Peninsula: I'm the Top Streamer
Chapter 697 The Plan? Slightly tipsy.
Chapter 697 The Plan? Slightly tipsy.
The deafening roar of the encore chants still echoed in the stadium, and pink light sticks continued to be waved.
Kwon Hyun-hyuk tilted his head slightly and raised his voice a little in Tzuyu's ear.
"Is it about time we left? There will be too many people leaving later."
His voice was drowned out by the cheers, but his lip movements and gestures were clear enough for Chou Tzu-yu to see clearly.
Chou Tzu-yu immediately understood, nodded, and had a slight smile on her lips, a smile that was parted from the atmosphere.
The two stood up in unison, and under the guidance of Park Jung-jung and his assistant, taking advantage of the moment before the final encore song ended and before all the lights came on, they bent over and quickly left the audience seats along the reserved passage, their figures soon disappearing into the side corridor leading to the backstage.
The backstage area was even busier and noisier than before the show started.
The backup dancers were dragging their soaked clothes and prop boxes away, while staff members communicated with walkie-talkies. The air was still filled with the mixed smell of hairspray and the lingering stage smoke.
"Over here, Xuanhe-xi, Ziyu-xi."
A female staff member wearing a name tag approached them, clearly having been notified beforehand, and led them to a relatively quiet corner—near the main passageway where the artists exited the stage.
"Jisoo unnie should be coming down soon."
Chou Tzu-yu said softly, her gaze fixed on the brightly lit stage, where huge cheers and curtain calls were coming from.
"Yeah, almost there," Quan Xuanhe replied, taking off his mask and leaning against the wall.
The backstage area was brightly lit. Chou Tzu-yu stood quietly half a step away from him, took off her mask, and gently tidied her slightly messy hair.
Not long after, a more rapid series of footsteps and excited shouts came from the main passage.
Kim Jisoo and the other members walked down the street surrounded by their fellow members, managers, and assistants, as if they were being swept up in a wave of heat.
Her stage makeup shone even brighter with sweat, a few strands of hair clung to her forehead, and her face showed both post-performance excitement and obvious fatigue.
"Bravo! Perfect." The agent clapped his hands.
Kim Jisoo smiled and gave a high-five to the person next to her, slightly out of breath, as she walked and untied the intricate decorations on her performance costume. Her gaze shifted, and she immediately saw the two people waiting for her.
"Oh? You came down so quickly?" Her eyes lit up, and she quickened her pace, walking directly towards them with undisguised joy on her face.
"How is it?" Sweat trickled down her chin, and she casually wiped it away with the back of her hand.
"That was amazing, unnie! You really got me fired up!" Chou Tzu-yu exclaimed with a sweet smile.
"An absolute audio-visual feast." Quan Xuanhe nodded with a smile, his tone sincere. "His condition was perfect."
Kim Jisoo's smile widened, and she raised her chin with a hint of smugness.
Seeing her smiling so happily, Kwon Heonhyuk stopped commenting on how clumsy she was at dancing, like a novice.
"Of course! This has been prepared for a long time." She suddenly remembered something and immediately reached out to the side.
"Let's take a group photo! To remember this moment."
Her assistant quickly handed her the phone. Without saying a word, Kim Jisoo grabbed Zhou Ziyu's wrist with one hand and naturally linked her other arm with Kwon Heonhyuk's, pulling them closer to her to form a tight trio.
"Come closer." Kim Jisoo held her phone high in one hand, adjusted the angle, and leaned back slightly to frame the three people's faces in the viewfinder.
She still carried the heat of the stage and a faint fragrance.
Kwon Hyun-hyuk leaned forward slightly in agreement, while Tzuyu stood on the other side of Jisoo, her arm linked with his. She also showed a gentle and generous smile, her cheeks slightly flushed with excitement and close contact.
"1, 2, 3..."
Kim Jisoo pressed the shutter button and snapped several photos in quick succession.
She looked down and quickly scrolled through the group photos on the screen.
"Hmm! This one is good, the lighting is perfect, and the three of us look great." She nodded in satisfaction, her tone light and cheerful.
"I'm really happy that you could come to my concert. I'm in a great mood."
She handed her phone to her assistant, then patted Kwon Heonhyuk and Chou Tzuyu on the shoulders with both hands.
"Let's have dinner together after this is over. Do you have anything else to do?" she said in a light tone, her gaze sweeping over the two of them.
"I know a good Korean beef restaurant nearby, it should still be open at this time."
Chou Tzu-yu nodded obediently, her face bearing her usual gentle smile: "Yes, I can."
She looked at Quan Xuanhe with a questioning look in her eyes.
Quan Xuanhe naturally had no reason to object. He shrugged and laughed, "Alright, I don't have anything else to do anyway. Watching you sing and dance, I felt quite exhausted." He teased.
Kim Jisoo rolled her eyes at him.
"Wait for me a moment, I'll change my clothes quickly."
After saying that, she walked quickly towards the waiting room, surrounded by her assistant and stylist.
Kwon Hyun-hyuk and Chou Tzu-yu were waiting for her there again.
The noise backstage gradually subsided, and the staff began to tidy up the stage and props in an orderly manner, leaving only the sound of footsteps and whispers.
Kim Jisoo's movements were indeed swift.
Not long after, she reappeared, having removed her heavy stage makeup and changed into a comfortable casual outfit, a loose sweatshirt and sweatpants, and all her makeup was gone.
Her long hair was casually tied up, and she shed her dazzling stage presence, exuding a lazy and carefree vibe, which had a unique charm.
"Let's go!" she waved, indicating to her assistant that they didn't need to come for lunch.
"We'll go there ourselves."
Without saying much, the three of them tacitly headed towards another exit of the employee passage.
Kim Jisoo skillfully led them around the area where fans might gather, and they quickly got into a low-key black SUV.
"You drive."
Jisoo handed him the car keys and, without a word, made him the driver. Tzuyu and Jisoo sat together in the back seat.
What more can I say about my two women? It's understandable that Jisoo is tired after just finishing a concert, and Tzuyu doesn't have a driver's license yet, so let her be the driver.
The car smoothly entered the traffic of Seoul late at night.
Soft music filled the car, isolating it from the outside noise. Kim Jisoo chatted casually about some anecdotes from the concert while driving, and Kwon Heonhyuk and Chou Tzuyu responded appropriately.
The conversation was lighthearted, reflecting a rare moment of relaxation after work.
Kim Jisoo was indeed in a good mood at this moment.
Even after the concert, I was still excited and hadn't had enough. Although I was tired, I was in high spirits.
Having tens of thousands of people cheering and applauding for you on stage is truly a captivating feeling.
Following the navigation, the car eventually stopped at the back door of a barbecue restaurant that didn't look particularly impressive.
Kim Jisoo led them into the barbecue restaurant and they sat down right in the lobby.
"Please sit down, don't be shy," Kim Jisoo invited. "The Korean beef here is specially supplied by the owner, it's very good, and they also have a secret sauce."
The three of them took their seats.
Kim Jisoo asked the two if they had any favorite dishes, and then skillfully ordered, appearing efficient and decisive.
Korean beef, beef tongue, pork belly, kimchi soup, and a few refreshing side dishes.
"drink wine?"
Kim Jisoo took the initiative to ask about the two of them.
"I'm not drinking anymore. Don't you have another show tomorrow?"
Seeing this, Kwon Heonhyuk said to Kim Jisoo.
"You two can drink, I won't."
Jisoo smiled and shook her head, then turned to look at Tzuyu with a bright smile.
"it is good."
Just as Kwon Heonhyuk was about to say something, Chou Tzuyu nodded in confirmation.
Kwon Hyeon-hyuk was speechless.
The baking pan quickly heated up, and the sizzling sound of oil hitting the hot plate, along with the enticing aroma, instantly whetted the appetite.
Kim Jisoo picked up the tongs and took the initiative to grill the meat, her movements quite skillful.
"Thank you so much, Jisoo. You still have to serve us after the performance."
Kwon Hyun-hyuk watched her grill the meat and casually handed Zhou Ziyu some lettuce and perilla leaves.
"Tch, actually I just wanted Tzuyu to eat better."
Jisoo placed the first piece of grilled beef rib onto Tzuyu's plate.
"Try it, this part is the best." Then she picked up another piece and gave it to Quan Xuanhe, "You try it."
"Kamsammida, unnie." Chou Tzu-yu thanked her with a smile, wrapped the meat in lettuce, and ate it in small bites, her eating manners refined.
After a few bites of hot meat, the warmth and satisfaction dispelled the slight chill of the late autumn night, and the atmosphere became more relaxed and natural.
Kim Jisoo put down the clips and wrapped a lettuce-wrapped meat dish for herself. As she ate, she asked, "How are your schedules going lately? Will you be very busy later?"
Her gaze shifted between Kwon Hyun-hyuk and Chou Tzu-yu.
“My film shoot is going smoothly, the intensity isn’t too bad, and I have time to catch my breath,” Kwon Heonhyuk said, taking a sip of ice water. Tzuyu swallowed her food and nodded. “I don’t have many schedules coming up. Is your next project an overseas tour?” she asked Jisoo.
"Yes, I'm flying to North America next week."
Kwon Hyun-hyuk poured himself a glass of soju and then poured one for Chou Tzu-yu.
Kim Jisoo glanced at it, then looked down at her own cup: "I'll just drink water."
The sizzling oil on the baking tray was jumping and the aroma was wonderful.
Kim Jisoo took a sip of water, her gaze seemingly casually sweeping across Kwon Heonhyuk's face before returning to Chou Tzuyu, and began to probe in a casual tone.
“Speaking of which,” Kim Jisoo said, turning the slightly curled, charred beef tongue with tongs.
Tzuyu was sipping her kimchi soup when she heard this. She raised her clear eyes and looked quietly at Jisoo, waiting for her to continue.
"Did you see the photos of Miyeon and Yoo Jimin from that day?" Kim Jisoo looked up, her gaze falling directly on Kwon Heonhyuk's face, a cryptic smile playing on her lips, seemingly just curious, yet also tinged with a hint of inquiry.
She wanted to bring it up in front of Tzuyu so that Kwon Seonhyuk wouldn't always avoid answering.
"The two of them sat together eating, chatting and laughing. The atmosphere seemed really nice. I thought the Challenge shoot was quite interesting, but I didn't expect them to be such good friends in private. It's really surprising."
She picked up the slice of grilled beef tongue and placed it on Ziyu's plate.
"Why did you become so close to Miyeon so quickly?"
Quan Xuanhe stuffed the wrapped lettuce and meat roll into his mouth, swallowed the food slowly, and picked up his water glass to take a sip.
He knows exactly what Kim Jisoo means.
"Can you please stop trying to get to the bottom of things like this?"
"Oh, I can't answer what you want to ask."
He just laid it all out and stopped pretending.
Kim Jisoo raised an eyebrow, clearly dissatisfied with this perfunctory answer.
She put down the clips, leaned forward slightly, rested her elbows on the edge of the table, propped her chin up, and stared intently at Quan Xuanhe, her tone carrying a hint of coquettish dissatisfaction.
"Hey, why aren't you saying anything? What are you trying to do?"
Quan Xuanhe looked at her coquettish yet dissatisfied expression, insisting on getting to the bottom of things, and felt both amused and a bit overwhelmed.
He shrugged, giving me an innocent look that said I knew nothing, his tone remaining calm and steady.
"Otherwise what? Kim Jisoo-ssi,"
"They always try to lead me to say dangerous things."
Kim Jisoo was taken aback by his unyielding attitude. Her beautiful brows furrowed, and she glared at him with a hint of girlish annoyance.
Seeing the two of them arguing, Chou Tzu-yu looked around, looking bewildered, and then silently lowered her head to eat.
Kwon Hyun-hyuk looked at Kim Ji-soo, who was still angry, picked up the tongs, took a large piece of perfectly grilled pork belly, and put it into the empty plate in front of Kim Ji-soo.
"Singer Jin, you've had a long night. Eat some meat to replenish your energy. Don't think about those trivial things. Look how tired you are."
He tried to ease the tension with food, his tone somewhat coaxing.
Kim Jisoo raised an eyebrow.
Kim Jisoo glanced at the glistening pork belly on the plate, then glared at him. In the end, she couldn't hold back any longer, and the corners of her mouth turned up slightly. She picked up a lettuce leaf and muttered to herself.
"Who cares... I have a concert tomorrow, I can't eat fatty meat."
"Khun cha na khun cha na".
At this moment, Chou Tzu-yu spoke up. Seeing that the atmosphere between the two was not good, she took the initiative to step forward, looked left and right at the two of them, and put on a cautious and easing smile.
"If Unnie won't eat it, I will."
Chou Tzu-yu picked up her chopsticks, blinked, and gave a cautious, awkward smile.
"Don't be angry, let's talk slowly."
She looked at Kim Jisoo, then turned to Kwon Heonhyuk, wrinkling her nose at him to tell him not to be so rude to Kim Jisoo.
Seeing this, Quan Xuanhe simply shrugged.
Kim Jisoo was speechless at Kwon Heonhyuk's attitude, but as she watched him pour wine for Chou Tzuyu, a thought suddenly popped into her head.
Her beautiful eyes darted around, and an idea came to her.
As she spoke, she leaned forward with remarkable ease, took the soju glass from Quan Xuanhe's hand, and filled it to the brim without a word, the clear liquid almost overflowing.
Then, she picked up Chou Tzu-yu's cup and filled it to the brim as well.
"Come on, to thank you for coming to support me, and to celebrate the success of my concert."
Kim Jisoo raised her glass of ice water, her smile dazzlingly bright, radiating an unusual enthusiasm.
"cheers."
Quan Xuanhe raised an eyebrow at her, his eyes knowingly conveying what tricks she was up to now.
Chou Tzu-yu was a little confused, but seeing that her unnie was in such high spirits and thanking her, she obediently picked up her glass of soju, which was almost overflowing.
"That seems like too much."
"It's okay, just drink a little bit."
Kim Jisoo urged.
Quan Xuanhe chuckled; her little scheme was practically written all over her face.
He wasn't intimidated by the amount of alcohol, but he felt her move was a bit childish and clumsy.
He picked up his glass and slowly clinked it against Kim Jisoo's glass: "Okay, thank you for your hard work, Kim Jisoo. Toast to you."
He raised his head and drank it all in one gulp.
The spicy liquid slid down his throat, bringing a slight burning sensation, but for someone with a good alcohol tolerance, it didn't even make him slightly tipsy.
Seeing that the two of them had drunk, Chou Tzu-yu held up her small glass, tilted her head back, and poured the liquid into her mouth.
She drank a little too quickly, and a small trickle of clear liquor ran down the corner of her mouth and down her fair neck.
After one glass, the tips of her ears seemed to turn pink, her eyes instantly became misty, and even her breath carried a slight smell of alcohol.
"Ha..." Zhou Ziyu put down the empty cup, unconsciously fanning herself with her small hand, trying to dispel the burning sensation in her throat, her voice becoming softer and sweeter.
"It's a little spicy..."
Jisoo filled Tzuyu's cup again.
"Here, have some meat to calm your nerves." She thoughtfully placed several pieces of grilled meat on Zhou Ziyu's plate, then turned her attention back to Quan Xuanhe with a clear objective.
She herself took a large gulp of water as a symbolic gesture, as if she were also drinking with them.
Jisoo wants to take control of the pace from now on.
Tzuyu is naturally docile, and with her closeness to Jisoo and the relaxation of having Kwon Hyeonhyuk present, she couldn't resist taking small sips from her unnie's constant chatter, almost emptying her cup completely.
She has a low alcohol tolerance, and after a few drinks, her reactions slowed down noticeably.
Her eyes grew increasingly unfocused, as if veiled by the misty rain of Jiangnan, and she looked at people with a hazy smile.
He spoke even slower, and his body felt weak; several times he almost poked the meat off the plate when trying to pick it up.
Kwon Hyun-hyuk saw it clearly. Every time Kim Ji-soo tried to get him drunk, he would calmly deal with it. He would drink, but he would never overindulge, maintaining a sober and slightly tipsy state.
He focused more on caring about Chou Tzu-yu's condition and his girlfriend, even though she was his ex, but in reality, there wasn't much difference.
Watching her go from blushing to having a dazed look, then sipping her water glass in an attempt to sober up, only to nearly knock it over because her hand was too weak, he felt both helpless and amused.
What is this for?
Quan Xuanhe subtly moved the cups and saucers that were easily knocked over next to her, and gently brushed the stray hairs that had fallen onto her cheek behind her ear.
"Jisoo, that's enough." Kwon Heonhyuk finally spoke, gesturing to Chou Tzuyu, who was clearly low on energy.
Chou Tzu-yu was trying hard to open her eyes wide to look at them as they spoke, but her gaze was completely unfocused, and her head was nodding off like a very sleepy kitten.
Upon hearing this, Kim Jisoo followed his gaze and finally noticed Chou Tzu-yu's condition.
Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes were watery and confused, and she was hugging her own arms.
"Uh……"
Kim Jisoo froze, glancing at the completely dazed Chou Tzu-yu, then at Kwon Hyun-hyuk, whose eyes were clear.
Instead of getting any information out of Quan Xuanhe, they managed to knock Ziyu down.
Kim Jisoo opened her mouth as if to say something, but in the end, it only turned into a sigh.
Kwon Hyun-hyuk shook his head, reached out and gently patted Tzuyu's shoulder, his voice very soft and gentle.
"Tzuyu? Are you sleepy? We should go back."
Zhou Ziyu mumbled a sleepy "hmm," like a little animal being stroked, and subconsciously rubbed against the direction of Quan Xuanhe, the source of the sound, mumbling something that no one could understand.
Seeing this scene and then looking at Kwon Heonhyuk's expression, Kim Jisoo lost her temper and could only wave to the waiter to pay the bill.
Kwon Hyun-hyuk carefully helped the half-asleep Chou Tzu-yu up, preparing to take the drunken little bunny home.
