Chapter 605: The Great Emperor of the East

Chapter 605: The Great Emperor of the East (Part )
Chengde, Mulan Paddock, Saihanba.

Saihanba at this time is different from that in later generations. It has a large area of dense primeval forest, unlike the later generations with only small earthen mounds and a few water bubbles on the grassland.

It turns out that during the Qing Dynasty, as a royal garden, Mulan Weichang was always occupied by soldiers and officials.

Later, during the Daoguang period, because the Mongols in the surrounding pastures were really poor and the Qing court was also gradually impoverished, it was unable to maintain such a grand ceremony in Mulan Hunting Ground, so the ban on hunting was lifted.

The complete withdrawal of troops from Weichang was almost approaching the Xinhai Revolution.

After the troops in Weichang were completely withdrawn, this piece of primeval forest, which had been completely preserved by humans, was quickly cut down and all the wild animals were hunted to death.

Of course, this was only the 49th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign in history, and the original forest of Saihanba still existed.

Therefore, the scenery is extremely beautiful, with forests, grasslands, hills, lakes, and canyons. It has a very primitive appearance and is very popular.

At this time, those who were responsible for the work in the enclosure were basically bannermen.

Mo Zibu established the Mulan Weichang Animal Husbandry Branch of Fuxing Company here and settled more than 40,000 bannermen here.

They were asked to maintain the enclosure and palace facilities for Mozibu, preserve the wild animal population, carefully raise the mixed-breed Scottish Fold horses and Arabian horses that Mozibu brought from India, serve as servants, etc.

This... No wonder many people began to regard Fuxing Company as Shaofu, and some people even wrote directly to the emperor, requesting that Fuxing Company be renamed Shaofu and the president of Fuxing Company be renamed Shaofu Supervisor.

Humph, Mo Zibu would not be fooled by them. They don’t just want to change the name, someone wants to become the Minister of the Imperial Household Department.

Moreover, the Shaofu was needed during the Qin and Han dynasties because the handicraft industry was extremely underdeveloped at that time and could not meet the needs of the royal family. Therefore, it was necessary to set up a Shaofu and produce by themselves.

But now there is no need for it at all. Even without Fuxing Company, the various commodities on the market can fully meet the needs.

Mo Zi set up the Fuxing Company in order to concentrate his efforts on major tasks. After making money in certain industries that require state monopoly, he would invest the money in industries that would not have high returns in the short term, that is, within ten years, but must be developed in the future.

To put it bluntly, these are actually the four major banks and large state-owned enterprises. In the future, the functions of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Railways may be added. When the technology and market mature, they will be separated and become national functional departments.

This may look similar to the Shaofu of the past, but there are still big differences.

Moreover, the rules of Fuxing Company were formulated entirely in accordance with the corporate system of later generations. From the top president to the grassroots manager, it had its own set of rewards, punishments and management methods that were different from those of officials.

To put it more clearly, the management of Fuxing Company is actually a public institution, the grassroots officials are contract workers, and the Shaofu is all civil servants, and they are central government civil servants.

Mo Zibu couldn't even imagine how the corruption and inefficiency, which were currently barely controllable, would expand if Fuxing Company was transformed into the Shaofu.

It is estimated that most of the annual income will be divided up and wasted by these guys.

Moreover, those who proposed to change the Fuxing Company into the Shaofu were all civil servants recommended by the meritorious officials of Fujian and Guangdong.

They don't want to change it to Shaofu, they want to take over Fuxing Company and make it a monopoly trust in their hands.

So Mo Zibu used the Embroidered Uniform Guard to thoroughly investigate the officials who wrote the petition and their supporters, and then recorded them in a small notebook. These people would never be able to reach a high position in their lifetime.

At the same time, Mo Zibu was constantly changing the internal structure of Fuxing Company.

The top leadership still uses people from Fujian and Guangdong because they are the core group and are easier to use and better to command.

However, Mo Zibu promoted and introduced a large number of middle-level cadres from the four provinces of Huguang, Sichuan, Shaanxi and Shanhe. This was also a stepping stone for these local scholars who were one step away from catching up with the new era.

By this year, more than one-sixth of the scholars in these seven provinces have been diverted to the Fuxing Company.

Among these one-sixth scholars, half of them directly used their scholar status to pass the examination to become grassroots managers of Fuxing Company, and the other half were studying in the Taixue majors of Fuxing Company, which were targeted for training.

Mo Zibu also frequently convened meetings of the middle-level management of Fuxing Company. By this means, the emperor himself had considerable direct control over the middle-level management of Fuxing Company.

In addition, with the Jinyiwei as the supervisory department, the Fuxing Company was even relatively clean than the imperial government.

Since the grand Chengde court meeting will be held starting today, the core area around Mulan Paddock has been blocked by curtains made of colorful cloth.

A large group of about several hundred original Beijing bannermen, speaking various languages, were smilingly welcoming guests from all over the place.

These bannermen are really suitable for this. Originally, among the Beijing bannermen, they were not very good at fighting. Most of those who could fight were driven to the battlefield by Mo Zibu.

These people cannot fight, but most of them can read and write, and many of them can speak several languages. They have learned the ability to speak auspicious words since childhood, and they have no problem dealing with people.

And these people were happy about it, because at least they were of some use and no longer had to be trapped in the enclosure and have no food to eat like before.

Qi Kun, a member of the Yellow Belt An Prince family of the Qing Dynasty, even managed to get a brocade robe. He wore a large hat and stood at the gate of the enclosure to welcome guests with a bright look. He didn't look like a Manchu at all.

Chebudenzabu, the Chechen Shunyi King who came from Mobei, was an old acquaintance of Qikun. Seeing the former royal family member with a yellow belt being treated like a protocol guest, Chebudenzabu felt quite uncomfortable.

He walked forward and made the same bowing gesture as before.

"Oh, King Shunyi, this - can't - be done!" Qi Kun was frightened and hurried over to support Chebudenzabu. Everything had changed, but the intonation of his voice remained the same.

"Prince Shunyi, the custom of kowtow is an old custom from the previous dynasty. Han people don't pay attention to it. Please come in quickly. I will have someone take you to the Chechen vassal's seating area."

Chebudenzabu was even more surprised. He widened his eyes and said, "Han people, you are Han people?"

"How could that be possible?" Qi Kun snorted. "The Han people are getting terrified now. How can you become a vassal just because you want to? Prince Shunyi, you can only be a vassal, not a direct vassal."

Qi Kun spoke with a little emotion because he was afraid that Chebudenzabu was ordered to test him.

Chebudenzabu was choked and then reacted.

At this time, saying such words in this occasion is indeed too inappropriate and a bit taboo.

He looked at the clouds in the sky and sighed deeply, "The Qing Dynasty is truly over. Second Master, take care of yourself!"

Qi Kun heard the sigh and reluctantly believed that Chebudenzabu was not here to test him, so he also said a few words from the heart.

"Your Highness, since ancient times, the remnants of the previous dynasty can still survive in the new dynasty, and live well. There are very few of them. The Dayu Dynasty is considered quite generous.

Thanks to what my ancestors did, I now have enough food to eat and warm clothes to wear, and I don’t have to work as a laborer in a coal mine. That is all the grace of Uncle Guangzhong.

Your Borjigin family has been prosperous, and our Aisin-Gioro family has also been prosperous, but in the end, no matter what, this world should belong to the Han people.

They should lead us to seize territory from those foreigners, because they have more people and can contribute more, so they can get things done."

At this time, the idea of respecting the emperor and expelling the barbarians, which was originally used in Japan, was spread back to the country and instead affected many ethnic groups on the mainland.

Many people agree with the narrative that Eastern nations should respect the emperor as the true saint king and expand their living space outward.

"That's right, but I'm being obsessed." Chebudenzabu thought about the situation of the Mongols, or rather, there was no clear concept of Mongols at that time, and he thought about the future of his own tribe.

Isn't it just to follow the Han emperor to drive out the Russians, destroy Uzi in the future, and occupy more fertile land to the west to leave it to future generations?

So he bowed to Qi Kun and said meaningfully, "Second Master Jin, we'll meet again in the new dynasty!"

Among those with the surname Aisin-Gioro, there were a few who had made considerable contributions and were allowed to be Han citizens. The emperor ordered that they all be given the surname Jin.

So at this time, calling the people of the Aisin Gioro family "Jin" is considered a blessing, and they are also very happy.

Qi Kun was also very happy. He bowed and said nothing more, continuing to do his welcoming work without any dissatisfaction.

The Chechen King Shunyi, also known as Chebudenjab, the Chechen Khan of Mobei during the Qing Dynasty, turned around and walked towards the seat of the Chechen vassal arranged for him by the court.

The last bit of political influence that the Qing Dynasty exerted on this land was finally about to disappear.

May 1785, . This was the second day of the fourth lunar month in the tenth year of Emperor Guangzhong's reign in the Great China, the fiftieth year of Emperor Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty.

The Chengde Hajj Conference, which had been prepared for almost nine months, was finally held.

There are more than 500 Chinese vassal families from all over the country in Dayu, including the four ethnic groups of Mongolian, Chao and Thai.

Under the jurisdiction of the Southwestern Mission and the Northeastern Mission, there were 216 chieftains of various surnames, including the Xuanwei Envoy, the Deputy Xuanwei Envoy, the Associate Xuanwei Envoy, the Pacifier, the Pacification Envoy, the Local Magistrate, and the Local County Magistrate.

Foreign vassal states such as the King of Burma, the King of Ahom, the Principality of Luang Prabang, and the Principality of Champasak were all present.

In addition, there were envoys from Britain, France, (Russia), the Holy Roman Empire, Prussia, Spain, Portugal and other countries.

The Mysore Kingdom in the Tianzhu region, the Kingdom of Hyderabad, the representative of the King of Burma in Hanchuan Province, the representative of the King of Arakan, the Sultan of Brunei, the Sultan of Aceh, etc., also took the initiative to request to come for an audience.

'Woo-woo-woo!'

After everyone arrived, the long and heavy sound of horns, with a hint of ancient calling, seemed to ring from the sky.

The guests on the viewing platform immediately stood up, and some began to gather to the front, because this was a sign that the emperor was about to arrive.

Sure enough, after the sound of the ox horn, the sound of drums and music suddenly rang out. Protected by hundreds of warriors in golden armor, the emperor, in accordance with Zhou rituals, held a yellow silk umbrella and rode on a chariot of six white horses, under a large red flag with a golden sun and moon. He slowly came.

The emperor's six carriages arrived near the viewing platform where the emperor was about to ascend. The carriages stopped and Mo Zibu stood tall wearing a twelve-drapery crown.

Several eunuchs in brocade robes hurried forward, one of whom shouted, "The Emperor orders all the vassal states, nobles, and civil and military officials to come forward and pay their respects!"

After he finished speaking, all the court officials of the fifth rank and above, and the vassal officials at all levels, came forward in order, kowtowed and paid homage, and shouted "Long live the emperor!"

The order of ranking is also very particular, with meritorious officials, noble relatives, and internal and external vassal states on the left, and civil and military ministers on the right.

Among them, the ranking of civil and military ministers according to their ranks, including meritorious officials and vassal officials, is very interesting.

At the front were all eunuchs, and the leader was the emperor's brother-in-law who had just arrived from Lanzhou, the original major shareholder, the Prime Minister of the Northwest Mission, and Duke Xia Li Xianwen.

Afterwards, dukes, county lords, marquises and earls of various countries stood in order. Behind them came the leaders of the Chinese vassal states, led by the emperor's sworn brother, King Mo Chuan of the Jin Dynasty.

This person was chosen well in his early years. He was first adopted as the son of the retired emperor Mo Tianci, and early on got the surname Mo, becoming a brother that the emperor had to recognize.

Later, he handed over the whole of Cambodia and successfully became the king. He can be said to be a real winner in life.

Behind the Chinese vassal states are the vassal states of the four tribes of Chao, Meng and Tai.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that these people’s titles sound impressive, like “king” or “king”, but these titles are not worth much at all.

There were nine people in Dayu Chaoguang who were granted the title of King of Shunyi. In terms of political status, it is not certain who is higher than the Fangbo (vassal earl) of the Chinese vassal states.

Among these people, the one who ranked first was naturally the emperor's father-in-law, the father of Mobei Flower Wuyunga, Tushetu Shunyi King Chedendorji.

Behind these vassal states were peripheral forces such as the King of Burma, the King of Ahom, and the Sultan of Aceh, which were even on the verge of being eliminated.

As for the representatives of the Kingdom of Mysore and Hyderabad, they are not qualified to be subjects.

"Brother King Jin, please come to the front row. You are the head of the royal family, how can you be behind these youngsters?" Mo Zibu stood at the highest point and waved to King Mo Chuan of Jin, who was kneeling on the ground in the distance. Then he said to the eunuch beside him:

"And bring the King of Jin to the head of the Duke of Qiong. They are all my elder brothers."

At this time in the Dayu Dynasty, the one with the highest title was the third brother Mo Zirong in Europe. He was the first and only prince among the eunuchs and was named King of Lu.

The second highest rank was that of a prince who enjoyed the treatment of a prince in terms of ceremonial guards, bestowed clothing, etc. He was called the King of Ryukyu in imperial decrees, but in fact he was a county prince. His national surname was Mu, that is, the original King of Ryukyu, Shang Mu.

The rest are the emperor's brother-in-law Li Xianwen, Duke of Xia, his eldest brother Mo Zihuang, Duke of Qiong, and his second brother Mo Zitang, Duke of Cai.

As well as Chen Lian, Duke of Yue, who defeated the British in India, and Zheng Miao (Ashui), the eldest son of Zheng Xin, Duke of Cheng, who was nominally the Prime Minister of Nanyang but did not take up the post.

At this time, Prince Mo Zirong of Lu had not returned from Europe, and the Ryukyu Kingdom's surname Mu had no qualifications to come to the front, and his rank was even lower than that of a county duke.

Therefore, Mo Zibu said that King Mo Chuan of the Jin Kingdom was his elder brother, and placed him under his elder brother, Duke Mo Zihuang of Qiong, which was considered a great courtesy.

It also indicates that the highest-ranking king of the future Chinese vassal states will be equivalent to the hereditary duke of the country.

Mok Kho is 61 years old this year. He was once driven off the throne by the Siamese. Due to civil strife, he almost became the only heir of the Cambodian royal family and was adopted by the emperor.

He seized the opportunity at the most critical moment and, with great perseverance, handed over Cambodia to the rule of the Jin Dynasty shogunate prepared for him by the court.

It can be said that he has seen all kinds of storms and is as steady as an old dog, so he knows what time it is.

To make an inappropriate analogy, this is the moment when Jiang Ziya was deified in the Investiture of the Gods. There is no need to pretend to refuse, nor to be panic. The most important thing is to hurry up and grab a seat.

As for the person above him, Mo Chuan took a quick look at him and immediately looked away.

This is not just about being the emperor's brother-in-law. Li Xianwen is also the original major shareholder, and initially he has more shares than the emperor.

In the Great Yu Dynasty, no one could surpass his status except the emperor and the emperor emeritus.

Mo Qi was right in his thinking. Mo Zibu was completing the List of Gods and using this seating arrangement to completely clarify the level of future nobility status.

Among the ministers in the Dayu court today, there are six ranks of meritorious officials: Prince, Prince of a County, Duke of a State, Duke of a County, Marquis, and Earl, and four ranks of civilian nobility: General Dingguo, General Zhenguo, General Fuguo, and General Fengguo.

Internal meritorious officials are divided into two types: hereditary officials and officials who are demoted for three generations. The former's full name should be added with the four words "hereditary officials", and the latter's full name should be added with the two words "founding the country".

The Chinese vassal states were divided into eight levels: King, Duke, Marquis, Governor, Gentleman, Baron, Envoy, and Garrison Commander.

So strictly speaking, for example, Wu Rang’s title of Marquis of Songcheng should actually be called Marquis of Songcheng.

If he becomes an eunuch, his full title will become the hereditary Marquis of Songcheng or the founding Marquis of Songcheng.

This time, Mo Zibu appointed the King of Jin, the highest-ranking vassal among the relatives, as the Duke of the Internal Affairs Bureau, which means that the political status of the vassal king in the country is roughly equivalent to that of the hereditary Duke of the Internal Affairs Bureau.

As for the vassal states, most of the lords of these newly incorporated states were not Chinese. The titles sounded impressive, with titles like King of Shunyi, King of Shunning, King of Shunzhi, and the lowest level being Marquis of Zhongshun, but in reality, their political status was not very high.

For example, Mo Zibu summoned Chedeng Dorji, the King of Tushetu Shunyi, and ordered him to stand under the Earl of the Internal Officials. As the so-called vassal king, his status was actually not as high as that of an Earl of the Internal Officials.

As for the other Burmese kings and Ahom kings, they sound more plausible, but no one takes them seriously.

They did not even have the qualifications to be vassal states, and could not even get a royal surname. They were just wild children outside the royal family. Some of them were even destined to be eliminated, such as the Sultan of Brunei and the Sultan of Aceh.

After the status of the meritorious official was confirmed, it was time to sing his praises, which was a popular activity.

The indigenous scholars from the four provinces that were deeply influenced by Confucian culture and had not yet become the land of the rising sun for the Chinese, the two provinces in the north and south of the peninsula, and the two southern provinces, came out to sing poems that they had prepared long ago with great joy.

Well, yes, there are still natives in Guangnan and Rinnan provinces.

But this native is not the same as the original Yue people.

After Mozibu unified Annan and brought them back, more than 70% to nearly 80% of the Han Gaomen in Nanjing, Annan followed Mozibu, agreed with his ideas, and returned to continue to be Han people.

The remaining nearly 20%, led by Li Guidun, who disagreed, were basically killed by Deng Chenchang and Chen Shaochang, the brother-in-law and brother-in-law, mainly Deng Chenchang, who killed more than 100,000 people in total.

The few remaining people were Han people who had a knot in their hearts and did not dare to rebel, so Mo Zibu drove them to the high mountains of Annan.

At the same time, Annan does not only have Kinh people, there are actually more than one million people of other ethnic groups. Now these ethnic groups who can't speak much Chinese are the natives of the two southern provinces.

They were also learning Chinese and helping the court monitor the very few Kinh people who had been driven into the mountains.

"Xu Haoxiu, I have read your memorial and the large number of precious documents and ancient books you have preserved, and I am deeply moved.

You said I shouldn't dethrone the Lee family as King of Joseon. There's some truth to that, but you're still focused on the old vassal system and haven't realized the arrival of a new era."

The person named Xu Haoxiu by Mo Zibu was a Korean scholar.

Historically, he went to Beijing as a Korean envoy to the court in the 1776st and 1790th years of Emperor Qianlong's reign, that is, in and , and wrote the "Yanxingji", which is very important for studying the historical facts of the late Qianlong period.

Of course, the most important characteristic of this person is that he is North Korea's most fanatical Ming fan.

In history, when this guy was sent as an envoy to request the enthronement ceremony of Taksin in 1776, he thought that Taksin was a Han Chinese and the country he founded was also China, but the envoys were all dressed in Siamese style, which was not in accordance with etiquette, so he made sarcastic remarks.

When he came to pay tribute in 1790, he found that the Annan envoys had changed into the Qing Dynasty court robes. He was furious and blocked the Annan people at the gate of the Honglu Temple and scolded them fiercely.

Mo Zibu's practice of dividing the peninsula into north and south and completely abolishing the Li Dynasty hurt Xu Haoxiu greatly, because while he was shrewd, he also supported the Ming Dynasty's vassal system on the peninsula.

In addition to Xu Haoxiu's personality, after Mo Zibu completely divided the peninsula, Xu Haoxiu wrote a letter to the emperor with some harsh words, arguing that Mo Zibu's treatment of the Li Dynasty was not in accordance with etiquette and law.

Xu Haoxiu was shocked. He was indeed a man of integrity, but he was not a fool who was not afraid of death!
How can we discuss this issue at this time? We might even get our heads chopped off if we’re not careful!

But having been called by the emperor, Xu Haoxiu dared not disobey. He knelt down among the group of scholars who were singing their praises, then crawled forward a few steps on his knees and reported:
"While I was in Seoul, I did not read Your Majesty's great works and was unaware of the arrival of a new era. Therefore, my words may have been disrespectful. I beg Your Majesty to forgive me."

Xu Haoxiu admitted his mistake at first, but when Mo Zibu thought that this guy was not a tough guy, he suddenly changed the subject.

“But even in terms of the Second Warring States Period, when it came to respecting the king and expelling the barbarians, Joseon was not guilty of any serious offense.

Moreover, your ancestor, King Ren, was a loyal minister of the Ming Dynasty. He brought nine righteous men back to the court and swore their blood to commemorate the loyalty of the Ming emperors.

Your Majesty expelled the Tartars and recovered the lost territory, and you also reported this to the Emperor Taizu of the Ming Dynasty. The Mingxiang people were born into a family of loyal ministers of the Ming Dynasty, and they are descendants of the same loyalty and righteousness as my king.

I do not oppose Your Majesty's annexation of the Joseon Kingdom, but I truly cannot treat the King of the Joseon Dynasty in this way, preventing the descendants of loyalty and righteousness from achieving good results and undermining Your Majesty's benevolence."

The Inwang mentioned by Xu Haoxiu is King Hyojong of the Joseon Dynasty, also known as Fenglin Daegun. He is a super fan of Ming, even more so than Xu Haoxiu.

The so-called Nine Righteous Men were those who were forced to be hostages in the Qing Dynasty during the reign of Huang Taiji. Later, when he returned to the court, he rescued nine Han people who had fallen into the hands of the Qing Dynasty and were forced to be slaves in the Qing Dynasty.

After returning to his country to become king, Prince Fenglin Yi Hao brought these nine people with him and discussed with them day and night about restoring the Ming Dynasty. The Koreans called these nine people the Nine Righteous Men or the Nine Righteous Men of the Dynasty.

Many jokes in later generations proved that the Joseon Dynasty was a loyal minister of the Ming Dynasty. In fact, the source of most of these stories was King Hyojong of the Joseon Dynasty, Yi Ho.

Mo Zibu stood on the emperor's six chariots and looked at Xu Haoxiu, thinking for a long time.

He doesn't like Bangbang, in fact, he is disgusted by the behavior of Bangbang in later generations.

But at this time, the Koreans were truly the most loyal vassal, and many people thought it was inappropriate for him to treat the ruler of the Joseon Dynasty in this way.

After thinking for a while, Mo Zibu ordered people to bring Li San, who had no qualifications to come to the court, over.

The leader of the Joseon Dynasty was still alive, and many former yangban were actually still alive as well, because they did not flee to the mountains, but surrendered and confessed their crimes, thus saving their lives.

"Li Sun, you have a good minister!" Mo Zibu pointed at Xu Haoxiu and said to Li Sun, whose face was pale.

Then, before Li San understood what was happening, he continued, "You also have a good ancestor. Although I have driven out the Tartars and recovered our territory, you dared to wait and see and try to take a gamble. It is really despicable.

But your ancestor Li Hao's loyalty is commendable, and I cannot bear to let such a loyal minister and righteous man cut off the ancestral temple.

Let me put it this way. I will transfer your Kingdom of Korea to Jiabei Prefecture, Jiaqing Province, Nanyang, and grant you twelve counties.

I will provide you with 800,000 silver dollars from the imperial treasury and allow you to recruit 150,000 people from Lelang Province and go south to establish your fiefdom."

This Kapta Province is the northern part of Borneo, which was later the Sarawak state of Malaysia. It is now considered the territory of the Brunei Sultanate, but at the same time it does not include the later Brunei Darussalam Kingdom floating on the oil sea.

At this time, there were more than 100,000 people in Jiabei Prefecture, including more than 4,000 Chinese. The area was about half the size of the Korean Peninsula, so it was actually a pretty good place to go.

When Li Shen heard Mo Zibu's arrangement, he was greatly surprised, because he had already prepared for the possibility that the ancestral temple would be destroyed and even his entire family would be killed.

But when he heard that he could have a place to establish his fiefdom and received a reward of 800,000 silver dollars, how could he not be overjoyed?

"I, your humble servant, thank you for your grace. I hesitated and waited, but my crimes were extremely serious. Your Majesty, forgive me and let bygones be bygones. From now on, I will colonize and defend the land in Jiabei Prefecture for Your Majesty, so that the land will forever be blessed by your grace!"

Prince Yi Sun of Joseon was moved to tears of gratitude, but the representative of the Brunei Sultanate was almost paralyzed by fear and was shaking all over.

Even though Mo Zibu cut off half of the territory without their consent or even informing them, the envoys did not dare to say a word.

Mo Zibu was quite satisfied, and then looked at the Brunei envoy and the Aceh envoy beside him.

"Go back and tell the King of Brunei that your country is half-Huang of the Chinese descent. If your lord is willing to change his surname to Huang, I will move you to Aceh and grant him the kingdom of Deli."

The so-called Deli was part of the Sultanate of Aceh and was considered a semi-vassal state.

Hearing that Mozibu was cutting the cake again, the envoy of Sultan Alauddin Muhammad Sayyah of Aceh, who had been in constant friction and conflict with China and came this time not mainly to pay tribute but to see the intentions of the Chinese emperor, could no longer bear it.

"Great Emperor, Deli is the territory of the Sultan of Aceh. You cannot dispose of other people's property like this!"

"Hahahahahaha!" Mo Zibu laughed loudly, and the nobles, civil officials and military generals around him also laughed loudly.

"Nanyang has been a vassal state of China since ancient times. King Er Yaqi was supported by the eunuch Sanbao and was canonized by the Ming Dynasty. How dare you speak so arrogantly? You are disrespectful to your king and father!"

"Come here, take this lunatic and all the members of the Aceh delegation away and detain them to await their fate!"

Mo Zibu decided the fate of a nation with a wave of his hand, and then said to Li San, who was still kneeling on the ground: "King of Joseon, please drive the carriage for me!"

Li Sun quickly got up and knelt beside the emperor's six-chariot, pretending to be the driver.

This is an extremely important reward. Not everyone can be the emperor's charioteer.

In the distance, the envoys from Britain, France and other countries exchanged glances. William Pitt the Younger said to the Russian envoy Dashkova in a somewhat desolate and pointed tone:

"We have witnessed the restoration of Seris, the Rome of the East, to its full glory. The Emperor of Guangzhong now has the power of life and death over the entire Eastern world. The last remaining vacancy is probably in the northwest."
