Chapter 22 Hagrid's Referral
Chapter 22 Hagrid's Referral
"..."
Dylan didn't comment on what these little brats said.
If simply asking a teacher for advice can be considered brave, then Harry and the others were right.
"Hopefully, Professor Snape will be in his office over the weekend as well."
After returning home in the evening, he still had to take some time to sort out his confusion about Potions.
Therefore, he decided to wait until the weekend to bother Snape.
As for the afternoon, he had other things to do.
Walk out of the classroom with Harry and Ron.
His eyes fell on Harry.
"Are you ready to go now?"
During breakfast, he and Harry agreed to go to Hagrid's hut together after class to find him.
Harry's stomach growled as soon as he finished speaking.
"Uh, I plan to go after dinner."
Harry was exhausted from today's Potions class and was eager to stuff something into his mouth.
"Okay, it looks like you're hungry." Dylan nodded.
Harry showed a helpless expression: "God knows what it feels like to be stared at by Professor Snape all the time. My back has been straight all day."
Dylan smiled and went to the Great Hall with Ron, Harry and the others.
After a meal.
Harry also felt more energetic, and Ron seemed to come alive.
When he heard that Dylan was planning to go find Hagrid, he also clamored to go with them.
Dylan naturally had no other opinions.
Several people left Hogwarts Castle and headed towards Hagrid's hut.
"Hey, big guy, we're here to see you!"
Before he even reached the door, Ron started yelling.
"Oh, it's you little wizards."
When Hagrid saw Harry, he warmly welcomed them into the house.
"Have you eaten yet? I have some rock cakes here, they are delicious, you can try them."
Hagrid brought a plate of pancakes that looked like rocks from the table.
"We've had our meal, but you can have some dessert."
Ron was the first to pick up a piece of rock cake and put it in his mouth.
"Gao"
hiss!
Ron's eyes suddenly widened.
He felt like his teeth were about to be bitten off!
"Why is this pancake so hard?"
Harry also picked up a piece out of curiosity and bit it for a long time, but he didn't eat a single bite. He just bit off a little bit of the crust crumbs.
"Oh my God, is this pancake made with a Hardening Charm? I want to learn the Shattering Charm right now, immediately!" Ron exclaimed.
Dylan did learn this spell, but he was not very proficient in it. He just had some understanding of it and was just getting started.
Faced with the big pancake on the table, Dylan didn't move.
Therefore, he naturally didn't have to deal with a pancake and could only drool all over it and then try to break it into pieces.
"Sorry, I'm still chewing it."
Hagrid scratched his head and suddenly remembered that this biscuit was not something that an ordinary little wizard could chew.
"If you really can't finish it, then let Yaya eat it. Although magic can heal injuries, it's never worthwhile to break your teeth."
Harry immediately tossed the biscuit to Fang.
Ron still wanted to continue fighting against the rock cake.
Fang ate Harry's rock cake and ran to Dylan, waving his tail like a whip.
Dylan just patted its big head.
Seeing that there was no food, Yaya ran to Ron again.
It shuttled back and forth between several people, with its tongue hanging down, gasping for breath, and making a wheezing sound.
His sturdy limbs took uncoordinated steps, and from time to time he would bump into the sofa where several people were sitting because he ran too fast.
Ron finally gave up on confronting the rock cake and secretly gave the cake to Yaya.
Hagrid went to pour a glass of water for a few people, and turned around to see Fang's performance.
He laughed heartily: "It seems that Yaya likes you very much. You can play with it more."
After bringing the water to a few people.
Dylan thanked him.
Hagrid was also sitting nearby. He took a long breath and looked at Ron with a hint of regret.
"I'm so happy to see you getting along so well with Fang. It reminds me of your brother Charlie, who treats magical creatures much better than other wizards."
Ron blinked. "What about Fred and the others?"
Hagrid's face suddenly wrinkled into a ball: "Don't mention it, these two naughty guys!"
After Yaya finished eating the pancake, Harry started playing with him.
Dylan also took the opportunity to say to Hagrid: "Sir, I have something to ask of you."
Hagrid turned around in surprise.
He had heard Professor McGonagall mention Dylan's reputation several times.
This is a very spiritual little wizard. I heard that even Snape was so annoyed by him in the morning that he lost his temper.
It was the first time he had seen a young wizard being able to deal with Snape!
Now this little wizard suddenly came to him and made a request.
Did he want to ask him about his knowledge of magical beasts?
Hagrid sat up straighter as he wondered if he could also experience what it was like to be a professor.
"You said."
Dylan smiled and said, "I love magical creatures, so I've been thinking about raising a Shadow as a pet."
"But I heard that this requires a breeding license, so I was wondering if you could write a letter of guarantee for me?"
Hagrid raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"Wu Ying? They are indeed a group of cuties. You have good taste."
He thought for a moment and nodded. "No problem. I'll write a letter of guarantee and send it to the Office for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures in a moment. With my referral, they'll review it quickly."
"Thank you! My name is Dylan Hawkwood."
"I know your name. You're a very clever little wizard who has taken up many professors' break time. Hahaha~"
Hagrid laughed heartily.
Hearing this, Dylan just pursed his lips and smiled slightly.
"So Dylan, you went to Hagrid because you wanted to raise a magical creature?"
Fang ran over to Dylan, and Harry looked over, "I don't even know what a shadow is."
"It's a creature that looks a bit like a black cat."
Dylan thought of the cold eyes of his little coal ball and added another sentence.
“Very cute.”
Harry nodded without a doubt.
Hagrid didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with the sullen-looking Black Shadow.
He was about to say something, but Harry asked him, "During Potions class today, I felt like Professor Snape seemed to be really dissatisfied with me."
Hagrid's eyes flickered and his smile faded.
"Oh, him, Professor Snape is just like that. He never has a good face towards anyone except Headmaster Dumbledore."
Dylan noticed Hagrid's mood change, as if he was deliberately avoiding talking to Harry about Snape.
Of course he wouldn't say anything more at this time. After all, he was still counting on others to write a letter of guarantee and recommendation for him.
