This is our Warhammer journey

Chapter 52: Move forward with hope.

Chapter 52: Move forward with hope.

"According to strategic simulation data, the chance of winning this battle is less than 0.7%."

The central processor of the mechanical ark "Steel Soul" vibrated and hummed, and the new incarnation of the Great Sage Cawl awoke from the life support cabin.

As this mechanical body, nearly two-thirds smaller than the standard model, stretched its joints, the electronic hymn played by the servo system echoed in the cabin. On the exposed body, the identification code for verifying the identity had long been erased.

The priest standing in front of the observation screen had data streams surging under his cloak, and his identification code was covered by triple encryption.

"The dedicated data link was physically severed, but the public frequency band remained synchronized."

Cawl calibrated the signal link interface with the Dawn.

"This is an observation window that the other party deliberately preserved, Great Sage."

As the dust reflected by the light distorted, a tall figure gradually emerged.

This is a Space Marine, but he is much more muscular than an ordinary Space Marine. The armor he wears is not any model currently available in the Empire, but it is obviously more sophisticated than the power armor currently in service.

That is the MK10 power armor, the gift that Archmagos Cawl will bestow upon the new generation of Space Marines in the future.

"The target ship has passed Level 67 decontamination protocols. % of our seventy-two observation nodes have had their logic overwritten. The remaining units have initiated self-destruct sequences."

The report from the Primaris Leader had the distorted quality of encrypted communications.

"According to personnel data flow analysis, the crew's quality of life index has increased by 82%, and the productivity curve has increased exponentially - our predecessors moved very quickly."

He did not show any surprise at the great sage's change of body, and it was obvious that he was already accustomed to it.

"As expected of the elite of his time, it seems my concern is unnecessary. However, the workers aboard the Dawn aren't from the civilized world, and the level of education of those technicians might make implementing the new policy difficult."

Kohl's sigh was filled with the evaporation of lubricant. He whispered his admiration for the other party's professionalism and did not show any covetousness towards the traversers' skills.

The skull server projected an image of the cruiser, showing the faces of countless technicians.

Wooden, turbid, and dull.

“No matter how ingenious the reform blueprint is, it is difficult to sow seeds in the uncivilized wasteland of knowledge.”

The so-called surveillance was not out of malice, but because the appearance of these ancient warriors in this era was undoubtedly a gift from Om Messiah. Cawl had to be extremely cautious about their safety.

"Lord Romulus emphasized in his orders to the warship's officers that they should at least try. As for the effectiveness, that is another matter."

Seeing that Cawl was listening, the Primaris One continued:
"Karna-sama, who was in charge of directly managing the civilians, strictly supervised every process. He personally watched every pill enter the workers' mouths."

"Lord Arthur publicly executed several senior officers of the fleet, establishing the authority of the new law, while secretly purging the ships of heresy."

"Lord Ramses oversaw the modification of the ship and incorporated the technical knowledge of the Mechanical Priests. He also tested the influence and interference of the Warp."

"Regarding the unknown production lines within the battleship, it's preliminarily determined that they may possess STC (Standard Construction Template) and pocket space technology, as well as a high level of understanding of the subspace."

Having said this, the First One paused.

"The above is what the adults want us to see."

“There’s a clear division of labor.”

Countless images flashed through the processor. Kaul sighed and then asked:
"anything else?"

"What?" The First One was puzzled.

"What did you see yourself?"

The First One pondered for a moment, and finally grabbed the image that impressed him most from his memory.

“I saw rationality and what they expected of human beings.”

"They have sufficient understanding of the subspace, but they will not reject a particular thing to the extreme. Instead, they will combine past experience and try to change it."

"They believe that even mortals' character, abilities, and living standards will improve with their willingness to improve." "Compared to other humans I've met, they are much more confident. They seem to only see problems that have been solved and those that are about to be solved. This is completely different from the Empire today."

“Go forward and hope.”

The Primaris First murmured the whispers of the elders as they watched the mechanics within the ship.

"This is what they want to tell humanity."

"Do you think this is the right thing to do?"

The First Primaris was silent, then said, "I don't know—but they are confident."

"Right now they're just trying to change a ship, and in the future, I can't guess what the limits are that they're going to push."

This confidence is like the countless people, led by the Emperor, who gazed up at the stars thousands of years ago. Though unaware of the vastness and challenges of the universe, they bravely pressed forward. Because the moment they touched the stars, humanity's future would shine brightly and be filled with hope.

They firmly believe that human beings can live another, better life.

Just because they have seen it before.

"Ha ha……"

Kaul laughed, and his entire mechanical body trembled.

The First of the Primaris was certain that, before today, the Great Sage had not used this human physiological function for a long time.

"How long has it been? Primas."

Cawl asked the Primaris Chief beside him.

In fact, he knew very well that the atomic clock in his mechanical body could always allow him to accurately control the passage of time.

But the daily conversation-like inquiries eventually helped him regain some humanity.

"Thirteen hours until departure," the Primaris replied.

"It's been ten thousand years."

As Cawl stroked the scepter inlaid with ancient fragments, the binary codes dancing in his electronic eyes suddenly weaved a temperature gradient that only humans could experience.

At this moment, he seemed no longer to be an execution terminal working blindly for a certain agreement, but the young technician who debugged the power armor for the Primarch after the grand battle - a living person who could carve jokes on the inside of the armor with engine oil.

Then he took a step and boarded the transport plane.

"While I'm away, you will be responsible for guarding the Ark."

"I will take the Titan Legion with me. I allow you to use the Primaris Space Marines as long as you ensure the safety of the Ark."

he ordered.

"Yes, great sage."

This operation cannot afford any mistakes.

Kaul wanted to achieve his goal but also needed to preserve the existing achievements.

Whether it's the Armor of Destiny that's under development or the completed Primaris Space Marines, nothing can go wrong before that man wakes up.

He is also quite greedy.

He also wanted to keep the miracle of Om Messiah.

"I hope those sons of Dorne understood my clear message."

The hatch slowly closed, and Kaul thought silently.
