Mercenary I am the king

Chapter 64 Remarks on the launch

Chapter 64 Remarks on the launch
The editor suddenly notified us that the book would be put on the shelves at 12 noon tomorrow.

Write a thank you note for the launch?

It seems to be a common practice.

In that case, I'll just follow your advice.

I resigned from the system at the end of 12 and started writing books in 14. It has been exactly ten years since then.

Why write a book?
I wrote good essays when I was a child. I was naive at that time and didn’t know how high the world was. I boasted to my teacher that I wanted to be a writer in the future.

Everyone has to have ideals, right?
Now that I have resigned and have some free time, I might as well write.

Fast forward ten years.

How many decades are there in life?
Is it a lot? Not much!
I keep failing, but I keep writing.

Occasionally I think of Zeng Guofan’s words: Fight and lose again and again, but fight again and again.

When I wrote about military affairs before, I was lucky to get the support of a group of book friends who like military affairs. They have been with me since my first military book. We have met offline many times, had drinks together, and became real friends.

Regardless of the results, I have benefited greatly from this aspect alone.

My book, as my fellow book friends say, is valuable because it is "authentic," but it lacks excitement.

This is encouraging to me.

To put it bluntly, it is called "falling behind".

As a reader in the discussion forum said, what era is this? Why are there still people writing this kind of mercenary novel?

I have been a soldier and I am familiar with military affairs.

If I don't write it, I really don't know what to write.

But change is the key to success, and people must seek change.

I also have to learn and improve. Maybe I will write about other things in the future, but not for now.

This book has somewhat not deviated from its previous style, and the content is too tough, so much so that a friend gave me advice that there are too many professional terms in it, which are difficult for military fans to understand. In addition, it focuses too much on the team and does not highlight the hero's heroic aura, which leads to mediocre results.

I think.

Skills are not as good as people.

The only way to change is to read a book.

This book still needs to be finished seriously.

But my book has a characteristic: it is slow to warm up.

After reading to the end, many book lovers were finally satisfied.

So, if you see this book, or are already reading it, please be patient and read on.

Of course, this seems like I'm taking myself too seriously.

These days, everyone is busy, busy rolling, rolling busy. Time is money, and no one has the right to ask others to waste their time on them. After all, I don’t have a big face... (laughs)
It will be on the shelves tomorrow at 12 noon.

I would also like to ask all the book friends who are reading or following me to give me a first order. I would like to say thank you here.

Finally, I would like to thank all the book friends who have supported me over the years, including Storyteller Brother, Lao Wu, Lao Dao, Bullfrog, Lao Bao, Qiu Feng, Xiao Pang, Lao Zheng, Lazy Cat 11, Hui Hui, Lao Mi, Qing Qian, Five-pointed Star, Lao Zhuang, JH, Big Rabbit, Baron, Star Far Away in Malaysia, Little Tangyuan, etc. There are so many people that I cannot mention them all one by one.

I would also like to thank the new leader, Sister Vera, for your recognition of my old book "Special Years" and for coming to reward me with the title of leader.

What could be more worthy of my gratitude than spending real money to read books and giving rewards?

Finally, I would like to say thank you to all my friends who have supported me and subscribed to my books.

It is my greatest honor to have you along the way!
