"So you're from this town too?" I asked doubtfully.

I thought to myself, I knew this man was powerful just by looking at his methods. I never expected him to be the city lord. It was obvious he was going to do something before he'd let Alice and I go. At that moment, I didn't know why I wasn't nervous at all. Ever since arriving in this world, I've completely changed. For example, I used to be a nobody, but now killing a dozen people is like crushing a dozen ants! If I were even more powerful, would I be able to kill at will? The thought of this gave me a chill.
