Sherlock Holmes at Hogwarts.
Chapter 44 3 things
Chapter 44 Three Things
A seemingly ordinary morning.
When the owls flew into the dining room as usual, almost everyone's attention was attracted by a slender package carried by six long-eared owls.
Sherlock looked up and then looked away.
Harry was as eager as anyone to know what was in the package.
Ron just kept his head down and ate.
Just as Harry was about to ask Sherlock, several owls circled down and the package landed right in front of him, knocking his bacon to the floor.
Harry was utterly surprised.
"what is this?"
Ron, who was eating, was also stunned. Just as he was about to open it, he heard Sherlock say, "I wouldn't touch it if I were you."
Ron immediately withdrew his hand.
As if to verify Sherlock's words, a few owls flapped their wings and flew away, and another owl flew in and dropped a letter accurately on the package.
Harry picked up the letter and was about to tear it open when Ron stopped him.
He looked at Sherlock: "Can I open the letter?"
Harry didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
Ron's behavior is a typical example of overcorrection.
"Open it. I think this is a gift from Professor McGonagall."
Upon hearing this, Harry no longer cared how Sherlock had determined this.
He tore open the letter with trembling hands, and saw a few short lines of words written on it.
[Don't open the package on the table. It contains your new broomstick, the Nimbus 2000. I don't want anyone to know you have a new broomstick so they don't want it.]
Oliver Wood will be waiting for you at the Quidditch pitch at 7pm tonight for your first training session.
[By the way, Mr. Holmes's package is also here, remember to give it to him]
"Sherlock, Professor McGonagall said to send your package along."
Harry forced himself to suppress his excitement and handed the letter to Sherlock and Ron.
Sherlock was a little surprised.
Although he deduced from the shape and weight of the package that it was a gift from Professor McGonagall to Harry, he did not expect that she would send her own mail as well.
"Nimbus 2000!" Ron exclaimed enviously, "I've never even touched one."
"I'll let you touch as much as you want this time," Harry said, then turned to Sherlock and asked curiously, "What's in your package?"
"A violin given by my family."
Sherlock's voice was calm, but Harry and Ron were shocked:
"What did you sayΣ(っ°Д°;)っ"
"Can you also play the violin?"
He is knowledgeable, can box and fence, and now he says he can also play the violin?
Isn't this a bit too broad?
Sherlock didn't answer directly, but asked instead: "By the way, do you think playing the violin is noisy?"
Harry was the first to shake his head, "No."
What kind of commotion had he not experienced at the Dursleys'?
The noise of Aunt Petunia banging on the pantry door every day was already excessive, not to mention Uncle Vernon's roar and Cousin Dudley's crying.
Ron was a little hesitant: "That depends on how well you play. If you play well, it will sound like music. If you play badly..."
"Ha, that's no problem."
Sherlock interrupted Ron before he could finish his words.
Harry and Ron looked at each other.
Are you so confident?
The three chatted for a few minutes and then left quickly, mainly because Harry and Ron planned to find a quiet place to open the package and take a closer look.
After just two steps, Sherlock stopped and turned to look behind him.
"Sherlock, what's wrong?"
Harry couldn't help but ask.
Sherlock looked away: "Nothing, let's go."
He noticed someone was following him, but after a moment's thought he ignored it.
It's doomed to be in vain anyway.
Malfoy had been watching Harry since the owl dropped the package, and like everyone else, he was curious about the long, narrow package.
So as soon as he saw Sherlock and the other two leaving, he took Crabbe and Goyle with him without saying a word and started following the three of them.
The moment the package was opened, Malfoy was almost crazy with excitement.
As we all know, first graders are not allowed to bring broomsticks.
Before school started, he put a lot of thought into secretly bringing the flying broom to school, but unfortunately he failed in the end.
Now that he has such an opportunity, he will not let it go no matter what.
In his opinion, Snape hated Harry to begin with, so why wouldn't he beat him to death given this opportunity?
Expulsion from school is unlikely, but solitary confinement certainly won't be a problem!
Although Sherlock is indeed very powerful, he is now caught red-handed and in trouble. No matter how powerful he is, it will be useless!
Malfoy never expected that when he found Professor Snape, Snape, who had always been nice to him, would scold him with a dark face.
"Mr. Draco, I advise you to mind your own business!"
Malfoy was stunned.
what's the situation?
Without Sherlock's intervention, this matter would fail?
How could he know that this flying broom was given to Harry by Professor McGonagall.
Sherlock's words finally worked, and she didn't want to be suppressed all the time.
Coupled with Wood's strong suggestion, Professor McGonagall finally paid for Harry's latest model of flying broom - Nimbus 2000.
Just in case, she greeted several other professors in advance, including Snape.
So when Malfoy came running to complain excitedly, Snape just thought he was stupid.
Malfoy returned empty-handed, and Crabbe and Goyle, unaware of the truth, hurried over.
By this time, Harry and Ron had finished looking at the flying broomsticks and violins and were preparing to leave.
Crabbe and Goyle naturally wanted to stop them.
But the two were worried about being beaten again by Sherlock.
Just as Malfoy, the backbone, came back, a sinister smile immediately appeared on the faces of the two men.
Potter, you're done!
however……
"Let them go."
"what?"
Crabbe and Goyle almost thought they had misheard. Crabbe couldn't help but say:
"Draco, he's flying on a broomstick, the latest Nimbus 2000 model! Didn't you say before..."
"I said let them go!"
Malfoy growled in a deep voice.
At this moment, even without Sherlock's explanation, Harry and Ron understood what was happening.
Harry almost laughed out loud at the angry and confused Malfoy.
Ron would not miss the opportunity and mocked him mercilessly.
"Malfoy, your Comet 260 is pretty good, but it's not even on the same level as the Nimbus."
Malfoy was timid in front of Sherlock, but he attacked Ron with all his might.
"Shut up Weasley, you can't even afford half a broom handle!
I suppose you and your brothers had to collect twigs one by one to buy a broomstick?"
"What did you say? Say it again, you dare?"
Sherlock looked at them arguing with each other and couldn't help shaking his head.
childish.
But come to think of it, this is the mental state that an eleven-year-old boy should have.
Compared to them, I am the abnormal one.
Just at this moment, Hermione attacked, and when Sherlock saw Professor Flitwick not far away, he knew that this group of people could not cause trouble.
He simply left a few people behind and followed Hermione away.
Give Hermione special flying training.
This was the third thing that occupied Sherlock's time.
It has to be said that Hermione's flying talent was beyond Sherlock's expectations.
