Chapter 293: Making trouble
Xiao Jinlin looked at her with such tenderness that it was almost melting into a puddle of water. He affectionately stroked her hair and said, "I'll come back to be with you after I've finished dealing with things."

Chen Xinyue nestled into his arms. "Should we inform my grandparents or my parents? What should we do next?"

I was afraid you would worry if you found out, so Jinlin and I decided to wait until after the first trimester when the morning sickness disappeared."

My morning sickness has gotten much better lately, and I estimate it will be completely gone in another month or two.

Only then was Madam Xiao relieved.

Mu Qinglian inquired about Chen Xinyue's diet.

Chen Xinyue immediately praised the nanny, saying, "Auntie is a great cook. She makes all sorts of different dishes for me, including my favorite seafood, which is also her specialty."

Mu Qinglian nodded and smiled, "These people were all carefully selected by your grandmother and placed by Jinlin's side, so they must have some real skills."

Everyone was pleased by what he said.

Seeing that Chen Xinyue was alright and that her pregnancy was still in its early stages with a flat belly, he simply told her to rest well before leaving.
