Chapter 220 Fiery Wheel: The Singer

Chapter 220 Fiery Wheel: The Singer

After resting, the Second and Eleventh Battle Regiments once again stepped onto the battlefield.

Two warbands and knights of the Trixvickers family launched attacks on the orc fortresses to the northwest and southwest, respectively.

Wilshire, who was in charge of the team, gave a speech to everyone.

The listener wasn't just in his squad; there were ten other squads as well.

Despite being of the same rank, all ten captains spontaneously followed Wilshire.

This was both because Wilshire was a Royal Knight and because he was convincing.

Wilshire's voice rang out through the amplifier, which he had specially commissioned from a technical sergeant to maximize the effectiveness of his speech and singing.

"Do you know me?"

Wilshire yelled at them, his voice louder than the roar of the engines.

"Yes!"

Everyone answered in unison.

"I am Wilshire!"

A cheer responded to his words, but it wasn't enough.

"Today is our day of glory. By the king's command, we will purify the Greenskins."

"Are you willing to stand with me?"

"willing!"

More than a hundred Shadow Order roared in unison, following Wilshire.

Beside the formation, the engine noise subsided, and the green knight mechs of the Vickerstrix family stepped off the landing deck.

Ward Hitler sat in the cockpit of the Glory Victory, a massive amount of information flowing through his neural interfaces.

Runes scrolled across his retina as he surveyed his surroundings through the external sensor array of his knight mech.

He had become one with the Glory of Victory, feeling its thirst for battle.

For the first time in thousands of years, they have left Daxsocks and rejoined the battle of the stars.

King Campbell Vixtricx commanded the attack on the Southwest Fortress, and as the most powerful knight besides the King, he was in charge of the war at the Northwest Fortress.

Nineteen knight mechs followed behind the Glory Victory, including Bowen Drishyam's Shield of Darkus and Alvarez de Goes' Sacred Mars.

Ward turned on his communicator, and his authoritative voice boomed across the communication network.

"Start the power system!"

The Glory Victory was the first to activate its power transmission system, with smoke and incense emanating from the exhaust vents of its armor. Hydraulic tendons bent, and gears accelerated their rotation.

Twenty knight mechs rapidly approached the orc fortress.

Ward spoke over the communications network as he came into view of the orc fortress walls.

"The Knights of Daxsocks, the noble descendants of families such as Vixtricius, Drishyam, and Hitler."

"Today, we obey the command of King Ninglu; we are the flames of cleansing."

"For the King and for Daxsocks!"

Twenty knight mechs simultaneously activated their ion shields.

On the south side of the Northwest Fortress, the Avenger Gatling guns of the Glory Victory roared.

The cannonballs burst forth like a torrent, causing city walls to collapse wherever they passed, and the orcs behind the walls were reduced to bloody corpses.

The Sacred Mars on the left and the Shield of Darksos on the right strode toward the two corners of the south wall, their thermal cannons on their right arms roaring into action.

The thermal cannons were activated, target data flooded their minds, and the ground beneath their feet trembled.

A blinding flash illuminated the green fortress, and the intense heat of the overheated energy caused it to collapse around the corner.

As the building collapsed, the runes representing the enemy disappeared in large numbers.

The automatic machine guns of the other knight mechs spun rapidly, frantically firing at the green-skinned creatures atop the city walls, sending green flesh flying everywhere.

The green cannons roared as they attacked the green mechs.

Ward shouted over the communications network, “Raise your shields!”

The knight mechs raised their arms in unison, the ion shields hanging on the outer walls blocking their way.

The shells from the green-skinned cannons struck it and were then bounced off.

The Glory Victory strode forward, rushed to the city wall, gripped the touchscreen glove tightly, and slammed the armored gauntlets heavily against the wall.

The lightning-struck gauntlet slammed heavily against the front of the city wall, sending rubble crashing down.

Ward roared and threw another punch, hitting the gap created by the Avengers' Gatling gun.

Rumble!
The city wall collapsed with a roar, and the green mech charged into the fortress. The orcs roared and charged at him, but the Glory Victory swung its fist and instantly tore more than a dozen orcs to pieces.

At the two corners, Bowen and Alvarez swung their touch gloves sharply, and the Grim Reaper's chainsaw slashed at the corner junction.

The city wall collapsed, and two knight mechs crashed into the city wall.

Darksocks' knight mechs stormed into the Greenskin Fortress.

At the southeast corner of the city wall, Wilshire opened his mouth and uttered a long, drawn-out chant.

The song was amplified and carried throughout the battlefield.

One hundred and nine shadowy figures of order gazed at the back of the "Singer," the song lingering in their ears and flowing into their bodies.

Each shadow of order could feel courage from it; they felt stronger and faster than usual.

The "singer" strode forward, his chanting unabated.

The shadows of order followed behind, their steps becoming lighter as they ran.

Even when infected by the "Singers" and caught in a frenzy, the Shadows of Order could clearly sense that they were moving much faster than usual.

The feeling they just had wasn't their imagination.

Inspired by the "Singers," the shadows of order swiftly stormed the city walls, launching a frenzied attack with their weapons.

The black-armored knights, like a whirlwind, crashed into the green-skinned wave.

They brandished their weapons and launched a merciless massacre against the Greenskins.

The "singer" leads the way, and it is not only his followers who draw strength from his songs, but also he himself.

Wilshire swung his power hammer with his right arm, and the blue disintegration field rushed through the green-skinned waves like lightning.

The green cars that collided with it were all torn to pieces.

The diagram flashed on Ward Hitler's retina and transmitted alarm data directly to his cerebral cortex.

Ward nearly pulled the touch glove and used the heavy machine gun to attack the area where the oracle was crackling and flashing wildly.

Just as he was about to exert force, the runes on the bird divination instrument suddenly turned into a green friendly symbol.

Ward paused for a moment, then adjusted the power, allocating more power to the motion capture sensors.

The holographic image blurred for a moment before being replaced by a series of views.

When the image on the hologram flickered again and became clear once more, Ward distinguished the tall, robust figure from the green skin.

They are the Astartes clad in black armor, the shadows of order.

The hundred Shadow Order swiftly caught up with and overtook the Knights of Darksox.

Their movements were extremely fast, even faster than the advancing knight mechs.

Their killing speed was no slower than that of the knights.

A memory flooded Ward's mind.

The elite knights of Darksox have been repeatedly defeated by the shadow of order.

Ward heard the mechanical throne's voice ringing through the neural links and roared into the communication network.

"Charge for Daxsocks!"

The servo motors hummed, and the armored feet stomped powerfully on the ground.

Ward pulls and pushes the touch glove, and each time a dozen or so orcs are blasted into pieces.

The knight must personally kill the orc leader in the city and win glory for Daxsocks.

The Glory Victory crashed through several defensive fortifications, its oracle updating in real time, and it spotted a tall figure.

He was 3.3 meters tall and wielded a 2-meter-long cleaver.

Wilshire also saw the tall green-skinned creature; it was his target, the trophy he would present to the Father of Genetics.

The "singers" sang loudly, their voices even drowning out the smoke of battle.

Power surged within the "Singer," and he instantly leaped past the Glory Victory, rushing to the Orc leader.

The eyes of the Shadow of Order were filled with black. The tall green-skinned man raised his great scythe and swung his power hammer from bottom to top, smashing it into the ribs of the green-skinned leader.

Ward, who arrived two steps late, witnessed the disintegration force field tearing apart the orc leader's massive body, and he had no choice but to turn around quickly.

The servo motor short-circuited due to the immense pressure, sparks flew, and the war machine tilted to the right.

Wilshire felt the mech behind him tilt, his expression calm, and he muttered to himself.

“I have also awakened ‘Warspace Insight’.”
