Chapter 19 Uncle Yunling
Yun Ximo tilted her head, her eyes, as brilliant as phoenix wings, shimmering to the extreme. She said seriously, "Anything else? If not, I'll go upstairs."

Without waiting for Shu Manli's response, the girl went upstairs directly. She had no interest in the hypocrisy of the mother and daughter and didn't want to look at them again.

This action made Shu Manli's face involuntarily gloomy.

Yun Yutong looked at Yun Ximo's departing back, a cold smile appearing on the corner of her mouth.

Even if Yun Ximo was taken back to the Yun family, she had the means to make her life in the Yun family miserable.

One day, she would have Yun Ximo kicked out of the house. By then, the position of the eldest daughter of the Yun family and her grandfather's favor would all be hers. As for Yun Ximo, she was just a lonely figure that no one cared about.

When Yun Ximo woke up again, she was awakened by the incessant knocking on the door, which was like a curse disturbing her sweet dreams.

She hadn't had a good night's sleep since she came into this body. She was woken up and felt extremely upset.

After a full ten minutes, she slowly walked out of the room.

The moment the door opened, the butler's gloomy face came into view. He announced in a cold tone, "Miss, please hurry up. The master has just returned from abroad. The whole family is in the restaurant right now."

Upon hearing this, Yun Ximo raised her eyebrows slightly, revealing a hint of surprise: "Which master?"

The housekeeper suddenly remembered that the master was still abroad after Old Master Yun brought Yun Ximo back. However, he only glanced at the girl lightly and did not intend to elaborate.

Yun Ximo put her hands in her pockets and walked lazily, stopping and starting, showing her carefree attitude. "Miss, please hurry up." The butler walked in front, looking at the girl with disgust.

Meanwhile, inside the restaurant.

The Yun family sat around the dining table, talking and laughing.

"Yutong has won many awards during her time abroad." When talking about her daughter, Shu Manli's face lights up with joy, and she has endless things to say. At the same time, her heart is filled with pride and honor, because this is the daughter she has carefully nurtured.

However, time passed, and Yun Ximo still hadn't appeared. At this moment, Shu Manli frowned slightly, her voice tinged with coldness: "Let's eat. She never likes to sit at the same table with us."

Noticing the impatience in Shu Manli's tone, Yun Ling asked, "What happened to the child?"

Thinking of Yun Ximo's changes, Shu Manli's face turned cold.

Then, a tall, slender figure slowly emerged, striding leisurely. Yun Ling's gaze swept across the girl's face, and he was slightly startled, a flicker of surprise in his eyes. Although he had never seen this niece, whom Old Master Yun had brought home four years ago, she bore a striking resemblance to his eldest brother than he had expected.

Yun Ling looked at the girl standing in front of the dining table and greeted her gently, "Please sit down."

Yun Ximo looked up at the man who spoke, replied softly, "Hmm", then pulled up a chair and sat down opposite Shu Manli and Yun Yutong. There was no restraint in her behavior, and she seemed extremely comfortable.

Yun Ling then turned to the butler and ordered, "Serve the food." The butler replied, "Yes."

Soon, the long-prepared dishes were brought to the table one by one. The atmosphere was unusually quiet, even tinged with an indescribable awkwardness and stagnation. Yun Ling's mind echoed with the housekeeper's earlier words. He turned his gaze to the girl who was eating and asked, "I heard the housekeeper mention that you skipped classes and got into fights?"

Upon hearing this, Yun Ximo looked up at him, her eyes clear and pure, "Have I done it?" This question made Yun Ling's expression complicated, while Shu Manli beside him frowned.

Yun Yutong felt a sense of schadenfreude in her heart.

"Yun Ximo! You've done something wrong and you don't admit it. What's wrong with you?" Shu Manli's face instantly darkened, and she slammed the table in anger.

Yun Ximo smacked her lips lightly and glanced at her lazily, "I'm not deaf yet, I can hear." Yun Yutong looked displeased: "Sister, this is not right. Is this how you talk to my mother?"

Yun Ximo tilted her head slightly, a hint of a half-smile on her lips, and said in a playful tone, "Oh."

After a brief thought, Yun Ling said in a calm tone, "Have you ever considered going back to school?" His tone was calm, and as soon as he said this, the atmosphere at the table quietly changed.

Yun Yutong paused in her meal at Yun Ling's words, her hand gripping the chopsticks pausing slightly. Turning her gaze to Yun Ximo, she said sweetly, "If you have any questions about your studies, you can always come to me. However, it might be a little late for you to go back to school now."

The butler was listening on the side, his eyes seemed to be mixed with sarcasm and contempt, and he glanced at Yun Ximo lightly.

Shu Manli sneered in her heart, secretly glad that she didn't have such a daughter who made her feel ashamed.

Seeing Yun Ximo remained silent, Yun Ling tried to start a new topic again: "Or you can go to any school you want." Yun Yutong smiled and said, "Dad, my sister grew up away from home. Life was hard. She was lucky to be able to fill her stomach. Maybe studying is not that important to her."

Yun Ximo slowly stood up, her eyes sweeping across the table. Her voice was clear and cold, without a trace of impurity. "I'm full," she said, and then she left the restaurant without looking back. As she walked, she took out her phone and lazily replied to messages.

Yun Ling was slightly stunned when he heard this. He turned his gaze to Shu Manli, who looked grim beside him, and asked doubtfully, "What happened in the four years I was away?"

Shu Manli's face showed displeasure, and she looked up and said, "What could have happened? Ever since she came back, her momentary obedience has caused me to misunderstand her. In the wealthy circle, it is well known that she is disrespectful to elders and speaks without restraint."

Yun Ling's eyes flickered slightly, but he didn't respond directly. He had just met this niece and was somewhat curious about her unique personality.

Yun Yutong's expression was indifferent, but she was secretly delighted. She bit her lip lightly, "Dad, Mom, I think my sister hasn't gotten used to my presence yet. If I hadn't come back, maybe my sister wouldn't be like this."

Upon hearing this, Shu Manli immediately interrupted, "What nonsense are you talking about, silly child? It's her, not you, who shouldn't be able to come back. Ever since she returned to the Yun family, there has been no peace in the house."

Yun Ling pressed his brows lightly and said tolerantly, "She is my eldest brother's daughter, and her parents are not around. She has returned to the Yun family alone and is not used to many things. You should be more tolerant.

If she doesn't want to learn etiquette, then so be it."

Shu Manli frowned, as if worried: "Etiquette is a compulsory course for every rich daughter."
