Chapter 132 The Dragon Cub Has Superpowers

Outside the cave, Ali stood next to a small tree, plucking leaves from the branches with a red face.

"That Laxus is so stupid, not smart at all. Whoever becomes his partner in the future will be in trouble."

"But he's so stupid, no female would be willing to be his companion. His life would be miserable then."

As she spoke, Ali became a little angry again. She kicked the tree next to her with her good foot.

"Am I crazy? Why am I worrying about her?"

Who knew that although this tree looked small, it was actually very strong. She kicked it and frowned in pain.

"Oh, it hurts." Ali squatted down and rubbed the instep of her feet.

"Why did you hurt your foot again?" Laxus squatted down next to Ali.

She helped Ali sit down on the stone next to her, and knelt on one knee to take off the straw sandals on Ali's feet.

Ali blushed shyly, "Don't, it's dirty."

Laxus looked at the white feet in front of him, the small, round toes and shook his head. "It's not dirty."

Then he picked up Ali's feet and looked at them carefully.

I saw a red patch on the instep of my right foot, and the skin on the joints of my toes was broken.

Ali bit her lip and looked down at Laxus, whose features were sharp and angular, with a flutter in her heart.

Apart from her father and mother, not even her closest brother, Klein, had ever touched her feet.

"Why do you always hurt your foot? Do you have a grudge against it?"

Hearing Laxus say this, Ali glared at her and turned her head away proudly. "What's it to you?"

Laxus sighed helplessly and took out a green object from the animal skin pouch at his waist.

He peeled off the green branch's skin, revealing the transparent flesh inside, and squeezed out the juice to smear on Ali's broken toes.

"Hiss~ It hurts, what is this?"

"This is aloe vera, which is used for pain relief and disinfection. I saw it and picked it on the road before."

Ali looked at Laxus's lowered head and asked tentatively, "Did you pick it just for me?"

Laxus held her fair feet and blew gently on them to allow the aloe vera juice to absorb faster.

He laughed and said, "Besides you, who else in the team is so stupid and always hurts his feet?"

Ali listened to him laughing at her and pouted angrily.

"Humph, I was worried about you, and you still laughed at me like this."

"What are you worried about me?" Laxus asked with a raised eyebrow as he sat down next to Ali.

Ali moved her mouth, but ultimately did not tell the truth.

"Hmph, I won't tell you."

In the cave, Maya looked at the little dragon cubs in Taylor and Zeref's arms, feeling a little confused.

"Master, this little dragon cub doesn't look like it was just born."

Ophelia was shocked when she heard him say that.

Zeref, however, remained calm, glancing at him. He said coldly, "How come I didn't know you'd seen a newborn dragon cub?"

Maya thought about it carefully and it was true, but he always felt something was strange.

I feel that a newborn dragon cub shouldn’t look like this.

Seeing that Maya still had doubts in her heart, Ophelia winked at Zeref.

Zeref had no choice but to come up with another plausible excuse. "The dragon cub's physique is different from the other cubs, so it's born stronger than the others."

Seeing that her young master was actually explaining to her patiently, Maya put aside her doubts.

No matter what, as long as it is the blood of our young master, it will be fine.

After resting in the cave for two days, Ophelia and others continued on their journey home.

The little dragon cubs were chubby and very cute. Along the way, they were either in Laxus' arms or in Taylor and Zeref's arms.

Ali also likes the three little dragons very much, and the little dragons also like her as their simple aunt, so the four of them have a lot of fun playing together.

At noon that day, Laxus and Taylor looked around but couldn't find any water source.

So they could only set up camp in a relatively flat open space to rest. Taylor led a few people to fetch spring water, while Maya led a few males to the forest to hunt.

Laxus and Zeref stayed behind to protect the two young females.

Ali was very curious about Laxus's life and insisted on trying it.

So Laxus struck the flint, and then taught Ali to use a branch to pick up a gap and blow it into the weeds to ignite the fire.

But since it was Ali's first time to make a fire, she had no experience and didn't control the strength well.

She lit the entire fire in one breath, and the fire suddenly burst out and burned her hair.

"Ah, my hair is on fire."

"Help, help. Laxus, help me."

Ali was running around anxiously, and Laxus tried to get close to her but she always dodged him.

Seeing this, Ophelia hurriedly shouted, "Ali, please stop so we can help you put out the fire."

Ali stopped when she heard that. She pouted and her eyes were filled with tears.

Ophelia and Laxus were about to go forward to help her put out the fire when a small stream of water rushed directly towards Ali's head.

Although Ali was soaked by the spray, the fire in her hair was also extinguished.

Ophelia was very surprised and wondered where the water came from.

Taylor and Zeref also looked towards the source of the water.

Ophelia was shocked to see that it was the white boss spitting water.

"How could this happen?"

"The dragon cub can actually spit water! Am I seeing things?" Laxus opened his mouth in surprise.

Several people's eyes fell on Zeref.

Zeref's face was grave.

Maya, who had just returned from hunting with the males, happened to see this scene.

"Master, the young master can spit water, is this..." Maya was very excited.

Zeref nodded gravely. "Yes, it's an atavism."

"Atavism?" Ophelia wondered.

"In the earliest times, both the Pterosaur and Phoenix tribes possessed elemental abilities, which is why they were able to establish the Holy City and lead the Dragon and Phoenix tribes out of the lower-level tribes."

"But as time went by, the number of people with supernatural powers in the Phoenix and Pterosaur tribes decreased. A hundred years ago, there were no more people with supernatural powers in the two tribes."

"Ability?"

Ophelia felt that this was a bit like the apocalyptic awakening and supernatural power novel she had read before. It was too magical.

"Master, it's a good thing that the young master has superpowers."

"If the head of the family knew that the young master had supernatural powers, he would definitely accept the young masters. He might even agree to you and Ophelia being together."

"Should we send this news back to the Holy City and tell the head of the family now?" Maya felt that this was an opportunity.

"Ophelia, what do you think?" Zeref did not make a decision on his own.

Ophelia thought about it for a long time, but finally refused.

"You also said it's just a possibility, there is still danger."

"I don't want to gamble the lives of my children on that possibility."

Even if the head of the Pterosaur family will treat the boss specially because the boss has special abilities.

What about the second and third sons? Since they don’t have special abilities, will they be abandoned by the head of the Pterosaur family?

Ophelia didn't dare to think about it, nor did she want to gamble.

If it really comes to the last resort, we must tell the head of the Pterosaur family.

So she hopes to keep it a secret for as long as possible, and it would be best not to reveal the secret until the dragon cub has the ability to protect itself.

Zeref was able to guess what was going on in Ophelia's mind and agreed.

"Don't worry, as long as you don't want it to, what happened today won't be spread out."
