Chapter 32 Klein's Counterattack

Green leaves covered the sky, and several young people were standing at the entrance of a hidden cave, looking at the cave with curiosity.

Ten minutes later, a tall, blond female with red lips and white teeth walked out.

"You can come in."

Klein glanced at the two young males beside him. They were walking in front, holding torches. He and Ali were walking behind, with two other males protecting them.

Ophelia and Taylor were at the end of the team. As expected, the 'rich people' brought four 'bodyguards' with them when they went out.

As soon as he entered the cave, Taylor lit a bonfire, and the orange-yellow flames illuminated the dark cave.

The rich aroma of rice rushed into his nostrils. The moment the firelight lit up, Klein clearly saw several clay jars in front of him.

The reddish-brown, half-human-high clay jars were filled with rice, wheat, and millet.

There are also three clay jars filled with fresh fruits. The aroma of the fruits mixed with the aroma of rice creates a novel taste.

"My friend sent another 160 bags of wheat, as well as these fruits. Chief Klein, do you want any more?"

After finally catching a big fish, she wanted to take the opportunity to clear out her inventory.

For this purpose, she took out 50 apples, 50 dragon fruits, 50 mandarin oranges and 20 watermelons from the warehouse and placed them on the ground.

When Ali saw so many fruits, she couldn't walk anymore.

"Brother, it's rare to find so many fruits in the White Tiger Tribe. I want them, I want them."

"I want all the extra wheat and these two jars of fruit."

Ophelia gave him a thumbs-up in admiration and said with a smile, "The boss is very generous."

Although Klein didn't understand the meaning of the word "boss", he understood the meaning of the word "generous".

"Are two yellow crystals enough?"

"enough."

The two paid with one hand and delivered the goods with the other.

Then the four young males brought by Klein took out several animal hide bags.

Ophelia looked at the animal hide bags thoughtfully, as if they had been prepared in advance, calculating that she had food on hand. Had she been too ostentatious before and attracted his attention?

Looking at the remaining jar of mandarin oranges, Ophelia's eyes darkened. It seemed that she had to be on guard.

It was not until half an hour later that the group finally loaded the food and fruits.

At the cave entrance, Ophelia smiled broadly. "Chief Klein, we welcome you to visit the Golden Dragon Clan again next time."

"Ah."

Klein didn't come to the Golden Dragon Clan to find companions. Since he had already obtained the food, he didn't stay any longer and started the return journey with Ali.

"Taylor, wait outside for a moment. I'll go in again."

But within a minute she came out again.

"Shall we go back now?"

Ophelia shook her head. "No, wait a little longer."

After saying that, she took Taylor's hand and hid under a hillside not far away, then stared closely at the entrance of the cave.

Taylor didn't understand why, but he still stayed patiently.

About five minutes later, Klein, who had already left, reappeared.

"Yes···"

"Shhh."

Klein bent down again and entered the cave, looking around before entering.

"Let's go and take a look." Ophelia lowered her voice and whispered in Taylor's ear.

"it is good."

In the cave, Klein didn't light a bonfire. Instead, he scanned the clay jar with his night-vision tiger eyes. The jar, which should have been filled with orange fruit, was empty.

Klein curled his lips and chuckled. It was interesting.

Footsteps were heard outside the cave. Klein frowned slightly. He smelled two familiar scents and sighed before leaving the cave.

At the entrance of the cave, Ophelia crossed her arms and smiled meaningfully, "Did Patriarch Klein leave anything behind?"

Taylor also looked at them vigilantly with his brown eyes, and pricked up his ears to listen carefully to the movements around him.

"Ophelia, you are very clever."

"We'll meet again." After saying these two words, Klein brushed off the animal skin skirt around his waist and left leisurely.

Taylor raised his foot to chase after her, but Ophelia stopped him.

"I can beat him!"

Klein is just a tiger beast. No matter how strong he is, he cannot defeat him as a dragon beast.

"I believe you, but there are other people around him."

Klein must have had a backup plan if he dared to come back alone. Even if Taylor was strong, two fists could not beat four hands, and he could not prevent the other party from attacking him secretly.

"Okay, don't be angry. We still have to go to the market. If we go late, it will get hot."

The weather is getting hotter and hotter now, so she wants to sell the fruit before the sun reaches its hottest point.

She once again took out all the apples, peaches, oranges, dragon fruits, watermelons, bananas and 160 lychees from the warehouse, a total of 523 fruits.

The trading market might not be able to handle it, but her goal today is to find new "wholesalers".

More than 500 pieces of fruit weigh about to kilograms. Taylor couldn't take them all in one trip, so he went back again.

Ophelia asked the males who came to exchange fruit to line up, and she began to distribute the fruit slowly.

Because she brought enough today, she had no purchase limit on anything except the winter melon.

In a short while, a small hill of mud had piled up around her.

"Mi Xue, I heard there are winter melons in the market. It is said that you can get them in exchange for just one prey."

"I heard about that, too." Michelle looked at the two prey carried by the male beside the female and said with a smile, "Sophie, it seems that you..."

Sophie glanced at Loki, who was holding Amy, and blinked. "Hey, I don't believe you're not here for the cold melon."

Michelle patted her, her cheeks flushed. "Amy was craving winter melon, and when she heard about this, she insisted on coming over. I came along to see it, too." She would never admit that she was greedy.

"That long line over there must be people vying for the winter melons. Let's get in line quickly, or we'll be late."

Sophie pulled Michelle towards the long line, and the two males who were lagging behind had doting smiles on their faces.

"Dad, can I really eat winter melon today?" Amy asked with anticipation.

Loki rubbed the top of her head and said softly, "Don't worry, father will make sure you eat the cold melon today."

He brought a red crystal today, and he would exchange it for the cold melon even if he had to raise the price!
Just as she was about to reach it, Sophie stood on tiptoe and looked at the five winter melons lying on the ground.

Five minutes later it was their turn.

"I want two winter melons!" Sophie waved her hand, and her partner put the two prey heavily on the ground.

Ophelia didn't even raise her eyes, her voice cold. "The purchase of winter melons is limited to one per person."

"Then my partner and I are two people, so it makes sense for us to have two." Sophie was a little angry when she was rejected. She raised her head and glared at the little female in front of her.

"Oh, Ophelia, why is it you???"

"It's me. Again, the purchase of winter melons is limited to one per person. You and your partner count as one person."

"But we are from the same tribe, can't you give us one more?" Sophie disliked Ophelia, but softened her tone for Hangua.

"I'm from the Golden Dragon Clan." This means that your Snow Wolf Clan should stay away from me.

After awakening and divorcing my husband, I'm back on the new book list. Thanks to my dear friends for voting. I'm now number 13 on the list. I haven't rated it yet, so please comment and rate it. Dear friends, please give me a five-star rating.
