Chapter 499: The Battle is Over, the World's Largest Aircraft, the An-225, Has Been Destroyed
The rocket that requires Lu Yun's signature is naturally the "Wan Hu" rocket.
The basic model of the "Wanhu" rocket has a lunar orbit carrying capacity of 2.4 tons in its recovered state. It can easily transport a 1.2-ton "Queqiao-2" satellite to lunar orbit without adding an upper stage "range extender".
Therefore, in order not to waste transport capacity, several technical test satellites from deep space exploration laboratories and universities were also co-located on this "Wanhu" rocket.
Two other satellites, named Tiandu-1 and Tiandu-2, entered lunar orbit along with Queqiao-2.
"Tiandu-1" weighs 61 kg and "Tiandu-2" weighs 15 kg.
(Images of Tiandu-1 and Tiandu-2)
Both satellites are experimental satellites for communication and navigation technology, developed under the leadership of the Deep Space Exploration Laboratory and independently developed by Harbin Institute of Technology.
With the increase in lunar exploration activities worldwide, the establishment of lunar communication, navigation, and remote sensing systems has become a hot topic in the development of the Earth-Moon space system. The "Queqiao Integrated Constellation System" between Laos and China is one such example.
The "Queqiao Navigation and Remote Sensing Integrated Constellation System" is different from the "Lunar Navigation and Resource Exploration Constellation System," since the moon's space orbit is divided into high orbit and low orbit.
The main body of the "Magpie Bridge Constellation" is in a high orbit.
Both "Tiandu" satellites are equipped with payloads such as laser angle reflectors and integrated communication devices. They mainly conduct heterogeneous calibration of space references for navigation systems using Earth-Moon laser ranging and inter-satellite microwave ranging, as well as verify new technologies such as high-reliability transmission and routing forwarding of communication systems and integrated modulation of communication and ranging.
The two satellites will enter the Earth-Moon transfer orbit together with the Queqiao-2 lunar relay satellite. After that, the two satellites will perform lunar braking to enter a highly elliptical lunar orbit. In the highly elliptical lunar orbit, high-precision lunar orbit determination and orbit measurement technologies will be carried out using methods such as satellite-to-ground laser ranging and inter-satellite microwave ranging.
Subsequently, the "Magpie Bridge Constellation" and the "Guidance Constellation" will collaborate to provide more refined and convenient technical services for lunar exploration by China and Laos.
Rockets from Blue Star Aerospace are naturally fine, but Lu Yun still carefully reviewed the inspection report and conducted a random on-site inspection before signing it.
This is, after all, a major national mission, involving the collection and return of the first human-made sample from the far side of the moon!
While Lao Zhong was working hard on this matter, things were getting increasingly strange with Xiong Da and Xiong Er.
[It feels like a fight is really going to happen, and it'll be in the next few days!]
"No way, we're still having the Winter Olympics. Wasn't there supposed to be a ceasefire during the Olympics?"
[Heh, all I can say is that humans are too naive.]
[Exactly, not to mention the imminent battle between Xiong Da and Xiong Er, even that blue and white six-pointed star, it completely disregards them because it has the backing of the Americans.]
I wonder how they'll fight; I hope it doesn't escalate into a world war.
[It's unlikely to turn into a world war, since it seems the other countries aren't planning on directly intervening.]
It's hard to say. This depends on the "fuse"—everyone learned about it in history books, right?
[You probably didn't study history properly. Just having a "fuse" isn't enough; the whole world needs to be a powder keg. The world today isn't a powder keg; it's more like a pile of half-dried firewood—it's hard to ignite with moisture still on it.]
I reckon if a real fight breaks out, Xiongda's ground forces will just push through, since his tank formations are supposed to be really powerful, right?
That's true. And China already has the new generation T-14 "Armata" main battle tank, which debuted at the 2015 military parade. The plan was to equip 2000 of them by 2020, but now there are probably 3000!
[Holy crap, really? Our country is still using the old-generation Type 99A tank. I wonder when we'll have a new generation of advanced tanks.]
[Don't listen to his nonsense. Xiong Da's "Armata" has encountered production difficulties, and currently only some experimental prototypes are available.]
[What a pity, it seems the Americans will be the first to mass-produce the new generation of main battle tanks.]
Why not us? Our tank technology is pretty good too.
[Pay attention to the latest news, it seems there's something going on with Xiong Da.]
Are we going to fight?
not at all.
On the 18th, the National Development and Reform Commission of Laos and China issued a document approving the construction of data center clusters in the eastern region and national computing power hub nodes in the western region.
With this, the overall layout design of the national integrated big data center system has been completed, and the "Eastern Data, Western Computing" project has been officially and fully launched.
On the 19th, the latest remake of "Death on the Nile" was released.
The Beijing Winter Olympics closed on the 20th!
On the 21st, Xiong Da... directly climbed over the wall and entered Xiong Er's house!
【Holy crap, we've got it! We've got it!】 【Really?】
[Seriously, the video is out!]
Wow, paratroopers are being directly airdropped into the airfield to guard key strategic points. Is this a large-scale airlift transport operation?
Yes, yes, yes, that's how it should be played!
[Wait, no, no, no, the follow-up troops haven't arrived yet, and the airborne elite troops are trapped at the airport by Xiong Er.]
[Holy crap, I know why the follow-up airborne troops didn't arrive. It's because Xiong Da didn't have any follow-up airborne troops at all; instead, he sent ground troops to storm Xiong Er's living room.]
[It wasn't a reckless dash; Xiong Da's convoy was still waiting at a red light!]
【? ? ? 】
【abstract!】
[What an excellent matchmaking system for Slavic teams...]
[Holy crap, Xiong Er has directly shelled the airport!]
[What?! Holy crap, no way! The world's largest An-225 supertanker is parked right there at the airport! It wasn't moved beforehand!]
[Oh no, satellite images are out! There's a hole in the hangar roof of the An-225!]
[Photos from the scene are out...]

The An-225 transport aircraft has a maximum takeoff weight of 640 tons, a maximum cargo hold load of 250 tons, a maximum load on the fuselage top of 200 tons, a fuselage length of 84 meters, and a wingspan of 88.4 meters.
Since its inception, the An-225 transport aircraft has continuously set new world records in terms of payload and takeoff weight, totaling 250 records.
Many of these world records remain unbroken to this day.
The year 1986 was the year the Olympic Games were officially divided into Summer and Winter.
Old Bear approved the requirements specifications for developing multi-purpose aircraft for aerospace systems, which also include the Buran space shuttle and the Dawn launch vehicle.
However, how to transport them to the launch site proved to be a challenge for the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Aviation Industry.
According to experts, air freight is the best option.
However, the Buran space shuttle was 36.4 meters long, 16 meters high, and had a wingspan of 24 meters, which meant that even existing transport aircraft could not fit it in its disassembled state.
The Ministry of Defense then approached the Antonov Design Bureau to seek their opinions.
Antonov Design Bureau proposed two options: either fix the aerospace equipment to the back of the aircraft or disassemble it and put it in the cargo hold inside the aircraft.
The key to the first option lies in how to maintain the stability and maneuverability of the aircraft under heavy loads, while the second option places extremely high demands on the aircraft's structure.
Ultimately, the Ministry of National Defense chose the first option.
And that is the An-225.
The purpose of developing this giant aircraft is to transport large aerospace equipment, such as rocket components and space shuttle components, and its top can carry the Buran space shuttle.
(An-225 carrying the Buran space shuttle)
Ultimately, the Buran space shuttle carried by An-225 never officially entered service and was abandoned in a derelict factory after the death of the old bear.
Until the factory building also collapsed and was completely destroyed.
And now the An-225 has also been destroyed under the hangar.
Even though Lu Yun had seen it once in his previous life, he was still moved when he saw it again in this life.
"Destiny..."
