Chapter 98 Tathagata (First update, please subscribe and vote)
The transliteration of Tathagata is Duota Agada.

In Buddhism, he is also called Sakyamuni Buddha.

He is the founder of Buddhism.

He is a powerful figure who rose in the recent ancient times.

The visualized deity in the Mahayana Tathagata Sutra is Tathagata.

These scattered information are the Buddhist related information that Shi Yi found in Changqing Temple. They are scattered and incomplete.

Because when he asked Lou Xuanming about Buddhist texts before, Lou Xuanming guessed that he was reading books related to Buddhism. Therefore, when he was in Changqing Temple, for the sake of safety, Shi Yi did not take the initiative to ask Song Jing about matters related to Buddhism.

For some questions, find the right time to ask, or find the answers yourself.

At this time, Shi Yi was in Jiuhua Mountain, sitting cross-legged and practicing.

Beside him, three kinds of incense for nourishing the spirit and three kinds of incense for protecting the spirit were lit.

"Thus have I heard, at one time Bhagavan

"The divine eye sees the Tathagatagarbha, which is free from all stains."

"Namo Amitabha."

Shi Yi murmured Buddhist mantras one after another.

The practice of Buddhist techniques is somewhat different from the practice of Taoist techniques.

Just like when you enter into meditation and visualization, you need to recite the Buddha's words and enter into meditation on this basis.

If it is an ordinary person, it will take at least three years just from eating vegetarian food and chanting Buddhist scriptures before he can start to practice meditation.

However, Shi Yi's situation was different. He had already entered into a state of meditation. He was just imitating the Buddhist meditation by whispering Buddhist mantras.

His mind was clear and he could enter a state of meditation with just a single thought.

The Zen sound entered his ears, and then flew into his sea of consciousness through the bridge of Shi Yi's physical body, turning into golden words, and finally stopped in front of Shi Yi's soul.

In the Mahayana Tathagata Sutra, the practice begins with spiritual travel, or more precisely, the night travel level. In Buddhist language, it is also called boat travel.

The clouds move, the moon rotates, and so do boats sail and the shores shift.

The names are different, but the realm is actually the same.

At this level, one needs to visualize the Tathagata.

The most important thing is 'spirit', followed by 'form'.

These golden words in the sea of consciousness will also help to perfect the "form".

Shi Yi had copied the Tathagata in the Bodhi seed many times, and he tried to copy it even though he had never practiced Taoism before.

After he came into contact with Taoist practice, he would copy a painting whenever he had time, and he has continued to do so until now.

Today he specially copied three pictures. Now, each of the pictures he copied is hanging in front of him. They are all the results of his understanding.

At the same time, the Bodhi seed was also in his arms.

Originally, he had no plan to bring the Bodhi seeds with him, but the moment he had the idea of changing his cultivation today, he subconsciously brought the Bodhi seeds with him. Seeing this, Shi Yi took it with him!
Shi Yi did not plan to bring the Bodhi seeds with him, because under normal circumstances, he could not see the visualization pictures and texts inside even with his double pupils, because the traces were too small.

All of them added together looked like a black dot, not even as good as the pattern he copied.

Furthermore, prevent accidents.

However, it didn't affect him to carry it with him now, because the place he chose to change his practice was not in Ninghe County, but in Jiuhua Mountain. Before practicing visualization, he wandered around and checked to make sure there was no one nearby before he began to practice.

Even if a problem arises, he can leave and return to Blue Star with just a thought, and basically no one will be able to find his trace.

After Shi Yi practiced Taoism, he had a better understanding of Taoist magic and was more aware of his situation, so he felt at ease to bring him here.

At this time, in Shi Yi's sea of consciousness, the "God" of Tathagata was cast out bit by bit by Shi Yi. His long period of copying made him very familiar with the "God" of Tathagata.

After a while, a vaguely-shaped Tathagata appeared in his sea of consciousness. Although its appearance was blurry, the deity within it was similar to the Tathagata within the Bodhi seed. Anyone who knew about the Tathagata would recognize it at a glance.

'Spirit' is more important and more critical than form.

After completing this step, Shi Yi began to construct the details of Tathagata bit by bit. At the same time, he let the golden words in his sea of consciousness fly into the Buddha statue, and the shape was quickly replenished in an instant, making Tathagata more solid.

As Tathagata became more solid, countless Zen sounds rang out in Shi Yi's sea of consciousness.

At this time, the Three Qi Earth Lords and the Five Auxiliary Lords appeared. They sensed the birth of a new god and wanted to eliminate the new god.

Seeing this, Shi Yi took a deep breath. He knew that this step was the most important step when changing his cultivation method.

When practicing different main techniques, there will be a clash of 'spirits', which is also the instinct of the technique.

Therefore, you must be extremely cautious when changing your practice method.

Even if it is a technique with the same origin, a lot of preparation is needed, and even special treasures are needed to protect it, not to mention different techniques.

But Shi Yi was well prepared.

As his thought moved slightly, four divine lights flew out from Shi Yi's soul and suppressed the four directions of his sea of consciousness.

These four divine powers divided the entire space into two areas.

Two reds make up one area, and two blues make up one area.

The power of the double pupils was used by Shi Yi.

Directly separate Tathagata and the Three Qi Dijuns to prevent them from destroying Tathagata's 'spirit' and 'form', and also to prevent the two from fighting.

At this time, the 'form' of Tathagata was slowly being completed, causing the sound of Zen to linger in Shi Yi's sea of consciousness.

He wanted to penetrate the red light area, but was directly blocked by the red light!
He also did not let Tathagata attack the Three Qi Earth Lords.

This is also the result of Shi Yi's control, he is the dominant one.

Although he chose to switch to practicing the "Mahayana Tathagata Sutra", this does not mean that he gave up practicing the "Record of the Divine Journey to the Underworld". After switching to the practice method, the aura above the soul will change.

Shi Yi is still practicing in Changqing Temple, and will later use this opportunity to join the Taiyi Taoist sect, so he still needs to retain the Taoist practice methods.

At this time, the four divine lights divided the two areas, which was how Shi Yi separated the two cultivation methods.

The situation was indeed similar to what he had guessed.

In fact, if he guessed wrong, then he would temporarily be unable to let his soul leave the body in Changqing Temple. While practicing in the sea of consciousness, no one would be able to discover the changes in his soul.

However, at that time he will need to practice the method of transforming sentient beings into Buddhas in the Mahayana Tathagata Sutra. Before his soul leaves the body, he will need to simulate the Three Qi Earth Gods, but this will take time.

The current situation in his sea of consciousness is much better than the worst case scenario, and it will not affect his subsequent practice.

After Shi Yi's sea of consciousness was divided into two worlds by the double pupils' divine light, the double pupils flew back into his soul again, while the four divine lights remained unchanged.

Shi Yi could feel that if he wanted, this sea of consciousness could be divided into two more worlds, which means that he could switch to practicing two more techniques without affecting the four techniques at all.

This idea appeared in Shi Yi's mind, but he rejected it immediately.

Not to mention that he doesn't have the four martial arts techniques, even if he did, he wouldn't have that much time to practice them.

If it weren't for the fact that the Taoist practice method in his hands was incomplete and he was not sure whether the subsequent ones were complete, after all, in the entire Changqing Temple, there were only exercises that reached the Yuandan level, then he would have thought of changing his practice.

After all, if the subsequent exercises are not complete, it will take more time and energy for him to switch to other skills.

In this situation, he practiced the two techniques together without affecting each other. If he confirmed that the techniques were incomplete later, he could cultivate them into nutrients and offer them to Tathagata, and he would not waste so much time practicing.

"The Tathagata has been achieved, and now we can continue to strengthen the Tathagata!"

Shi Yi looked at Tathagata floating in his sea of consciousness and thought silently in his heart.
