Durin's Diary

Chapter 259 Conflict

Chapter 259 Conflict
"Find someone else to accompany you to the market today. The sisters are waiting for me to host the new cake salon."

Early on Sunday morning, Tanya rejected Du Lin's invitation.

Ever since she learned several tricks from Du Lin, Tanya has become the most popular person in her circle of sisters - because the cakes she makes are delicious.

However, as compensation, the girl lowered her head and hit Du Lin hard in the face.

"I'll bring cakes for everyone when I come back in the evening." The girl said and left home.

Du Lin wiped off the lipstick mark calmly, then looked at the rabbit and the wolf who were doing their homework... No, I can't let them be idle, they must study hard.

Then the next optional targets are only Alyssa and Astrid.

Forget it, only children make choices: "Alyssa, Astrid, you accompany me to the market."

The little deer girl immediately stood up from the fire. She pulled Astrid, who was reluctant to go out, and the three of them put on their coats and walked out of the house.

Astrid, do you usually like to read by the fire?

Du Lin looked at the girl who was still a little unhappy.

The latter nodded and said, "Yeah, I don't like going out much. People look at me weirdly. They all treat me like a commodity instead of a person."

This sentence made Du Lin silent, but Alyssa smiled happily: "No, the only difference between us in this life is who we marry."

Just as Du Lin was about to say something more profound, he saw Astrid nodding with a smile: "Mr. Du Lin is the first boy who treats me as a life rather than a commodity."

Du Lin reached out and rubbed the girl's head: "Don't mention those unhappy things."

After saying that, he handed the white-faced owl in the cold-proof bag to the girl.

"Mr. Durin's pets are all so cute." Astrid said happily as she took the white-faced owl and played with it. "Copenhagen isn't as bad as everyone says."

I got on the tram and traveled all the way to the market. Maybe because it was Sunday, or maybe because it was very cold today, the market was much quieter than the previous times Dulin came here.

Alyssa took Astrid to the pet area, while Durin came to the area where various so-called old machines were sold.

It's all fake. The energy box was actually produced last week. It uses metal parts for weights. You can't understand it unless you take it apart. If I had hands, I would have slapped this guy to death on the wall.

After seeing the first stall, Daju started complaining.

Du Lin smiled and prepared to leave.

"All the stuff on my stall are good stuff. What do you mean?" The half-dragon hybrid sitting at the stall shouted dissatisfiedly.

Du Lin didn't say much. He grabbed the energy box with his mage hand and broke it open, revealing the metal parts inside. "You dare to ask for 500 for this thing? What are you talking about? I think you've had enough of life."

After saying that, Du Lin pointed to the pond not far away.

The dragon man turned and ran, then jumped into the pool in full view of everyone, successfully using his own weight to crush the not-so-thick ice and successfully entered the water.

The dark-skinned Highlander sitting in the middle of the market laughed heartily.

Even the extraordinary people in charge of public security turned a blind eye to this, and the people setting up stalls immediately understood - no one who set up a stall here to sell old items was an idiot.

So when Du Lin came to the second stall, the dwarf pointed at a few items on the stall and said, "Please take a look at these."

This is almost saying that these few items should be true, and you should not look at the others to avoid dirtying your eyes.

That's fine, now that he's figured it out, Durin identified them - the first one was similar to the hilt of the sword that Alyssa used to make the magic object. Daju scanned it and found that there was even a usable part inside.

But the laser sword was still too delicate, and there was no telling when the parts would break. So Du Lin nodded and said, "The first item is real. You wait for the right person."

Then came the second item, a box with a nuclear symbol printed on it. If Daju hadn't repeatedly confirmed the Geiger number, Du Lin would have run away with the girl right now. "It's real, but it wasn't what was inside it before. Don't open it if you don't want to. Don't hurt your family members. Maybe even magic won't be able to heal them."

"Okay." The dwarf nodded quickly.

The third item was a retractable stick, a police baton: "It's the real deal, wait for the right person."

The dwarf smiled happily.

The fourth item, Daju immediately called out: "Universal reading plug-in, this is it!"

"It's genuine, how much is it?" Du Lin is not a stingy person.

"This is for you. I'm Zhuke, from the Sheben clan in the south. You can also call me Little Hammer."

The dwarf patted his chest. "Okay, Zhuke, I like your gift very much. If you have any business problems in the future, you can come to 411 Fanlin to find me." After that, Du Lin took the universal reading plug-in from the dwarf Zhuke.

Then Du Lin helped identify several stalls, but none of them had what Daju wanted.

The remaining stall owners were a little evasive, and Du Lin knew that they didn't have any real weapons, so he just smiled and passed them by.

When going to find his girl, Durin passed by the dark-skinned man, who was lighting a fire at that time. The half-dragon who had just jumped into the lake looked at Durin with awe - he had never been charmed before, and today he suffered a huge setback.

Du Lin stretched out his hand, and the tiger sitting under the chair came out very obediently and put its chin in the palm of Du Lin's hand.

"So good." Du Lin stroked the tiger and greeted the big black man.

The latter nodded respectfully and said, "Young Master, you haven't been here for a few days."

"I was bored today, so I came here with the girl to take a look. Look, I just found something useful." Du Lin showed the universal reading plug-in in his hand.

"I go first."

"You walk slowly."

After the conversation ended, Du Lin just took a step forward when he heard a gunshot.

Then he saw a black wolf being chased by his own Kal'tsit.

Durin blew a whistle, and Kal'tsit stopped chasing. The lynx girl with blood in her mouth and wounds on her body ran to Durin.

Du Lin cast a healing spell on it and pointed behind him. The black wolf with its tail between its legs was also healed - at least its torn tail was regenerated.

Then he returned to the scene with his own lynx.

One of Alyssa’s horns was broken, and there was blood at the corner of her mouth.

Her opponent wasn't having a good time either. The left half of his face was swollen, and there were several teeth on the ground.

A young man holding a gun.

It seems that Kal'tsit bravely fought three wolves, and the other two wolves are now lying on the ground. One's spine has been bitten off, and the other's head has been gouged out. They are both in a state of exhaling more than inhaling.

"What's going on?" Du Lin stood up.

Although it looked like a little girl pulling out her hair, which was not a big deal, the girl whose horn was broken was his own, and since a gunshot was heard, Du Lin had to take care of it.

"Where did you come from, bastard!" screamed the girl with the swollen face.

Du Lin was stunned. He looked at the young boys and pointed at her: "Do you care?"

"When girls fight, we boys should stay out of it, okay?" the young man holding the gun laughed.

Durin turned and looked at Astrid.

"Please don't let any blood show. You can do whatever you want." Astrid replied slightly angrily.

"Okay." Du Lin nodded with a smile.

"You two bastards! Beat him up!" the girl cursed.

It's really noisy.

Thinking of this, Du Lin stretched out his hand.

No bloodshed, that's easy, just use petrification to deal with it.

Several boys turned into stone statues in an instant.

Du Lin quickly walked up to the girl, raised his left hand and hit her on the right cheek.

I usually don't hit women unless I really can't help it.

Today is a good day, so I couldn't help myself.

The girl turned her head, and the remaining teeth fled.
