Chapter 1: Traveling Through Time, But Warhammer

Chapter 1: Traveling Through Time, But Warhammer

Arthur traveled through time.

The last moment he remembered, he had just said goodbye to his group of friends who were still fighting for the Emperor in the 41st millennium, and was about to start his daily coding work, and then he lost consciousness in a trance.

Then he appeared in this steel casting room.

When he raised his eyes and looked at the golden double-headed eagle shining on the steel wall, the incense and candles added a warm background to the house and also dispelled the dull corruption in the air.

But Arthur's heart had already sank.

"dream?"

bang-

The iron boots touched the ground, bringing an echo. Arthur stepped over the burning brazier. An extremely burly figure was reflected on the mirror-like wall.

It was a figure wrapped in pitch-black armor.

He was covered in a grey robe, and the armor vaguely visible through the gaps revealed exquisite and gorgeous patterns. Under the shoulder armor covered by skulls and icons, a vague winged sword emblem could be vaguely made out.

He lowered his head thoughtfully. Beside the bed where he had gotten up, a sword and shield lay quietly in the holy oil that looked like a crystal pool of water.

The sword blade flashed with a cold light, and even Arthur, a layman, could not help but admire its exquisite casting craftsmanship. On the shield, the two overlapping swords divided the shield into four parts. The top was a golden imperial sky eagle, and the rest was occupied by two gray-robed figures.

Perhaps they should not appear on the battlefield, but should be placed in the most respectful display case and receive people's worship.

Arthur took a deep breath.

The seven lung lobes expanded to their limit, as if the pumping hearts were like two burning power furnaces, bringing surging heat to every part of the body.

But Arthur felt his heart had turned cold.

Even the Space Marine's superhuman physique could not give Arthur's panicked soul a trace of security at this moment.

"I should really pray I'm dreaming."

Otherwise, just pray that the time you travel through is the 30k universe or the period when the Lion King returns in 42k.

Then he noticed that a book called the Codex Astartes was placed in an unusually conspicuous position on the table.

Oh, it seems we can only pray for the return of the Lion King.

He casually pushed the toilet paper and the tabletop into the storage box, then walked to the pool, stretched his armored hands into the pool, and picked up the sword and shield that he had used so easily in the game. At the same time, he regretted why he indulged in role-playing when playing games.

The room was very quiet, with no sound except for the flickering candlelight. The moment the nearly three-meter-tall giant grasped his sword and shield, he seemed to have fallen into a state of stillness.

There was no doubt that Arthur was numb.

Time travel, what a fascinating word.

But when it's tied to Warhammer 40k, things aren't so great.

Warhammer 40k, a space opera IP created by GW, is a super cesspool created by various races with war as the main theme. In the forty-first millennium of the human Gregorian calendar, this cesspool has expanded to its limit.

And Arthur's current identity as a Space Marine, which can be said to be a lucky luck, cannot give him any sense of security, because he is a fallen angel!
And now, without being sure whether the Lion King has awakened, he has to face one of the most powerful and insane groups in Warhammer 40k.

The Dark Angels, as the first of the twenty Space Marine Legions of the Imperium, have naturally been given special significance and countless honors for their countless achievements and the name of the First Legion. They often regard themselves as the role model of Space Marines.

And such a battle group naturally cannot tolerate any stain.

Arthur looked at the black paint on his hand in silence.

Fallen angels are considered by the Dark Angels as their stain.

As long as the Fallen Angels are involved, this silent, self-disciplined chapter that always demands the best of itself will tear off their disguise and use all means to eliminate any traces of the Fallen Angels. Opening fire on friendly forces, psychic interrogation, using forbidden technology, issuing extermination orders, etc. are all routine operations.

Then once the fallen angel falls into their hands, any cruel means you can imagine may be used by these crazy people.

I'd rather die.

Arthur thought sadly, but when he thought about the existence of the subspace, he realized that he would probably not be able to rest in peace even if he died.

This is the truth of this world. When you are alive, you are struggling in a cesspool, and when you die, you are doing butterfly strokes in a deeper cesspool.

nmd, even death is not peaceful.

Nameless anger rose from the bottom of his heart, and Arthur walked to the door of the room, sword in hand. A person facing a desperate situation will lose their reason, and this lost reason will turn into violent tendencies at this moment.

This house was obviously a dormitory for Space Marines, so he went to find the person in charge to apply for a mission.

Arthur now just wanted to chop people down. If he died, it would be all over. He could chop down a few people and drag a few others down with him to eat shit together.

Anyway, my life in the Warhammer world I traveled through is already ruined.

I just don’t know if the Emperor wants time travelers, otherwise it would be nice to be able to join the Cursed Legion.

I pressed the door opening button hard, but the door didn't move at all, as if it was blocked by something.

Arthur's face tightened and he kicked the door with a big kick.

boom!
puff~
There was a crisp sound of metal breaking, followed by the sound of soft tissue being crushed by a huge force. As a handful of foul-smelling blue liquid splashed onto the visor, the scene in front of Arthur suddenly became clear.

This is a spacious battleship corridor, where cold wall lamps flicker.

Arthur lowered his head and saw that in the wide passage outside the fence, green orcs were shouting "waaagh" and fighting with humans covered in cheap weapons.

Arthur looked up and saw countless strange creatures with three pairs of limbs hanging upside down from the ceiling. Their pink muscles seemed transparent under the light, and their bony shells expanded and contracted with their breathing.

Arthur glanced sideways and saw a creature with pointed ears and an elf-like appearance lying on the edge of the guardrail with a twisted and desperate expression on its face. It had long lost the ability to struggle. Beside them was a graceful pink figure who had come here after smelling the charming scent.

And right in front of Arthur, under the deformed metal door, a blue horror was dying, its fat body exploded. Looking at the angel in front of it, its chaotic eyes were filled with boundless despair, and the broken and collapsed load-bearing columns told the kind of damage it had just suffered.

The huge movement naturally attracted the attention of the battlefield members, but it was only for a moment. As their eyes collided again, the chaotic battlefield began its rhythm again.

Just like the tone of the universe.

Death, chaos.

".hehe."

Looking at the heroes in front of him, Arthur pulled the corners of his mouth and couldn't help but smile bitterly. The anger in his heart dissipated in that instant.

He no longer knew what expression he should make, but a wry smile was the right way to describe it.

Because when you are speechless to the extreme and really can't hold it in any longer, you don't know what expression to make and can only pull up the corners of your mouth to smile, which is a bitter smile!
When I looked back, the room where I woke up was gone.

Arthur stepped forward.

bump!
The shield pressed forward, easily crushing the body of a cultist. The sword blade emitted a blue flash, and took off the head of the gene stealer in just an instant. The heavy metal upper easily crushed the body of the dark eldar and sent it to the side of the Prince of Pleasure.

This is a multi-racial world with humans, elves, orcs, demons and other fantasy creatures.

call!
Blue flames blew over, melting the metal in the corridor and hitting the solid shield that was shining brightly. Arthur raised his hand to disperse the flames, raised his left hand high, and the plasma weapon hidden behind the shield burst out blue plasma, instantly melting the wizard hiding in the crowd.

A world where magic and machinery coexist.

"Blood sacrifice to the blood god!"

The bloodletter with naked bright red skin wields a giant sword and harvests the heads of mortals.

"For the Emperor!"

The Astra Militarum, armed with melta explosives, charged into the demonic horde.

A world where gods and mortals live side by side in the world.

scoff!

The hull was torn apart by an invisible force, revealing the scene outside the ship.

It is a scene that is difficult to describe in words.

Frost spread along the crack, and the transparent force field flickered under the impact of the distortion storm.

A world where you never know how tomorrow will come!
Arthur swung his sword at the monsters in front of him with a relieved smile.

This is Warhammer 40k!
