Hogwarts: Starting with full Unforgivable Curses

Chapter 158 Lucius: Did you call me here to insult me?

Chapter 158 Lucius: Did you call me here to insult me?

"Did you know Lockhart is missing?" Dumbledore's eyes fell on Dylan.

"Gone? In what sense?" Dylan asked.

"Ron was ambushed. Later, I saw a man in a black robe who called himself Karsus. He did almost nothing but just stood there, yet he frightened the serpent monster into trembling!"

Harry then spoke up to explain for Dylan.

"And, most importantly, that person actually used the Unforgivable Curse on the diary! That power is truly evil. I swear, even the dark aura emanating from Tom is far inferior to it!"

"But what's strange is that the magic light of that person is white, very holy, and evil."

Dumbledore opened his mouth, but was interrupted by Harry. He then smiled and nodded cheerfully, "I didn't know what happened last night. It was only this morning when Vera sent me a message inviting me back to Hogwarts that I learned of such a thing happening in the school."

"Karsas?" Dylan was a little surprised. "Why is he in Hogwarts?"

"Dylan, you also know Karsus?" Harry was stunned.

Why does Dylan seem to know everything?
"Well, Sister Vera was posting wanted posters in Uncle Fusco's ice cream shop, and I happened to meet her." He looked up at Vera.

Vera nodded, her chestnut hair filtered by the light and shadow, revealing a few strands of golden light. The strands of hair on her forehead swept across her brows, but they could not hide the coldness in her eyes.

"Oh, I see." Harry nodded blankly.

"And do you know anything more about him?" asked Dumbledore.

Dylan shook his head. “I just heard from Sister Vera that this person is very dangerous. If I meet him, I’d better run away quickly.”

Vera raised the corners of her lips: "Maybe you can't run away at all, but running is always right."

Dumbledore nodded and said, "I am surprised that Karsus would come to the school. Perhaps Mr. Malfoy is right. The school really should improve its protection level, otherwise many students will face the evil they should not have to face."

At this point, Dumbledore paused and looked up: "What were we talking about at the beginning?"

"Lockhart, Headmaster, you're asking where he's been," Dylan said. "So, what happened to him?"

"Let Harry talk. I called you here so that you can help me listen to Harry's adventures."

Dumbledore looked at Harry and said, "After all, he and Mr. Weasley are too active. They need a calm little wizard like you to calm them down."

A trace of embarrassment flashed across Harry's face. "It's nothing, actually. Ron and I overheard what the professors were discussing, so we went to ask Lockhart for help in order to rescue Ginny."

"I didn't expect that he is not as rumored, but a bad guy who only uses the Oblivion Spell on others!"

"Wow, that's unexpected." Dylan said calmly.

"Really? I didn't expect that." Harry wrinkled his nose and continued, "Then, he snatched Ron's wand and tried to attack me, but his own spell rebounded - you know, Ron's wand broke."

Dylan nodded.

"Then, the road was blocked by rocks, so I went to find Ginny and asked Ron to move the rocks away. But then, that Karsus appeared and took Tom and the basilisk away. When I returned, I found that Ron had been knocked unconscious."

Harry looked worried. "I'll tell the professors about this once I get him and Ginny to the infirmary. As for where Lockhart is, Ron doesn't know either."

"Maybe he knew he had no real skills and ran away early?" Dylan said.

"That's possible!" Harry suddenly perked up. "When Ron and I went to his office to look for him, he was just about to run away!"

"By the way, why did you go to Lockhart for help instead of Professor McGonagall and the others? If the professor was there, the basilisk wouldn't be able to cause any big trouble, right?" Dylan asked.

"Ah? That..." Harry was stunned. "I don't know either. At the time, I just thought I should go find Lockhart. Professor McGonagall and the others also said that Lockhart should go to the Chamber of Secrets first to rescue people."

Dylan curled his lips. "Since you overheard it, you and Ron must have heard it in the staff room. Didn't you listen to what we said afterwards? The professors said that just to get Lockhart out of the way in advance?"

The embarrassment on Harry's face deepened. He raised his hand and scratched his head. "Well, the situation was too urgent. I didn't think too much about it."

Dylan smacked his lips.

Vera took over the topic: "From the looks of it, Karsus doesn't seem to be in league with that demon king. I suspect he might want to become the Dark Lord himself!"

Dumbledore was interested. "Oh? Why do you say that?"

Vera's face was solemn. "The Ministry of Magic has been receiving more and more reports recently. It wasn't obvious at first, but now, many wizards seem to be supporting Karsus, known as the Fool, to take over and replace Voldemort as the new Dark Lord."

Dylan turned to look at her: "Sister Vera, have all the people you arrested last time been released?"

Vera nodded. "Most of them were released. They were under Karsus's Imperius Curse at the time. I don't know how he was able to use the Imperius Curse on so many people at once."

Vera spoke in a serious tone, and then sighed softly.

"So, apart from a few individuals who truly want to become followers of the Fool and have threatened to wreak havoc upon their release, we can continue to detain them. As for the others, I can't keep them in the Ministry of Magic forever. It's illegal."

"You've worked so hard," Dylan said with concern.

"No, it's not hard at all. It's just my job." Vera shook her head. "I searched the secret room last night and confirmed that there's no danger there."

"I informed the Ministry of Magic of the situation here early in the morning. Headmaster Dumbledore's transfer order was on the way back, so I invited the headmaster back in advance."

Dylan couldn't help but feel a little surprised when he heard this.

It seems that Vera has quite a bit of power in her hands.

Even though the matter was over, Old Deng would have to wait for the school board's appointment before he could resume his post. However, she took a step ahead, skipping that process and calling Old Deng back directly.

This little girl
Dylan thought, maybe—

There's no need to save Cedric?

After all, Vera gave him the feeling that he could get a promotion and a raise at any time, from an Auror to a Director, and then to the Minister of Magic.

With this connection, does he still need to rescue Cedric before contacting his father?
It's totally unnecessary!

"It's all thanks to you, otherwise I don't know how long my old bones would have to stay outside in the sun." Dumbledore said with a smile.

He didn't sense any lying in Dylan.

I couldn't get anything out of Dylan, so I had to give up.

Malfoy will be here soon.

I heard that both Malfoy and his son had conflicts with Dylan.

Don't let them touch it.

"In that case, Dylan, you might as well..."

But before he could finish his speech, Lucius pushed the door open with a sullen face.

Dumbledore raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Do you know what the password is? I don't think I had time to tell you."

"Gryffindor, I know such a stupid password without asking."

Lucius glanced at the people in the room, his eyes suddenly fixed on Dylan.

He narrowed his eyes and snorted coldly: "Why is this brat here?"

Vera looked at him and frowned somewhat displeasedly: "He is Harry's friend and an excellent student at Hogwarts. Perhaps he knows something about the Chamber of Secrets. I asked the headmaster to call him over."

Lucius glanced at Vera coldly and paused. "Look who this is, a subordinate of the head of the Auror Office. Do you think you have the right to interrupt now?"

Vera frowned even deeper, but thinking of the instructions her superiors had given her before she came, she ended up saying nothing.

Dumbledore chuckled and said, "Rufus is also an experienced and capable wizard. As the head of the Auror Office, he has solved many troubles caused by dark wizards. Perhaps Vera will soon inherit his mantle."

"Dream on!" Lucius snorted. "Even if it's just a mere office director, a little girl like this isn't qualified for the position!"

He glanced across at Harry, a gleam in his eyes.

Dylan curled his lips at this idiot.

"Malfoy——"

"What did you call me?" Lucius glared at him, "You rude fellow!"

Dylan was not flustered by his sudden scolding: "What? I mean, Malfoy's father, you should not always be so prejudiced against everyone."

"Remember Slytherin Conduct Rule 39? Respect those who love us and protect those we love. Your behavior is not what a gentleman should do."

Lucius:?

"So, do you think I will love you, or this yellow-haired girl, or you will love me?" Lucius narrowed his eyes.

"Puch!"

Harry couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Lucius glared at him again.

Dylan shrugged. "You are a very articulate gentleman."

Lucius:? ? ?

He felt a vein on his forehead that was swollen with blood and could burst at any time.

Take a deep breath.

——He knew that being called here so early must be bad news!

"Dylan, don't speak to an elder like that." Dumbledore opened his mouth and laughed without restraint, "Hahahahahahahahaha!"

Dylan looked at Old Deng innocently.

Laughing so loudly, do you think what you said has any persuasiveness?

Lucius clenched his fists, endured for a moment, and then slowly released them, maintaining his noble character.

"Humph, a new demon king is being born, Dumbledore. I heard that he even appeared in Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets last night, and you didn't notice anything."

"Yes—yes, at that time, I was locked out of Hogwarts because of the transfer order you brought."

Dumbledore nodded repeatedly, but choked back Lucius' words.
