Chapter 35: True North Xiaohao's new book "My Family's Cemetery is Connected to the Game World"
"Is this you?"
"it's me!"
“That’s not you at all!”
"I used to be very flirtatious, but now I'm...mature and steady..."
……
That's how I felt about the new book by Bian Liang, a small account from the North. It starts out with a fantasy feel, and I almost skimmed through it at first glance. But then I reread it, and I found it to be written with a calm demeanor, and the plot is incredibly well-thought-out, demonstrating the skill of a seasoned writer. I highly recommend it. The subscription and follow-up reading rates are actually quite high, so I believe it'll pick up steam after a few more recommendations.
However, the only thing that doesn't seem to be written by him is this book. Actually, I don't want to recommend this book; I still admire his first, a brilliant work, "An Archangel at the Beginning." Many readers have asked, "Did you write that undercover?" I really want to brazenly declare, "Yes, I am Tang Bohu!"
The other day, when I saw this new book for a smurf, my first thought was, "It's just a level 1 smurf, I'm done!" I'm not kidding. Now, when I'm trying to reach the top of the leaderboard, I get goosebumps every time I see a level 1 smurf. Which big shot is pretending to be a newbie? The terrifying thing about level 1 is that after two rounds of trial and error, they immediately run away and start a new book. That means big shots have at least 1 chances to try and fail a year! In this age of traffic, there's always that one day you'll ride on the wave of traffic and soar to the top!
I once saw a lay reporter report that Yuewen had millions of registered authors. I laughed! Are those millions of authors? That's a lot of discarded dicks!
But what if a famous author's book fails? They'll have to grit their teeth and finish a million words, leaving it with the infamy of a bad ending. This happened to the author of True North. Actually, I'm in the same boat. How many books have I written that failed? Other big names' book reviews are all "666," while his and mine are all "It can't end any worse" and "It can't be left unfinished any more"...
After all, I just live in a small county town in the 18th tier, and it was before 2015. I bought three houses, got married, had children, settled down for the elderly, and started some small businesses. But Zhengbei is still young, and he has wasted six or seven years... In fact, he and I have encountered the same problem, that is, we can't keep up with the new era of games. We don't know how to play League of Legends or eat Chicken, and we don't recommend those mobile games with 3 consecutive draws. We haven't made the leap into fantasy cultivation. What should I do?
I have come to terms with it now. It's retro, just like when you turn on your computer and a webpage called "Legendary One Sword 999" pops up inexplicably... If I can stay stable, I will retire... I won't say much more. Brothers in need can support each other and how about opening a nursing home together?
