"No need," Eve said with a smile, "This will confuse those guys a bit."

"Those guys?" Klein asked curiously, "Who are they? Your enemies?"

Eve looked at Klein and said quietly, "Perhaps we will be enemies in the future."

future?

Klein wanted to ask more, but Eve covered his mouth with her hand. "If you ask again, you won't be able to attend the class. Put aside your curiosity for now. You'll find out later."

Klein nodded and blinked his brown eyes, trying hard to appear sincere.

Eve let go of Klein's mouth and continued her lecture. Although she was delayed for a while, she finished explaining the three laws of Beyonder characteristics just a few seconds before Benson walked in.

"Okay, I'm going back now," Eve said, waving her hand. "See you tomorrow. Remember to let me know when you move."

"Wait," Klein called out to Eve. After hesitating for a moment, he finally made up his mind. He looked into Eve's eyes and said seriously, "Why don't you stay for dinner? It's a good opportunity to meet them too."
