Chapter 15: Uther the Simple One

"Where are Elena's things?"

Karen's first question left Lyle Cremona stunned for a moment.

“It’s all put away.”

Although he didn't know why Karen asked this, Lyle still answered honestly that the camp was currently in a period of supply shortage, and no matter whether Sister Elena would come back or not, her things would definitely not be thrown away.

"Very good, go get some clothes."

Karen nodded. This was exactly what he expected. He just disappeared yesterday, so how could he throw away all the other person's things today?

"Forehead"

"Yes, I'll go right away."

Lyle's computer froze for a moment, and he felt like something was broken in his heart, but he reacted quickly, adjusted his mentality, and ran out.

"puff!"

Karen spat out Elena and then transformed into human form again.

"Cough cough cough."

Clearing his throat, Karen felt that he should use this trick less often in the future, as it was not meant for people.

Elena woke up quickly. After seeing where she was, she looked dazed for a moment and realized that she was back in the camp.

She didn't have much worries in her heart. First, her identity had changed. Second, the vampires needed humans to exist after all, so the harm that the vampires posed to humans was not that great.

This is a recognized fact. Although vampires are ranked at the top of the list in terms of the danger of evil species, they are definitely not the kind of evil species that will destroy a town at will and commit large-scale killings. Most of them just suck blood and sometimes they will not even kill the target of their blood.

After taking a look at Karen, Elena stood aside obediently. Her "father" was very cold and had only spoken a few words to her. He gave her orders through the blood connection, which made her dare not refuse from the bottom of her soul.

"Dang Dang Dang."

After a while, there was a knock on the door of the room, and Lyle Cremona came back with some clothes and some miscellaneous things.

He went back and forth very quickly, fearing that he would be discovered. After arriving at the warehouse, he said he wanted to take something else, and then secretly mixed in a few of Elena's clothes.

Lyle felt miserable. In the middle of the night, he ran to the warehouse to get Sister Elena's clothes. If he was seen by others, he would be dead.

Karen opened the door, took some clothes, and then closed the door, leaving Lyle Cremona alone and disheveled in the wind.

But Lyle felt okay now. At least now that he no longer had those pieces of clothing in his hands, his psychological pressure was greatly relieved.

"Go and call your father."

A voice came from inside the house, and this made Lyle Cremona perk up.

"Here it comes! The showdown is finally here!"
Lyle Cremona was excited. After what happened today, he felt that this moment would happen sooner or later. Finally, the adults were going to officially take over the Cremona camp!
Lyle ran away excitedly to find his father, Uther Cremona, to tell him the "good news".

In the room, Karen watched Elena change into new clothes. Lyle Cremona was also very good at taking care of things. She took out a set of Silver Moon Goddess nun's clothes. The color of this nun's clothes was black, and it fit the body very well, and there was a high slit on the thigh.

The design of this nun's uniform is obviously unconventional. Most nun's uniforms are as conservative as those of the Church of the Dawn. Only some nuns from the evil camp and the chaotic camp would be so unrestrained. Although the Silver Moon Goddess has defected to the Lord of Dawn, her style does not seem to have changed completely.

Karen was very satisfied with the clothes. Elena, with blood still on the corner of her mouth, looked really unique in this nun's clothes.

The most important thing is that this outfit is very similar to the Sisters of the Dark Night in the past. The nuns who served the Lady of the Dark Night wore black clothes.

"Knock, knock, knock." When Karen was reminiscing about the glorious past, the door was knocked again and Lyle Cremona's voice came.

"Sir, I have brought the person with me."

There was a hint of excitement in Lyle Cremona's voice. Although Uther didn't understand what Lyle said, he still felt the excitement while standing next to Lyle.

The middle-aged knight, who had just turned forty, twitched his lips and forced himself to suppress the intention of teaching the brat a lesson.

"Please come in."

There was a sound from inside the door, and then the door was opened. It was Elena who opened the door.

"Uh? Sister Elena?"

When Usher Cremona saw the person who opened the door, he couldn't help but be stunned. He almost didn't recognize Elena, who was wearing a black nun's uniform and had changed hair color. What happened?
"Mr. Uther."

Elena greeted Uther politely. After all, Uther did save her when she was shipwrecked.

Uther smiled bitterly. What sin had his camp committed?

Entering the room and seeing the figure that had been bothering him all day, Uther took a deep breath and then simply bowed to Karen.

"Sir, thank you for your assistance. The Morekna family and the four hundred and twenty-one people in the camp are willing to serve you."

Uther spoke bluntly, which made Lyle's mouth drop open. "No? Who are you? Get off my father!"

"What did your dad say?"

Karen looked at Lyle and frowned. Why was this guy so unconscious? Couldn't he take the initiative to be a translator?
"Uh, he said"

Lyle hesitated for a moment, and finally repeated his father's words. He didn't have the courage to fool the vampire in front of him. He and this vampire were not on the same level at all.

"That's pretty straightforward."

Karen looked at Uther Cremona with admiration. He was a man who knew the current situation and could clearly see the strength of the situation.

"Tell him that his position and life are saved."

Karen's answer was equally straightforward. After seeing Uther's performance today, Karen had already made this decision. As long as Uther knew what was good for him, Karen would not touch him.

"."

Lyle opened his mouth. He felt that the plot was going in the wrong direction. He didn't want his father to die, but shouldn't he let his father hand over the power of the camp to him?
Although he was confused, Lyle still had his wits about him and knew he had no right to talk nonsense, so he could only continue to perform his duties as an interpreter.

On the bright side, he is now the truly indispensable character.

After hearing the answer relayed by Lyle, Uther finally felt relieved. He knew that he had chosen the only correct answer.

"What do you need me to do, my Lord?"

Uther continued to ask. He knew that the other party would definitely have requests, so he might as well be proactive, at least to create a good impression.

"Collect blood, human blood, the more the better."

Karen said it very directly. He collected blood not just to drink it, but to build the core of a blood castle.

The Blood Castle is as important to a vampire as the Mage's Tower is to a mage.
