My main job is a full-time firefighter. I don't make much money, but it's just an ordinary and stable job.

After several failures, I felt that I couldn't write fan fiction anymore, so I decided to try original writing. I returned to Qidian and barely wrote an original novel worth 2,000 yuan. I actually made a little money, which made me more determined and taught me that writing novels can make money.

This book is a new book started after the original one was completed. In the beginning, I didn't have much hope, because American horror stories are a bit niche on Qidian. People seem to just write about them as copies. There are not many serious books about American horror stories, and even fewer that have achieved results. There is almost nothing worth reading. However, I like watching horror movies, and I have seen quite a few Japanese and American ones, as well as Thai and Vietnamese ones, so I thought of giving it a try. It is at least a track.

As I expected, this track is indeed niche, and the first few days after publishing the book were unremarkable. Until the book was put into storage, the situation changed. It gradually picked up during the Chinese New Year, and then it seemed to have taken up most of the traffic on this track, and all of it poured in, and the results began to improve.

It even reached the third place on the new book list. If the two above it were not platinum masters, maybe it could have taken the first place.

So at that time I was like, this book is taking off, my God!
What followed was anxiety and internal friction. Forgive me, I was really nervous when I took off for the first time. During that time, I was thinking about the plot all day long. The plot of Eden Lake was written at that time. Because of listening to random suggestions and worrying about the settings, the inserted plot errors decreased the viewing experience. I apologize to everyone here.

And maybe because a big tree attracts the wind, it received a lot of bad reviews when it was recommended. I didn’t even dare to read the comments because I couldn’t tell whether they were good or bad.

Of course, no matter what, I sincerely thank the brothers who voted and rewarded me, because it is because of you that this book has become popular and I have been able to persist until now.

Next, I will work harder on my writing and try to update more chapters, but it may be difficult to update 10,000 words a day, because this book requires a lot of movie knowledge. I basically spend all my free time watching movie commentaries, and then I have to consider the sorcery and magic, how to arrange the plot reasonably, etc.

It's a bit difficult to write, so after it's put on the shelves, I can only maintain about 6,000 updates, and try to maintain 8,000.
