Chapter 80 Nightmare
"Wen Shu, female, do you admit your guilt?"

In the huge courtroom, the judge in a black robe slammed the gavel down heavily.

The sudden sound scared Wen Shu.

She stood up hastily and looked at the faceless lawman, not understanding where she was, her body shaking with panic.

Her eyes filled with tears and she cried uncontrollably, "I didn't do it. I'm not guilty! I didn't commit any crime!"

However, no one listened to her excuses. Two strong males roughly lifted her up and dragged her out of the trial area.

"let me go!"

Wen Shu kicked her legs in embarrassment. Craig's gloomy face suddenly appeared above her head. "You bullied Qiao Qiao and wanted to seize her position as city lord. You deserve to die!"

"Craig, I'm not seriously injured. Just banish her to the jungle..."

Looking down, Bai Qiao was crying in his arms.

Bai Rong's family and the group of male protagonists with dark eyes also stood behind him, looking at her with disgust.

"I didn't expect the female to be so vicious. What qualifications does she have to be the future city lord?"

"That's right! She actually dared to collude with the blood beasts and plunder her own home city!"

"Hang her! Hang her!"

The orcs in the audience all stood up and waved their fists in indignation.

Countless roars reached Wen Shu's ears.

Her eyes were blurred with tears as she looked at the distorted faces and explained incoherently, "No, I didn't do it. I didn't commit any crime..."

The next second, Musil suddenly appeared in front of him.

His black robe fluttered, and he rushed forward with his broken snake tail swinging. He grabbed her face tightly, his dark green eyes blazing with murderous intent. "You vicious female, I won't let you die so easily!"

After saying that, he suddenly transformed into a snake beast, bit through her abdomen with his sharp fangs, and threw her into the depths of the jungle.

Countless strange beasts rustled out from among the lush green trees and surrounded her.

Their bodies were rotting, and foul-smelling saliva was flowing from their mouths. Their red eyes were staring at her greedily!
Wen Shu turned around and tried to run, but she couldn't move. She could only huddle in a corner in panic, watching them pounce on her and tear at her flesh...

A faint sneer lingered in her ears, blood splattered, severe pain spread from her limbs, she let out a shrill scream, and deep despair surged in her heart.

But at this moment, someone grabbed her shoulders, and a deep and mellow voice sounded above her head, "Ashu, don't sleep."

She endured the pain and looked up, but could only see a pair of dark golden eyes filled with worry.

"Survive, you must survive..."

As he spoke, he pushed her away with force, looked at her reluctantly, and then threw himself into the herd of beasts without hesitation. A circle of hot red light suddenly burst out from his body.

“…Wu Xuan?”

The familiar scene suddenly cleared Wen Shu's confused mind.

She rushed forward and wanted to catch him, but was blocked by an invisible barrier. She could only watch him walk away in the burning flames.

"Wu Xuan! Come back—"

A strong pain surged in her heart. She clenched her chest tightly and screamed at the top of her lungs, but her body was suddenly hugged tightly by someone.

"Wen Shu, what's wrong with you!"

An exceptionally clear voice called anxiously beside my ear.

The voice was deep and cold... It was Musil!
She struggled to open her heavy eyelids, and what she saw was a pair of dark green snake eyes.

Recalling the scenes in her dream, Wen Shu's pupils constricted, and she suddenly pushed him away. Her weak body fell and landed on a soft feather.

The biting cold wind stung her face. Through her messy long hair, she saw snow-capped mountains and countless huge flying birds carrying orcs, flying through the sparse dark clouds.

Her vision swam with her pounding heart, and she belatedly remembered everything that had happened before she passed out. She... was still alive?

How did she survive!

In the blur, are those golden eyes in the firelight real?

Seeing half of her body hanging in the air, Musier panicked.

He reached out his long arm and pulled her back into his arms, his brows furrowed, his eyes filled with deep heartache, "Are you okay? Did you have a nightmare?"

His voice was low and soft, like the warm breeze blowing through the branches on a midsummer night.

Wen Shu's ears trembled slightly, and she looked up at him. The gentle and enchanting eyes in front of her were completely different from the one in her dreams.

but……

That dream was so real.

She seemed to have experienced the original owner's ending exactly, and she is still frightened!

Wen Shu wanted to stand up, but her body was so weak that even moving was difficult.

She no longer wasted her energy and collapsed in Musier's arms, trying to slow her heartbeat. While treating herself, she spoke in a hoarse voice, "How...was I saved?"

After she finished speaking, her untreated lungs began to ache again. She could only slow down her breathing and stare into his eyes.

Musil looked at her and felt inexplicably uneasy.

There was something indescribably strange about the way the female looked at him...

Musil couldn't see through it and could only guess that perhaps she had just experienced life and death and had not yet recovered.

Thinking of this, he tightened his arms, and recalling the thrill of finding the female, his heart tightened again.

"We found you in a cave. A cloaked male was planning something bad to you!"

Musier's pupils trembled, and he hugged her tightly. "But when he saw me and Nan, he ran away. That damn guy, did you see his face clearly?"

The male was dirty, ugly, and had a pungent smell, yet he actually held the female in his arms!
Hearing his description, Wen Shu's heart tightened. The male who caught her was not wearing a cloak at all.

Her intuition told her that it was Wu Xuan, it must be Wu Xuan!

She held onto Musil's arm and anxiously asked, "Where did that orc go? In this bad weather, wouldn't he come to Beast City?"

As soon as he finished speaking, a warm breeze mixed with the fragrance of flowers blew on his cheeks and quietly wrapped around his cold body.

Wen Shu was stunned for a moment, staring at Mu Xier's gaze, which then moved behind him.

Under the huge head of the snowy owl, the dark clouds all dissipated, replaced by a thin layer of clouds.

The dazzling sunlight passed overhead, illuminating the land beneath the clouds, which was unravaged by wind and snow and full of vitality.

There are no dense woods here, only large tracts of flowers and lawns, extending all the way to the front, under the bluestone city wall.

"Everyone wake up! We're at Beast City!"

"Great, we're finally safe!"

The orcs stood up excitedly, cheering with relief, tears of excitement flashing in their eyes, and they couldn't wait to jump from the sky.

Looking at the city wall in front of him that was dozens of meters high, so wide that it had no boundaries, and looked like a giant bowing its head, Wen Shu was shocked, but his expression became more solemn.

Perhaps influenced by the dream, she stared at the dark green moss climbing up the wall, feeling a deep sense of unease filling her heart...
