Chapter 60 Acquitted
Roy winked at the capable female agent and began to answer her questions.

The content of the answers was basically the same as the transcript. They were all stories that Roy made up after careful consideration and would definitely stand the test.

But Saltana listened very carefully, trying to find problems in Roy's words.

"Mr. Black, can you explain why you always encounter this particular incident?"

Roy himself wanted to know the answer to this question. Things always came to him without him even having time to take a vacation. It was really too much.

"Because I'm handsome?"

The two poker-faced men in black who had been silent before almost couldn't hold it in, which attracted Saltana's angry glare.

"Mr. Black, please answer my questions seriously!"

"But I don't know how to answer you, because it sounds better to say that I'm handsome than to say that I'm unlucky."

Roy spread his hands helplessly.

This time, Saltana couldn't help herself and smiled sweetly.

This smile extinguished the anger that had just been ignited.

After a while, Salta stopped smiling and continued to ask Roy.

"I'm sorry, I'm not mocking you. Mr. Black, let's not dwell on your luck. Could you explain why you're able to defeat those with, uh—special abilities?"

Roy rolled up his sleeves to show off his perfect arm muscles.

"As you can see, I'm a boxer, and a Texas boy, who's been training with my father with a gun since I was a kid. The average police officer wouldn't be a match for me!"

Saltana took a deep look at the muscles in Roy's arms.

As a senior agent, Saltana could see that the other party's muscles were all trained and there was no technological element involved.

Even the top agents in the bureau might not have such a good figure, and Roy was only a senior in high school.

Saltana said half-jokingly.

"Perhaps you could consider joining the FRA after graduation."

"Ha! I might want to unify the four major boxing leagues in the future. I'm worried the Federal Response Bureau can't afford my salary!"

Roy punched the air several times, and the speed of his punches was as fast as lightning, which almost stunned Saltana.

"Oh, you are a good fighter indeed."

"Ms. Saltana, everything should be alright, right? I've already had enough bad luck, could you please not make me spend the night in a cell on Christmas Eve?"

Roy began to act pitiful, and this face, when acting pitiful, was very lethal to women.

Saltana could hardly hide the smile in her eyes, but she still pretended to be angry.

"Weren't you quite good just now? You even insisted on asking my name before answering the question!"

This conversation was becoming more and more like flirting, and Saltana's two subordinates could no longer bear it and had to cough twice to remind their superior.

"Cough cough!"

Hearing her subordinates coughing, Saltana's eyes instantly cleared up and two blushes appeared on her face. Fortunately, her skin color was bronze, so her blush was not too obvious.

"It's really nothing. You can go back and reunite with your family."

"Can I ask you for a business card? If I get unlucky again and run into any trouble, I can contact you."

Roy winked at Saltana, his eyes revealing a special meaning.

Saltana was a little afraid to make eye contact with Roy. She convinced herself that everything was just for work, then took out a pen and wrote down a phone number on a piece of paper.

"This is my private number. Don't call if you don't have anything to do." The capable female detective even put emphasis on the word "nothing to do", which made her statement even more obvious.

Roy took Saltana's private number and answered her with a playful smile.

"Okay, I'll definitely call this number when something happens!"

Roy also emphasized the word "something", and the meaning was very obvious. Saltana's face turned red when she heard it.

This was so obvious that Saltana's two subordinates coughed again to remind the two.

"Cough cough!"

"Then I won't bother you anymore. I'm leaving now. By the way, can you please give me my gun back?"

During the Chucky incident, Roy failed to put away his Smith & Wesson M625 because the doll had bullet holes in it, which led to the gun being confiscated by the police.

The cursed dagger was easier to deal with, so Roy simply used the fruit knife he had snatched from Chucky as a substitute.

Saltana looked at Roy with pretended seriousness.

"Mr. Black, according to local law, you are not allowed to carry a concealed handgun under the age of 21! And the handgun and bullets must be stored separately."

"Well, I heard Kelly calling for help, so I went to find her with a loaded pistol."

Roy's actions did violate some laws, but American laws are already a mess, and the laws of each state are even more bizarre. Even experienced lawyers with many years of experience can make mistakes.

"Don't do it again! Remember to remove the bullets from the magazine when you return. One more thing, you can't leave until you sign this confidentiality agreement."

"Thank you, Sister Saltana!"

The word "sister" brought a smile to Saltana's face, but she soon felt the strange looks from her subordinates.

"Ahem! There's news that something unusual happened at a motel in Oklahoma, and the higher-ups want us to go over and investigate."

"Sir, you have the final say."

"Sir, we didn't see anything."

Saltana glared at her two men.

"Shut up. Forget it, it's Christmas Eve today. We can go to Oklahoma tomorrow."

Roy collected his belongings, including his cell phone, Smith & Wesson M625 revolver and car keys, from the bearded sheriff and left the police station.

On Christmas Eve, people in Snowdrift Town were setting off fireworks.

Roy stopped to watch the fireworks for a while, then called Needy and Jennifer to let them know he was safe.

"Roy, you've been acquitted? Thank God! Jennifer and I have already written a complaint email and are ready to submit it to the White House website!"

Needy and Jennifer on the other end of the phone were full of surprise.

Roy didn't expect that these two girls were so proactive. Fortunately, he came out early, otherwise he didn't know what they would do.

Maybe they'll hack into the White House website to get justice for Roy?
"It was originally a minor matter. The FEA agent just wanted to discuss the details with me."

When it comes to FEA, Nidi has a lot to say.

"Roy, this FEA is quite impressive. I found a lot of information online. I'll tell you tomorrow."

"Okay, remember to go to bed early tonight! I'll give each of you a goodnight kiss, Mua! Mua!"

After hanging up the phone, Roy walked towards the Japanese-style guesthouse.

It's been two days, Heather should be feeling better now, right?
