Chapter 209 Fire Wheel: The Killing Jar

Chapter 209 Fire Wheel: The Killing Jar
On Planet Flame Wheel II, Nimrod descends upon the largest battlefield.

As soon as he jumped out of the drop pod, he saw the two war leaders of the Dead Skull Clan turn their gazes toward him.

The smaller one, similar in size to the original Genesis, carried a blue mechanical backpack and held a double-barreled rifle.

The taller orc was a green-skinned techmaster. Behind his head, a hammer and wrench formed a cross shape, connected to a vertical iron rod, spinning like a windmill. He also carried tools such as pliers on his back.

He carried a specially made double-barreled rifle, which was connected to the ammunition box on his back by cables and instruments, and was decorated with trophies such as teeth.

About a hundred meters behind the Tech King, there were twenty-five walking mechs shaped like cans, with a pair of piston-like mechanical legs taking quick strides towards them.

Ninglu recognized them as killing jars; what made them special was that the driver wasn't Green Skin, but a fart demon.

The farts undergo a similar, but more primitive and brutal, procedure, after which they permanently reside inside.

Unlike Astartes, who were passively buried inside, the lower-level members of the Greenskin ecosystem engage in fierce and bloody internal competition, resorting to murder and brawls.

Ninglu saw greed in the eyes of the two Deadskull Clan orc leaders, their eyes fixed on his armor and the power gauntlet covering his left fist.

"Waaagh!"

The two leaders of the Dead Skull Clan roared excitedly at the same time and strode forward, charging excitedly toward him.

As they ran, they fired a barrage of bullets at Ninglu.

The double-barreled, specially made large-caliber machine gun in the master's hand vibrated wildly and emitted intense sparks when fired.

Behind him, countless green-skinned soldiers wielding various types of pistols looked at the tech master with envy and jealousy.

A dense hail of bullets struck the black armor, only to be deflected by the cast iron scales.

The green-skinned creatures stared blankly at the black-armored shrimp, unable to understand why the shrimp's black armor hadn't been pierced.

Ning Lu strode forward, and as he ran, he bent down and picked up a piece of iron from the ground, squeezing it hard.

The "briber" swung his arm in a wide arc, throwing dozens of fragments with extraordinary throwing power.

The fragment traced an arc, passing the two orc leaders, and flew for dozens of meters before plummeting down and embedding itself in the green flesh.

The "bribery and charm" spell made the eyes of a dozen or so greenskins turn red. They raised their pistols, pulled the triggers, and bullets shot towards the surrounding orcs.

The Deadhead Greenskins were thrown into chaos. Their innate thirst for the scattered debris was ignited, and they launched a frenzied attack on the surrounding Greenskins.

Upon seeing this, the Gene Prototype thought to itself.

The "Bribery & Charm" spell is far more effective against Deadskull Orcs than against other clans.
Ninglu drew his power sword and gave orders to the honor guard members behind him.

"Prioritize eliminating the Technician Kid!"

The Honor Guard members understood the Primarch's orders; before the war, they thoroughly studied the documents issued by the Primarch.

The Deadskull Clan has a large number of Scavenger Boys, all of whom are under the command of Technician Boys.

In the social culture of the Dead Skull Clan, the Crafts Boys hold a much higher status than those of other clans. They reassemble salvaged parts and debris into weapons and daka.

The Technician Kid can also repair the Greenskins' unstable weapons and precisely kill them, severely damaging the Scavengers' ability to fight continuously.

Unlike Wilshire, the Primarch did not need to deliver an inspiring speech; every Shadow of Order who fought alongside him was motivated by following the Father of Genesis.

The Honor Guard raised their bomb muskets and, following the Primarch's orders, launched a swift attack on the Orks.

Bang bang bang!
The mechanic boy was torn to pieces by the bomb, and their deaths emboldened the scavenging boys.

They frantically rushed towards the debris and wreckage they saw, launching attacks on rival tribes and even their own tribe's scavenging boys.

During the Greenskins' chaotic battle, Ninglu rushed at high speed to the two orc leaders.

Tech Master turned and ran, shouting loudly.

"can!"

The remaining nineteen killing jars rushed over, their long-barreled guns firing wildly.

Ta-ta-ta-ta!

A hail of bullets rained down, and two members of the Honor Guard were hit by concentrated fire, their goggles pierced.

The orc leader did not turn and run away. He held a double-barreled rifle, his eyes wide open, and he roared.

"My gun will definitely pierce through your armor!"

The orc leader heard the roars of Gao Ge and Mao Ge, and green mist rose in his mind.

The bullets fired from the twin breechblock struck the black armor with a clanging sound.

The bullets seemed to instantly transform into armor-piercing rounds, with flakes of cast iron shavings falling with a crackling sound.

Ninglu instantly donned the "war mask," transforming his anger over the death of his offspring into power.

His speed suddenly increased dramatically. In the blink of an eye, he appeared before the orc leader and unleashed the Vaal Sword. A flash of blue and white light ripped through the orc leader's body. Without pausing, he charged towards the killing jar.

Ning Lu leaped into the air and severed the killing jar in half with a single sword strike.

After he landed, the three killers surrounded him, and with nimble steps, they attacked Ninglu from behind and sides.

The power sword crackled and sputtered as it attacked Ninglu.

As he fled, Tech Master kept an eye on what was happening behind him.

Seeing the black-armored warriors surrounded by the killing jars he had created, he immediately stopped running and turned to rush over.

Nimrod twisted his body, and with a flick of his wrist, he unleashed the 9th move of the "Osberh-Vaya" sword, wielding the Val Sword with a vicious backhand slash while his body was contorted.

Skill Master's eyes widened as Black Armor Shrimp, in the blink of an eye, swung his sword in an impossible manner, shattering three killing jars.

He turned and ran away, pondering something.

Soriano forcibly bought all my good stuff.

Once I build bigger, more awesome Daka and Tutu, I'll kill you. Then everything you have will be mine.
The expert jumped onto the daka, kicked the driver away, and fled frantically.

He turned his head to look behind him and suddenly realized that all the killing jars had fallen over.

Black Shrimp picked up a piece of the wreckage from a murder jar and threw it at him.

The expert quickly turned around and sharply twisted the steering wheel to the right.

boom!
Daka and Jiba were smashed and sent flying, tumbling in the air.

After the tech master got up, he saw the black-armored giant appear in front of him.

Ning Lu raised his sword and killed Ji Ba.

He reached out and pulled off the wrench, hammer, and pliers from the back of the master craftsman. They all gleamed with a spiritual light and were ingredients for a magic potion.

The great war on Planet Two lasted for thirteen stellar days, and the number of Deadskull Clan orcs who died in the infighting was no less than the number killed by the Shadows of Order.

While the 11th Legion's servants and mechs were clearing the ground with flamethrowers, Ninglu received a communication message from the Sound Array Master.

The Ninth Battle Group has arrived, and the Third Battle Group will arrive in two days.

Nimrod immediately ordered the Honor Guard members and the two chapters to continue clearing the Greenskins from Planet Two, and he returned to the Shadow of Reign.

When Nimrod met Thomas in the Primitive Office, he listened to a briefing and then tapped the back of his chair with his fingers.

"Although the Eleventh Corps has established the position of think tank, it does not yet have a corresponding organizational structure."

"I have decided to establish a think tank department to oversee the Legion's psionicists."

"I'd like you to step down as commander of the combat group and become the director of the think tank. Are you willing?"

Thomas accepted the new appointment without hesitation.

"Father, I do."

Thomas deduced from the orders previously issued by the Primarch that the Think Tank would be an important component of the Legion.

More importantly, the lord commands the warband independently, while the think tank director should be a department that covers the entire legion, overseeing all think tanks and being closer to the Father of Genetics.

The newly appointed director of the think tank immediately got into character and asked the question.

"Father, how should the organizational structure of the think tank department be set up?"

"Think tanks, like technical sergeants and pharmacists, are directly under your command and also assist the various battle groups in combat."

Ning Lu recalled the think tank structure during the Future Warband period and decided to refer to the hierarchical structure, he continued.

"There are three levels below you, from lowest to highest: compiler, recorder, and star language officer."

"Newly recruited psionicists are at the editor level. They are responsible for combat reports and submitting them to the person in charge of the Legion's records."

"The scribe is responsible for evaluating the reports written by the editors and finalizing them for inclusion in the think tank, providing commanders with a strategic overview of operations."

"The duties of the Star Speaker are to serve as the chief communications officer both inside and outside the battlefield, and this role is filled by a psionicist who is capable of projecting their thoughts into the warp."

Unlike Star Speakers who are responsible for inter-galactic communication, Star Speakers are responsible for shorter-range communication and coordinating attack and combat orders.

"Father, I will carry out your will."

“In addition to the actual psionicists, I will also appoint some members of the Royal Court who have not yet assumed command positions to join the think tank.”

The think tank director pondered the deeper meaning behind the words of the progenitor.
