Chapter 76 Magical Spell

Holding a torch, Colin led Serris to an open space outside the city: "Let's go here."

Serris glanced back and asked, "Is it so far from Silver City?"

Colin smiled and said, "I always have to think about the people of Silver City."

"That would be troublesome to run back and forth every day." As Serris said this, he kicked a hole with his foot, threw the Jianmu seeds in, and filled it with soil.

"Can this plant called Jianmu really grow here?" Colin asked uncertainly.

As soon as he finished speaking, a sapling suddenly emerged from the soil.

puff.

Serris threw a light blue arrow, nailing the sapling into the ground.

"Look, it can grow." Serris pointed at the arrow.

After saying that, Serris poured some purple powder around the arrow, surrounding it.

Then he pointed his finger into the air, and an amber cover covered Jianmu.

Colin raised his eyebrows. Protect?

Finally, an invisible mist enveloped it, and its figure gradually dimmed and disappeared, leaving only a cloud of mist.

"Alright, I can't trap it for long, but once it grows up, I think you'll be able to leave soon." Serris patted the nonexistent dust from his hands. "Even though I didn't actually do anything, I still worked hard for myself."

"Mr. Ceris, are you saying we can leave here?" Colin grasped the key point of Ceris's words. "Can I consider this a prophecy?"

Ceris looked up and met Colin's gaze. "No, this is a blessing."

"Thank you." Colin replied with a smile.

"By the way, what do you think of that kid Derrick?" Colin changed the subject.

"Derrick," Cerus answered as he casually scattered wheat seeds around the mist, "he's a rather innocent child. He must be surrounded by such kind people, otherwise he wouldn't have developed such a personality."

"Although our living conditions may not be as good as those outside, I am confident that we in Silver City are all good people." Colin seemed very proud.

"That's good." Ceres smiled.

Serris described the planting process: "If it grows normally, it might take about a month, and you should water it every one or two days. If you inject spiritual power or destiny power to accelerate ripening, the quality will decline, but it will grow faster."

"It doesn't matter. We don't have much demand for quality for now," said Colin.

"Then let me demonstrate." Serris injected some spiritual energy into the technique. "The power of abundance is best, followed by the spiritual energy of the pharmacist and the cultivator. If you don't have any, other milder power of destiny or spiritual energy will also work."

Wheat quickly germinates, emerges, tillers, stands up, joints, forms ears, heads, flowers, fills with grain, and matures.

The series of procedures only took a few minutes to complete.

"Won't there be any pollution?" Colin confirmed again.

It's no wonder he kept checking. He knew full well how dire the environment in the God-Forsaken Land was. The air and soil were rife with pollution. Could food grown in such an environment truly be eaten?
"Oh, just don't worry, it's okay."

Colin wanted to say that his heart wasn't in his stomach, but he still felt the occasion wasn't right: "Okay."

He planned to conduct identification and divination after returning, and then find a few volunteers to try it out for a while.

…………

The two returned to the gate of Silver City.

"Mr. Ceres, this is your first time here, so let me show you around the City of Silver."

"Okay," Serris said, placing a boundary anchor against the wall next to the main gate of Silver City. "What is this?" Colin asked.

"This is called Realm Anchoring. The Nameless Guest can teleport through this." Serris explained.

"Can we connect to the outside world?" Colin asked again.

"Okay, do you want to try it?" Serris gestured for Colin to try it.

Colin stepped forward and tried to communicate with the boundary anchor: "I can feel the veins, but I can only perceive one point in this vein, which is the anchor point in front of me."

"You need to go somewhere else first and touch the anchor point there before you can teleport."

Colin nodded and said nothing more. He was lucky enough to get food from the outside world, and he couldn't expect too much.

Clean food is a luxury here.

Colin took Serris to visit Silver City, and soon they arrived at the training ground.

From a distance, you can hear the sounds of Silver City warriors training.

Among them, the whistling sound of the whip and the gentle roar of Derrick the Sun were particularly obvious.

The two walked in and saw Charles instructing Derrick to whip a wooden stake.

"The waist drives the arms, the arms drive the wrists. Finally, the wrists exert force. Remember, the most important thing is the wrists exert force."

"Yes, Mr. Charles!"

"Voice! Voice! Shout out! Shout out loud!"

“Yes!” Derrick roared in time with the whip’s cracking. “Neck! Neck! Go work! Go work!”

This was the magic spell Charles called him, although he couldn't understand what it meant.

For some reason, when using this spell, the speed and power of his whipping were indeed enhanced.

That's great! He must become the best farmer! He must turn this imperfect world into what he wants it to be!
Seeing Derrick's expression and hearing the magical spell, the Silver City warriors training nearby seemed to be blessed by a mysterious power. They seemed to have endless energy and began to spontaneously increase their training intensity.

Seeing the Chief coming, Derrick immediately stopped training and saluted.

Colin motioned him not to worry about himself.

"Derrick, what are you training for?" Colin asked.

"Chief, I'm training my whip skills. I want to be the best farmer!" Derrick replied in a resounding voice.

"Farmer?" Colin was puzzled.

"It's a profession that can turn monsters into productive forces."

Colin nodded and glanced at the enthusiastic people around him. Didn't he know there was such a good job? "Okay, then you can continue training."

"Yes! Your Excellency!" Derrick responded.

Serris's feet lifted off the ground and he patted Derrick on the shoulder. "Very good, but remember, when you have the chance to make a choice, don't let yourself regret it."

"I'll remember that, Mr. Ceres." Derrick said, understanding.
