This is our Warhammer journey

Chapter 3 This is the Astra Militarum!

Chapter 3 This is the Astra Militarum!

"We are currently in a Deathwatch Strike Cruiser. The hull of the warship has become like this because the Deathwatch were ambushed by Chaos Space Marines while pursuing Dark Eldar pirates at Mandeville Point, and then hit by the green-skinned iron lump that just jumped over."

"As for the crew members on board who were controlled by the Chaos Cult, they killed the Navigator, activated the Warp Drive, and performed a cult ritual on board. It just so happened that this Chaos Cult was Undivided Chaos, so the ship became a multicolored mess and even attracted the lurking thieves."

In front of a blocked iron gate, Romulus calmly explained the current situation of the ship.

Arthur shrugged as if he had expected it, but he felt as uncomfortable as if he had eaten shit.

This style of painting is really to my taste, it is a gathering of all the best.

"What are we going to do next?"

Not bothering to wait for the reaction of the Thinker who was infected with the virus, Arthur swung his sword and cut open the iron gate blocking the way.

"We'll meet up at the central elevator first, and then head to the Geller Field Generator with the Cadian 43rd. There's a Chaos Space Marine invasion there, and we need to assist the Death Watch squad stationed there to eliminate the enemy. Then, we'll go to the Navigator's Sanctuary and see if we can escape the Warp."

Romulus threw a road-blocking hot steel behind him. The molten plastic steel blocked the cultists' pursuit and trapped them with the fanatical greenskins.

"This ship houses the Cadian 43rd Cadian Blitzkrieg Regiment and the Sisters of Battle. The situation is relatively under control. Oh, and please spend some points to record your High-Low Gothic recording for me to avoid communication difficulties later."

"How to change?"

Arthur looked confused.

"You have cheats but you haven't done any research at all. All these years of online writing about you have been wasted."

Romulus paused and couldn't help but complain again.

Then he shook his head slightly and began to explain.

"As long as you're willing to spend your points to redeem these two languages, you can edit this redemption system yourself. Strictly speaking, it's not really a system, but rather a model that's been adapted to be more acceptable to us. However, I don't have much time for you to research it right now."

"Oh oh oh."

Following his good brother's instructions, Arthur immediately popped up a panel in his consciousness and was able to enter the language.

There are many things among them that I have seen and have not seen before. If I really want to use them portablely, I really need to spend time studying them.

Arthur looked at the confusing data, as well as many of the items that were categorized according to his own subjective thoughts. After a moment of hesitation, he gave up the idea of exchanging them.

"Besides us, who else is here?"

Walking along the passage, Arthur carefully observed any shadows that might harbor enemies.

The enemy density here is much smaller, and there are a large number of corpses hit by bombs along the way. Every shot hits a vital point, which can basically be confirmed to be the work of Space Marines.

"Two more."

Arthur's question made Romulus think of the guy who gave him a headache.

"let me guess."

Arthur, who was giving a veteran barbecue to a big green guy, took out an incendiary gun from his waist and asked tentatively.

"Karna and Ramses?"

They are four old moon people. You can tell by their names, they are all names of heroes in history. Basically, they make an appointment to play games together whenever there is one. Since Romulus has come, it is not difficult to guess the other two.

"Ah."

Romulus did not deny it.

"BYD's conscription also includes collective responsibility?"

Arthur had a gloomy look on his face, but to be honest, he was in a much better mood than when he first crossed over.

Even though I'm in trouble, I still have good friends around me, which is much better than struggling alone.

"Maybe our IDs look like people, so why not just follow your advice and choose the Emperor's name? I'd definitely not dare to accept the Emperor's name if I dared to use it."

Romulus sighed again, but he didn't have much negative emotion. After all, compared to being alone, he still had three unlucky guys to accompany him, right?

Eating shit alone is a torture, but eating shit with a group of people you know will make you feel more psychologically balanced.

"Where is everyone?"

Arthur asked curiously.

"One is on duty at the Navigation Sanctuary, and the other one..."

Romulus glanced at the time.

"It's almost time to kill them."

"Ok?"

Suddenly, a large number of green-skinned orcs appeared in front of him. Arthur, who was about to jump in, was pulled back. Romulus stared at the time and muttered silently.

"three."

"two."

"one."

"Horus!"

The red figure flashed by, and Arthur couldn't even see it clearly. Only the violent roar echoed in the corridor below.

Tsk! ! !

The scarlet warrior touched the ground, and the power spear burst into azure decomposition field, plowing a bloody path on the battlefield under the powerful thrust of the flying bag.

call out! ! !
Continuous slashing blows swept back and forth until everything in front of him was crushed into pieces. The Blood Angel below looked up at the two people in the passage, then looked at the Astra Militarum who were providing fire cover for him from a high position on the opposite side. With a roar, the flying bag burning with promethium once again carried him through the bulkhead of the hull.

Only the terrible roar lingered in the ears of the two men for a long time.

"Horus!"

".You are actually better than him."

".really."
-
With the help of a Blood Angel who could only shout "Horus" and then bite the cultists' heads, Arthur and his party soon arrived at the central elevator area.

As Space Marines, super humans with two hearts and three lungs, although they exchanged a lot of information along the way, in reality, in the eyes of those mortal pagans, they could only see two blurry figures, one black and one blue, flashing through the corridor, and then their heads flew up.

It's hard to imagine how such a heavy monster can be so fast.

bump!
Arthur didn't wait for the door to be opened, but cut the door panel directly. Before the enemies could react, he used the incendiary gun in his hand to wash them in the face. After killing the enemies that he couldn't deal with in close combat in an instant, he used his shield to block the chain saw axe's attack.

"waaaaagh!"

Before Arthur could fight back, the gunfire from behind the Orcs converged on him in an instant.

In an instant, the scorching laser beam pierced through its tough skin and began to tear the alien's body. In front of Arthur's surprised eyes, after penetrating the flesh and blood, it accurately avoided him who was struggling with the alien.

He was about to raise his arm to grab the head of the alien in front of him, but seeing this, he put away his sword in disbelief, and looked with a complicated look at the soldiers wearing red carapace armor with dark camouflage combat uniforms inside who were already shooting at other aliens.

At the front of the position, there were fewer shield guards wearing heavy armor and guarding the key passes with solid boarding shields. The bodies of traitors and aliens were torn to pieces by various attacks of unknown origin. Blood and debris mixed together, and as the shield guards trampled on them, they covered the deck with a sticky blanket.

In the center of the position, each fire team accurately suppressed the passage. The Genestealer who had just lifted the ceiling had most of his body melted by the laser that followed the moment he leaned out.

On the side of the position, the heavy-bolt machine gun went silent for just a moment, and then someone pulled down a half-destroyed corpse to replace the firing position, and the reassuring dull sound was heard again on the battlefield.

At the end of the position, groups of transport troops carried boxes of ammunition or energy batteries and moved between the firing points, replacing ammunition for the soldiers who were constantly pouring down firepower to ensure continuous firepower.

Everyone has his own things to do. Countless flesh and blood bodies rely on their own excellent qualities to build this line of defense as solid as a rock in the face of all kinds of monsters and demons.

"This is the Cadian Blitzkrieg."

Mulus seemed to have witnessed the combat effectiveness of these Star Army soldiers long ago. He cleared the enemies in his sight without any surprise and entered the position first.

Indeed, even though the Astra Militarum is a stepping stone and background board that is rubbed to the ground by countless monsters in many Warhammer works, in the real universe, they are all soldiers selected from the best of the population of a planet.

What's more, the soldiers in the fiery red uniforms before them came from Cadia, a world where a six-year-old child could accurately use a laser rifle. They were elite among the elite Astra Militarum, so it was not surprising that they performed like this.

Compared to the Space Marines who have been limited in size and gradually turned to special operations since the implementation of the Astartes Codex, these large numbers of mortal soldiers are now the main combat force of the Empire in fighting against its own heretics and aliens.

Arthur silently glanced around, wrote down the information around him, listened attentively to the communication between the soldiers, and then followed Romulus.

This is the battleship transport elevator guarded by the 43rd Cadia Regiment. As they entered the position, a group of greenskins rushed into the battlefield that had just been quiet for less than seconds.

However, under the firepower network of this elite force, the orcs who had been screened by various demons, cultists, and thieves no longer had much impact here. Facing the precise and dense firepower network, the only way left was death.

The Astra Militarum formed a tight defense line here. Apart from the warriors who were still dealing with the aliens on the defense line, some even had the energy to perform the Sky Eagle Salute to the angels of the Empire.

Amidst the noises of grenade launchers, laser rifles, grenades, and flamethrowers that gradually grew noisy again, Arthur nodded slightly in response.

"For the Emperor!"

Low Gothic is a bit like a mixture of multiple symbolic languages, and it has quite a few similarities with the language Arthur knows. Coupled with his superhuman brain after traveling through time, he quickly understood many of the words.

Perhaps because he had a superhuman body, when Arthur focused on something, his learning progress would reach an exaggerated level, just like when he was chopping off those monsters before.

"For the Emperor, my Lord!"

The Astra Militarum soldiers were flattered and continued to guard their own defense lines while shouting slogans.

It was visibly apparent that the spirits of these tired soldiers had brightened considerably.
