Chapter 41 Strange Patterns on the Wall
The moment his fingertips touched the thick fog, Lynn Hall discovered that the fog in front of him had solidified and turned into a barrier with a glass-like texture.

And the moment Lin En touched him, those blood-red eyes suddenly came up.

Seeing this, Sean and Alice immediately prepared to shoot, but were stopped by Lynn who raised his hand.

Sure enough, those strange eyes became motionless after touching the barrier formed by the thick fog.

Seeing this scene, Lin En nodded slightly. It was exactly as he had guessed.

The reason why the county police officer was not attacked last night was because the owner of the eyes was blocked by a barrier!
However, how all this came about is still unknown.

Moreover, is this thick fog barrier meant to prevent people like us from entering, or to prevent them from coming out?

Alice came to Lin En with her weapon in hand, looked at the countless eyes, then reached out and touched the barrier.

"oops"

Alice retracted her hand the moment it touched the barrier and looked at Lin En and said, "Boss, the mist has turned solid and is carrying electricity. Why didn't you tell me?"

"Current?"

Hearing Alice say this, Lynn frowned.

When I touched it just now, I didn't feel any electric shock.

He stretched out his hand again and tried, but still didn't feel any electric shock.

Sean, who was standing by, also reached out and tried it, but he wasn't shocked either.

Looking at the expressions of the two people, Alice was a little confused.

Unconvinced, he stretched out his hand and continued to test it, but another electric current bounced him away.

Seeing this scene, Lin En waved behind him, and soon the other men came over.

Following Lynn's instructions, the others tried it one by one.

Except for a few women in the Ministry of Information, other male agents did not feel shocked.

"FUXX, this fog-like thing is actually sexist?"

Alice stretched out her hand and raised her middle finger towards the mist barrier, then turned back to the camp in disappointment.

"Sean, have everyone take turns on duty tonight, with their weapons loaded. After daybreak, we'll enter this town and investigate the situation!"

"Yes!"

After hearing Lynn's order, Sean immediately went to assign the tasks!
Back in the car, Lynn lowered the seat and closed his eyes to rest while wondering whether those strange eyes were residents of the town.

No matter what happened to this small town, Lynn has already decided on the "truth" he wants to clarify.

It must be the virus that was deliberately spread by the Russians. This has become a common practice for the official announcement to fail to explain the truth behind the disaster!
After a night's rest.

As the sky gradually brightened, the barrier formed by the thick fog turned into mist again.

A stalled car can be restarted, and even blocked signals have returned to normal!

Because of the "electric current" last night, Lin En asked Alice to stay with the female members, while he took Sean and others into the town.

As soon as a dozen fully armed FBI members entered the town, they saw the indigenous residents wandering the streets unconsciously.

When they saw Lin En leading the team in, they rushed over immediately.

Seeing this, Lynn immediately ordered to open fire.

Bursts of gunfire rang out in the town, but even after the natives were pierced by bullets, they still charged towards this side.

Even though his head was shattered by a bullet, he still came towards the crowd.

Seeing this, Lynn Hall grabbed a guy who was rushing towards him and threw him out.

The native who was thrown out by Lin En hit the wall next to him and broke both legs, but he still crawled towards Lin En.

"FUXX, boss, what the hell have the residents of this town become?" Seeing the head explode like a watermelon, the headless corpse rushed towards the "monster" in his side as if it was equipped with navigation.

Sean cursed under his breath as he fired.

"Sean, lead the team to evacuate the thick fog. No one is allowed to come in until I come out!"

As he spoke, Lynn Hall jumped onto the roof in two or three steps.

"Boss, let me do it. You lead the team to evacuate!"

Pointing the submachine gun at the ground, Sean was just about to follow suit and climb up to replace Lynn.

But Lin En glared at him and said, "Follow orders!"

".yes!"

After looking at Lynn hesitantly, Sean gritted his teeth while holding the submachine gun.

Then he angrily fired a volley of bullets at these natives who could not be killed no matter what.

Then he reluctantly led the team to evacuate the town!
As Sean and others left the town, the indigenous people who had been rushing towards them also stopped.

Then he began to wander around the streets again unconsciously.

Outside town.

I saw Sean and others retreat, but Lynn Hall did not follow them out.

Alice immediately stepped forward and asked, "Where's the boss? Damn it, you left the boss alone in this town?"

As she spoke, Alice grabbed the submachine gun and prepared to rush in to save Lynn, but was stopped by Sean.

"The boss said that no one is allowed to enter the town until he comes out!"

"FUXX, what if the boss gets into danger in there?"

"This is the boss's order!"

"Bullshit order!"

She pushed Sean aside and was about to rush in, but the next second Sean stood in front of Alice again: "You know the boss's character and ability. He never fights a battle without preparation!"

"Since the boss has given such a great order, then he must have a reason!"

"So without the boss's order, even if the director comes, you are not allowed to enter!"

"you"

Alice stared at Sean and kicked him hard: "If the boss dies in there, I will personally send you down to accompany the boss!"

"You don't have to do anything!"

Seeing that Alice had calmed down, Sean walked aside, lit a cigarette, and said, "If those invincible creatures really hurt the boss, I'll strap a bomb to them and blow them up into the sky!"

Seeing that the atmosphere was a bit depressing, Dennis, who was about to speak, quietly closed his mouth.

This was the first time he saw Alice and Sean arguing.

After joining the New York FBI these days, he knew very well that these two people were the boss's most trusted subordinates!
Within the town.

Standing on the roof, Lynn Hall couldn't help frowning as he looked at the houses in the town.

The walls of the first few houses I saw were all painted with a strange blood-red pattern.

The pattern is a hexagram wrapped in a circle, and if you look closely, you will see that each corner of the hexagram is painted with something similar to a sheep's horn.

Jumping from roof to roof, Lin En discovered that the walls of all the houses in the town were painted with the same strange pattern.

This discovery made Lin En frown, because he always felt that he seemed to have seen this strange blood-colored pattern somewhere, but he could not remember where!
