Durin's Diary

Chapter 262: Unbreakable

Chapter 262: Unbreakable

I went home and checked my mailbox, and there were only three letters.

The first one was from Party A, bah, no, it was a letter from Mr. Romeo Auditore, who said that he would visit Turin in the next few days to learn about the progress of the film.

The storyboards for Assassin's Creed have all been completed. All that's left is to go over the shots in my mind and then do some optimization. It should be done in about three months.

If we work hard, we might even be able to catch the Lunar New Year box office next year. I just don't know what the cinema chain that Mr. Romeo Auditore mentioned will be like.

Thinking of this, Du Lin looked at the second letter.

It was sent by the old Duke of Alessano, Weiss. The old Duke invited Dulin to Alessano for a gathering and said that Dulin could come anytime.

It's interesting. What does this old guy want to do?

However, considering that this was a favor after all, Du Lin decided to write a letter during the New Year holiday. Anyway, the new movie was about to be released, and he would go to Farol to play during the time - I heard that the south of Farol can still be as warm as spring during the New Year.

The third letter was from Old Wolf, who said he was heading to the small town of St. George, which is located in the north of the Great Wilderness, at the border of the Great Woodland.

Okay, Du Lin remembered it.

Back in the room, Du Lin saw Lina. The little female dragon was surrounding Alyssa. She looked at her sawed-off antlers with a broken heart and said, "If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have gone home today. I could have transformed right there and killed all those guys."

"It's okay, she just sneaked up on me. She can't beat me normally." Alyssa said this and touched her horn. "But you, if you were here, it would be troublesome if you really beat them to death. They are the Rovlin family, the second of the four great dukes, only slightly weaker than Tanya's grandfather."

"But he seems quite reasonable," said Du Lin.

"Old Duke Rovlin is indeed reasonable. He has a good relationship with Tanya's grandfather, but that girl named Ina..." Alyssa and Dulin talked about why Astrid and Ina became enemies.

·What a fucking boring reason. Jealous women are truly terrifying. But then again, this is the first time I’ve seen you hit a woman. I thought you were a complete gentleman.

Yes, I am indeed very gentle when killing female targets. Whenever possible, I will not chop off their heads or limbs. I will try my best to leave their bodies intact and let them go in a dignified way. So I slapped that girl because I was really angry.

Having said that, Du Lin looked at Alyssa.

I almost lost Alyssa because of one girl's ridiculous jealousy.

Astrid seemed to sense something and sat down next to Durin. "I will never provoke Ina again. I didn't know she could be so crazy."

“It’s her fault, not yours,” Alyssa said quickly.

Du Lin nodded and said, "Jealousy is one of the seven sins mentioned by the original creator. People should face their own weaknesses, understand their own shortcomings, and change themselves." At this point, Du Lin patted Alyssa's head and said, "Let's not act separately when we go out in the future."

"Okay." The girls responded loudly.

Later that night, Tanya came back. The girl brought new information about the Rovlin family. The old Duke Rovlin went to the Alkin Mansion in person. He mentioned what had just happened to the Duke of Alkin and gave him a sum of money as an apology for his granddaughter's wanton insults to the Duke's heir.

I also hope that Lord Du Lin will not bear grudges against me.

The old man offered eight thousand gold pounds, and Durin was too embarrassed to argue with the girl. "The Loughlin family is home to many sorcerers and wizards, with a few bards as well. Aina is a mutant; she has no talent for spellcasting, which is why she's at odds with Astrid. You knocked out all her teeth this time. I bet when her teeth grow back, her screams will be heard across Copenhagen."

Tanya smiled and kissed Du Lin as she said this. "Well done! I'd do the same thing if I were there. She even dared to walk around the market with a gun without a license. I heard that even His Majesty Robert heard about it. He was very angry and said he would send Aina to a monastery for half a month to teach her a lesson."

"That's fine." Du Lin nodded and gave him a look.

Not long after Du Lin went upstairs to start working, Tan Ya came up.

"What's the matter?" she asked.

"I've met your new acting secretary. I asked him to go find someone at the embassy. Business on this line should be restarted, but the new ambassador probably won't be shipping much in the near future. After all, we still don't know who killed him, and the Eastern Elf Territory doesn't want two ambassadors dying in the same year. It would be too embarrassing."

"I understand, but I haven't contacted the new acting secretary. Now I'm the only one here. Your father asked me to go undercover when he left. Without his order, I can only stay by your side." After Tan Ya finished speaking, she dragged the soft sofa and sat next to Du Lin.

"What will you do in the future?" Du Lin asked.

"I think it's pretty good to be your woman and eat your food. Following you means I can watch good movies and listen to wonderful music. I can also help the Northernists and steal some new gun blueprints from you." When she said this, Tanya laughed.

Du Lin smiled and shook his head: "Don't steal it. If it really comes to that, I will draw it for you myself."

"Then it's settled." After saying that, Tanya leaned forward and kissed Du Lin on the cheek: "Don't ever forget the oath you made."

"Don't worry, I won't forget." After saying that, Du Lin looked at the girl in front of him, smiled and patted her on the back: "Our vows will last forever."

"Well, I believe you, but I have to go down. I just told Astrid that I would teach her how to bake a cake."

"...Forget it, I won't work today. I'll spend a good weekend with you guys."

After saying that, Du Lin followed Tan Ya downstairs.

Then he saw the little bear in Astrid's arms. The latter curiously wanted to touch the white-faced owl with her claws, while his Hemer was looking at a bear cub that was not aware of its own life or death.

Kal'tsit was sitting by the fire, eating the snack that Xia Li had prepared for her. Xia Li was very happy after hearing about Kal'tsit's heroic deeds.

Looking at the girls in the living room on the first floor, Du Lin was in a trance, feeling as if he had seen all this a long time ago.

He was just a child at that time.

The students in the tower always get together in the lobby on the first floor.

At that time, every child was like a brother and sister, and they imagined the future together.

so good.
