Moreover, the diameter of the rocket body is 3.35 meters, which is not small. The diameter of the Falcon 3.7 rocket body is only about meters.

Speaking of Falcon rockets, the Falcon-70 engine and the Merlin engine it uses are both liquid oxygen-kerosene engines.

The reason for not researching more recyclable liquid oxygen-methane engines is also because domestic liquid oxygen-kerosene engines are more mature. In fact, the most mature domestic technology is various "toxic" engines, which are still used as the core stage main engines of the Long March 2, 3, and 4 rockets. Later, more advanced "clean" liquid oxygen-kerosene engines were developed and installed on the Long March 5, 6, and 7 rockets.

As for liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen engines, although they are not very mature, at least there are finished engines already in use. Liquid oxygen and methane engines are simply technical experiments and have not really been developed.

With the support of Road Cloud's advanced technology and super integration capabilities, the core components of the "Fangfei-70" liquid oxygen-kerosene reusable engine were developed in just half a year.

At this rate, the entire machine will be ready for test runs in half a year.

Originally, many people had doubts about the timeline of the R&D outline formulated by Roadun, but just like the box office of "Wolf Warrior 2" exceeded 50 billion yuan, with the "Fangfei-70" gas generator successfully completing a 1000-second test run in just half a year, it is not a dream to develop a complete engine in another half a year.

After that, various tests will be carried out on the entire rocket, so the manufacturing base and hot test center must be planned and constructed immediately.

However, this faces two problems.

One is site selection.
