Chapter 69: The Wrong Bed

Looking down at the progress bar that had grown a lot, Green put his hand down with satisfaction.

He held the twisted staff before his eyes and examined it carefully.

The staff is made of a single piece of wood, and the texture on the surface is still clearly visible.

However, the extraordinary energy contained in it has been absorbed, and it has no other use except to be placed in the living room as a decoration when it is returned home.

After taking a look at the three bodies lying on the ground, Green walked to the altar.

The altar is made up of several solid wooden tables put together, and is filled with a variety of things.

There were several glass bottles filled with human tissue-like contents, a circle of bone statues of various shapes, and some dried plants scattered around in a messy manner.

“The stuff is quite complete.”

Green muttered and reached out to test each one.

Soon, he found all the objects containing extraordinary energy.

After skillfully absorbing the extraordinary energy into the magic circle, Green was about to leave when he turned around and caught a glimpse of a puppet on the altar.

He subconsciously took a step forward and took it in his hand.

This is a doll made of straw, with a rough shape and only a simple outline of the human figure.

"Voodoo doll?"

Green frowned slightly, thinking of the inexplicable needle-like pain that had appeared in his body before.

His expression turned stern, and he gently tore open the belly of the voodoo doll with his hands.

Then, a photo fell out.

Green was quick-witted and reached out to grab the photo.

In the middle of the photo was his own image.

And judging from the appearance in the photo, it is obvious that someone took the photo at some unknown time.

"It turns out they were the ones who did this!"

Green snorted coldly, exerted a little force with his left hand, and the straw voodoo doll broke into countless pieces and fell to the ground.

This thing is a unique product of voodoo.

The wizard will choose or make a voodoo doll based on the characteristics of the object to be cursed.

They will put some personal items of the cursed person into the voodoo doll, such as hair, nails, and personal clothing.

These things are believed to contain the life force of the cursed person, allowing the wizard's curse to work more accurately on the target.

After the voodoo doll is made, the wizard will perform a ceremony to establish a mysterious connection between the voodoo doll and the cursed person.

At that time, the punishment they inflict on the voodoo doll will be attached to the cursed person like a shadow.

The pain, like a pricking needle, should be caused by the wizard using a needle to prick the voodoo doll, which was reflected on Green's body.

Fortunately, these black wizards did not get Green's personal belongings and could only use his photos.

This greatly reduces the value of their witchcraft.

"Voodoo!"

Green snorted coldly.

No matter what the reasons of these three black wizards were, since they did this, they must pay the price.

The death of the three wizards could not calm Green's anger at all.

After smashing the altar, Green found Stitch dozing off nearby.

This guy lost contact in the fog. I guess the three black wizards didn't have time to take care of it, so they let it fall asleep on the lawn by the roadside!
After returning to the car with Stitch, Green took out his cell phone and called James.

Although I know he might be busy dealing with the corpse stealing case, someone also needs to deal with the three dead black wizards on the street.

After receiving a reply from James that he would arrive as soon as possible, Green did not rush home and stayed where he was.

About ten minutes later, several police cars came roaring with sirens flashing.

Bah! ! !
With a sharp brake sound, the police cars stopped next to Green.

As soon as the car door opened, James jumped out exhausted. "You really are adding to my workload!"

He sighed deeply and came to Green's side.

"These guys should be connected to the corpse theft. Although I've beaten them to death, they should be helpful in your interrogation."

Green doesn't feel a shred of guilt about this.

Hearing this, James nodded.

He reached out and patted Green on the shoulder, saying, "Thank you very much for this time. Go back and have a good rest. Come back tomorrow to go through the procedures."

Green nodded when he heard this.

He knew what James meant.

Although they were three black people, they died on the street after all. Even though James has a lot of say in the police station, Green still needs to personally take notes and explain the situation.

Green patted James' shoulder and was about to get in the car to leave when he suddenly remembered something.

He stopped, pointed at the voodoo items scattered on the ground, and looked at James and gave him instructions.

"Collect these things carefully and don't let too many people come into contact with them."

Although he had absorbed the extraordinary energy contained in those things, voodoo was too strange, so the best way was to seal those things up.

James looked in the direction Green pointed and nodded.

He turned around and looked at Green, and asked, "Who are those guys?"

"Voodoo."

"Voodoo?"

When James heard this, he couldn't help but repeat it again, his face full of surprise.

After all, he had only heard of this word in urban legends.

"Correct."

Green nodded and said, "These guys' methods are very special and different from traditional religions."

"I understand."

James nodded solemnly: "Go back and rest early."

"Ah."

After saying goodbye to James and the police officer next to him, Green got into the car.

Not long after, he returned home.

After parking the car in the garage, Green took out his cell phone and checked the time.

After being delayed by those three black wizards, it is now only twenty minutes before two in the morning.

After cursing voodoo again in his mind, Green led Stitch into the living room.

The room was silent, with only the sound of steady breathing coming from the bedroom on the second floor.

"Going to bed so early?"

Green looked up and glanced at the second floor, then walked silently into the bathroom on the first floor.

A few minutes later, Green walked into the living room refreshed.

He took out a bottle of Coke from the refrigerator and drank it in one gulp, then burped with satisfaction. He reached out and touched the head of Stitch who was already lying on the sofa, then walked up to the second floor with his slippers drooping.

Green opened the bedroom door quietly, took off his pajamas and touched the bed.

He embraced the delicate and smooth body beside him, and his hands skillfully climbed to the peak.

After just two pinches, Green suddenly felt something was wrong.

Why does it seem to have gotten bigger?
Green suddenly opened his eyes and quickly turned on the bedside lamp beside him.

After he saw the figure next to him clearly, he jumped up from the bed.

"Selena?"
