Chapter 23 I Will Return as a King

It's Kate Beckinsale.

She was dressed beautifully today, wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a fashionable black and white plaid evening gown.

A soft female voice came from the living room: "Kate! Come here, honey, I still want to hear your story with Ian Carr. How is it going? Did you go to bed?"

Kate laughed. "No, nothing happened. What happened? Why aren't the lights on?"

"The power is out, and we've called an electrician to fix it. Come sit down, it'll be back soon."

Everyone was laughing and chatting.

Ian hugged her and gave her a long kiss to silence her cries.

Kate was stunned for a moment.

"No!" Kate pushed him away and shouted, "What have you done?"

Ian looked at her with a smile: "Don't ruin my show, okay? You know I can do anything. If you have nothing to do, go home early!"

Kate's cry did not alarm the villa, but instead called the patrol guards of Beverly Hills.

Several guards hurried over on the green path not far away.

They grabbed Ian without any hesitation and pulled off his fake beard. Seeing that he was a young man, they shouted angrily: "You gutter rats, is there anything you can't do?"

Ian didn't care and just looked at Kate with cold eyes.

The two guards looked at Kate at the same time: "Ma'am, are you okay?"

After saying that, she turned around and left in a hurry, returning to Lilimarta's villa in a daze.

The living room was brightly lit and the guests were laughing and talking happily.

Kate Beckinsale was on pins and needles.

He returned to a van parked on the side of the road, which he had rented specially. There were a lot of instruments inside the van.

Ian turned on the monitor and began to adjust it. Soon, pictures appeared on the monitor.

Looking at the men and women in the living room who were being unrestrained, Ian narrowed his eyes and chuckled complacently.
