Two Worlds: I studied abroad at Hogwarts

Chapter 52: Alternative Methods of Learning Small Evil Curses

Chapter 52: Alternative Methods of Learning Small Evil Curses
Moon didn't know how to answer Hermione's question.

Fortunately, the petrification spell he cast on the pottery quickly lost its effect, which gave Moon something to talk about.

"You see, it doesn't last nearly as long as your spell."

Moon was telling the truth. From the time he finished casting the spell to the time the second pottery shard fell and shattered, it was only about ten seconds.

However, Hermione's spell duration was over thirty seconds, which was three times as long as his.

"Just practice slowly."

Hermione took a deep breath, threw down a few words, picked up a big book and left.

Moon didn't say anything to stop her. He noticed that Hermione's footsteps were heavy, as if she was worried about something.

It was already ten o'clock in the evening, and the students around me were returning to the dormitory to rest.

Moon, on the other hand, enjoyed being alone very much. He picked up the two halves of the pottery again and continued practicing.

The next morning, Moon was the first one to arrive at the common room. His roommates came out only after he had practiced spells for two hours.

"Moon, it's wrong for you to do this."

Ron looked at the broken pottery shards on the ground and let out a wail.

"That's right. Wood asked us to get up at 7 o'clock to practice on the weekend. I can't do it at all."

Harry agreed. He had never gotten up before 8 o'clock since he came to Hogwarts.

But as the Quidditch competition approached, he had to respond to the call of Captain Wood and spend more time practicing every day.

"Actually, if you want to wake up early, I can provide a wake-up call, free of charge!"

"Goodbye. I finally left home, and I don't want to experience my mother's wake-up call again."

Ron often complains about a strange clock on his wall in the dormitory.

He said there are nine golden hands on this wall clock, representing every member of the family.

There are no specific time scales on the clock face, only some places and things that need to be done.

There are various icons for home, school, work, lost person, getting off work, sleeping, etc.

As long as the pointer moves to the corresponding position of the icon, Mrs. Weasley can know the specific movements of each person.

What Ron hated most was when his hands reached the wake-up mark, because then Mrs. Weasley would call his name over and over again.

Ron had complained more than once that the pointer was definitely moving too fast.

Harry couldn't understand Ron's feelings at all. His alarm clock at Uncle Vernon's house was his uncle and aunt banging frantically on the wooden door of the stairwell.

And then there are the threats and urgings over and over again.

That was why he enjoyed lying in bed in the mornings when he came to Hogwarts.

But now Wood requires him to get up early to practice Quidditch, so he has to consider how to eliminate the "bad habit" of turning off the alarm clock in the morning.

"Okay, if Wood asks for extra practice in the morning, I'll remind you to call me the next day."

Harry came up with a great way to sleep in and still not miss Quidditch practice.

Moon didn't care about these things. In his opinion, waking someone up was just like taking two steps.

However, Moon saw Ron standing aside and still dozing off, which forced him to wake him up again.

"Ron, do you remember last time I told you to learn some minor curses?"

"You are not kidding, are you?"

Ron suddenly woke up when he heard Moon's question.

He never thought that someone would specifically want to learn the little evil spell, especially someone like Moon who wanted to devote every day to studying.

"Yes, I remember you mastered several minor curses."

"Of course!"

Hearing Moon's praise, Ron naturally agreed.

In his opinion, no one in the entire first grade, no, including the second grade, knew more about the minor evil curse than him.

As for grades three and above, that was the world of his twin brothers.

Under Moon's advice, Ron listed the five minor curses he knew.

Bat Curse

【Incisors are like sticks】

Tarantella Dance

[Tickle Curse]

【Roasted hot and spicy】

Ron's talent might have been misjudged, but he could not only utter these little curses fluently, but he could also tell when to use each one for best effect. "These are all based on experience."

Moon didn't know where these experiences came from. Anyway, on the way to the auditorium for dinner, Ron kept introducing them excitedly.

Little curses seem to be naturally attractive to young wizards.

A lot of people gathered around the Gryffindor table at breakfast time.

Among them were first-year students from Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.

After listening to it, they also provided two little evil spells that Ron didn't know.

[Leg Lock Curse]

Hairy Curse

After learning the effects of the two spells, Ron was very happy to exchange them with the other party.

It was not until almost class time that the young wizards surrounding Ron were forced to leave.

However, the influence of the lesser curse continues to grow.

After a full day of classes, Moon finished his Transfiguration homework in the library and hurried back to the lounge.

Ron was rarely surrounded by young wizards.

Gryffindor's first-year students, including Lavender Brown and Parvati Patil from the girls' dormitory, actually wanted to learn minor curses.

Even Hermione was sitting not far away. Moon noticed that although she had a book in front of her, she was listening intently to what Ron said.

"Oh, Moon is back, we can officially start now."

Seeing Moon coming out from behind the portrait, Ron couldn't wait to walk forward.

After greeting everyone, Ron immediately began his first teaching session.

"do not worry."

“Don’t be so strict, relax.”

"Who cares about its origins and history? As long as it works, that's all that matters!"

Ron's teaching was completely off the curriculum. He didn't explain the origins of spells, the pronunciation rules of spells, and even required people to swing their wands casually.

"That's right, just remember its general movements."

"The most important thing is to imagine the miserable state the other person will face after being cursed."

It wasn't until Ron said this that Hermione, who was sitting next to him, finally couldn't help it.

"Ron, spells should be rigorous! Wand waving should be standardized! Attitude should be correct!"

In Hermione's opinion, Ron was completely irresponsible and giving random orders.

"Hermione, this is my territory."

Seeing Hermione making trouble, Ron ordered her to leave.

"This is the common room, and you've been teaching for an hour, and no one has learned. Doesn't that speak volumes?"

"This only shows that there is a lack of people to practice with!" Ron argued.

"Okay, then I'll do it!"

Hermione had just agreed angrily when a noise came from the table next to her.

Bang bang bang bang.

A wooden stick figure danced on the table.

This is the first little evil spell that Moon learned tonight: [Tarantella Dance].

"You see, there's nothing wrong with my teaching methods."

Seeing the stickman dancing non-stop, Ron looked at Hermione proudly.

The little witch took a few deep breaths and sat back to her original position silently.

Moon ignored the quarrel between the two and kept observing the stick figure on the desk.

Although the method of learning the Little Evil Curse is very different, it is very easy to master.

You don't need to understand the principles behind the spell. Just follow the general movements and practice continuously and you will master it quickly.

Moreover, the duration of the minor evil curse is much longer than that of the [Petrification Curse].

It wasn't until a minute later, when Parvati and Lavender also made the stick figures dance on the table, that the effect of Moon's little evil spell gradually wore off.
