Chapter 116 A play within a play

A small hexagonal alley, a remote courtyard.

Zhang Zhaodi knocked on the door, and the door opened. A middle-aged woman with a gentle and kind appearance welcomed her in.

"There are a lot of things to do in the store today, so I came a little late. Are you waiting too long?" Zhang Zhaodi asked the woman.

Jiang said softly, "I'm free anyway, so what's the harm in waiting a little longer? If you're busy, go ahead and do your thing. My door is always open for you."

"Sister Jiang, you're so kind." Zhang Zhaodi took her hand and said with emotion, "Are there any other guests today? Why did you prepare so many dishes?"

"My eldest brother from my mother's family is here too," Jiang said, "so I made a few more dishes for the men to enjoy with their wine."

"Since you have guests, I'll come to see you another day." Zhang Zhaodi turned around and was about to leave when she heard that.

"Sister, don't go. We're all family, what's the big deal?" Jiang said, shouting inside, "Brother, husband, come out quickly! Sister Zhang said she's leaving!"

Jiang's husband, the man who had helped Zhang Zhaodi before, came out with another tall, slender man. The former had a handsome appearance, while the latter was gentle and elegant. Both men were good-looking.

"Sister, we are all family. We are just having a simple meal. There is no need to be so formal." Jiang's husband Tong Chunlai said with a smile.

Jiang Fang, the eldest brother of the Jiang family, echoed, "That's right. My sister keeps talking about you, her sworn sister, all day long. If my uninvited arrival spoils your fun, then I should be the one to leave."

"Okay, excuse me for bothering you then," Zhang Zhaodi said. "I came here today to tell you that business has been so good recently that I'm afraid I won't be able to see you for a while."

Jiang and Tong Chunlai looked at each other.

Tong Chunlai slapped his forehead and said, "Oh, look at my brain. We don't have enough wine at home. I have to go buy some. You guys eat first. I'll be back soon."

"Let's drink first." Jiang poured a glass of wine for Zhang Zhaodi.

Zhang Zhaodi and Jiang Fang sat next to each other.

Zhang Zhaodi felt a little uncomfortable sitting so close to a stranger she didn't know.

Jiang saw this and kept looking for topics to help Zhang Zhaodi relax.

"Come, this wine is very good, try it." Jiang filled Zhang Zhaodi's glass again.

"Sister Jiang, you're the first friend I've made in all these years," Zhang Zhaodi said for Jiang and Jiang Fangman. "That day, I was robbed, and thanks to my eldest brother's help, I was able to get my money bag back. He was injured trying to save me, and I felt incredibly guilty, so I took him to the clinic and then back home. That's how I met you. We hit it off right away, and we've been getting along really well these past few days."

Jiang listened to Zhang Zhaodi's nagging and said with a smile, "That's right. I don't have many friends either, but luckily I met you and now I have someone to talk to. My husband has always been good at standing up for the weak, and this is what he should do. He even joked that he had found a sister for me."

Tong Chunlai came back with a wine jug.

"Here comes the wine."

"I've been waiting for you, come and have a drink." Jiang filled his glass.

It is late at night and there is no moon tonight. Perhaps the moon is drunk and doesn't want to show its head.

"It's here." A woman pointed at the gate in front of them and said with Su Yaoguang, "I heard that your mother seduced my man here."

Su Yaoguang was followed by Zhou Wangshu, and behind him were the Zhang sisters. As for Jia Chunni, Jiang Jing, and Wang Huanzhi, they were left in the store to watch over the shop and were not allowed to come over.

When the woman dragged Su Yaoguang to the small shabby house, Grandma Su, Grandpa Su, Uncle Su, Aunt Su and their family hurried over. They met outside the door.

"Why are you here?" Su Yaoguang looked sharply at Grandpa Su, Grandma Su and others in front of him.

Grandpa Su has always been timid and cowardly. After hearing Su Yaoguang's questioning, his first reaction was not to refute, but to look at Grandma Su guiltily.

Grandma Su felt that this money-losing guy was becoming more and more imposing. The moment he faced her, she instinctively trembled, as if she saw her eldest son who had a bad temper since childhood.

"Someone has come to us and reported that your unfaithful mother is cheating on her husband. We need to come and catch her in the act. Even though your father is gone, she can't bring shame upon him." "Who reported it, and where is the informant?"

"Don't delay any longer," said Second Aunt Su. "Are you stalling here on purpose so your mother can run away when she hears any noise?"

"Yeah, don't try to trick us."

Grandma Su pushed the door open fiercely.

The woman who came to the door and dragged Su Yaoguang over also followed closely behind them.

Zhou Wangshu said calmly, "Words are not enough, let's go in and take a look."

A group of people stormed into the room angrily.

The door was only slightly closed and not locked from the inside, so they opened it with a push.

The room was dark.

Before they could light the candles, shameless sounds of a man and a woman making love were heard from inside.

Hearing the sound, the woman rushed in like crazy and hit the dark shadow on the bed with a feather duster.

"Shame on you, shame on you... Oh my God, I'll kill you, you heartless person... And you, bitch, how dare you seduce my man..."

"Oh my god..." Second Aunt Su said exaggeratedly, "Sister-in-law is too promiscuous! Even if she wanted a man, she could just pick another one and marry him. This unmarried man is not afraid of tarnishing Yaoguang's reputation."

Zhou Wangshu said calmly, "No one saw it, so you're so sure it's my mother? Could it be that you're cats and can see in the dark?"

"Yaoguang, Wangshu, you go out first." Zhang Pandi said.

"They can't leave. Her mother is having an affair here. If she leaves, who will handle this matter?" Grandma Su said, "Light the candles and let them see clearly how shameless her mother is."

Uncle Su volunteered: "I'll do it."

His tone was excited and he was obviously happy to see this happen.

Uncle Su blew out the lighter and lit the candles in the room.

However, it didn't work, the fire was still not bright enough.

The two people on the bed had stopped moving. They hid under the quilt, shivering and not daring to show their faces.

The woman was a fierce woman. She found a torch in the yard, lit it and rushed into the room.

As soon as the torch appeared, the whole room became clear.

The woman tried to lift the quilt, but the person inside was holding on too tightly and could not lift it up.

Aunt Su grinned and said, "I'll help you."

Grandpa Su and Grandma Su were filled with anger: "How shameless."

Zhang Pandi and Zhang Yingdi stood in front of Su Yaoguang: "Yaoguang, you are still a little girl, this kind of thing..."

Don't look at it, it will dirty your eyes.

However, when Zhang Panddi and Zhang Yingdi saw the two people revealed when the quilt was lifted, they were stunned without saying a word.
