On the bridge of the HMS Kings Shadow, Ning Lu reviewed the torrent of information on the video screen.
The results of the Auger matrix scan show that the main star of the Wheel of Flames has two continents.
The southern continent is smaller and surrounded by ocean, while the northern continent is about five times its size.
The communication bead in Alsena Dunne's ear beeped. He pressed the bead, listened to the report, and then frowned slightly.
The Primarch's servant raised his staff, illuminating the hologram, and reported to the Primarch.
"My lord, we have received a communication from Lord Leman Russ. He has decided to land on the western side of the Northern Continent."
"He did not wait for your reply and has already ordered the fleet to begin orbital bombardment to create conditions for the landing."
Ning Lu nodded slightly. He wasn't surprised by this; wolves don't like to wait.
He turned to look at Hannibal beside him and Suarez and Erling behind him, and he keenly noticed that their bellies had grown larger.
Although ordinary people cannot see the change no matter how they observe, he can clearly distinguish it by recalling it and comparing it with that of a year ago.
"Hannibal, how about the Second Legion be responsible for purging the southern continent?"
If it were Leman Ruth, or any other ambitious Primarch, he would be furious that Nimrod had given his Legion the smallest war zone.
But Hannibal smiled and spoke with elegance and a hint of delight.
"no problem."
Hannibal hurriedly led Suarez and Erling away, rushing back to his warship to begin his hunting expedition.
Ninglu then looked at the commander of the "Morning Star Titan Legion" and asked.
"Alex, how many Titans does your legion have?"
Alex's red uniform jacket was studded with dark green rivets, and his shoulder epaulets bore the Gloria crest, signifying his status as a senior commander.
He bowed slightly, his right hand on his chest.
"Lord Ninglu, Morningstar currently has one hundred and four Titans."
Ninglu's eyes flashed. The number of Titans that Alex mentioned was quite different from the 156 Titans that Ninglu remembered the "Morning Star Titan Legion" had at most.
He knew that most Titan Legions only had a few dozen Titans, and only top-tier Titan Legions like the "Morning Star Titan Legion" had more than a hundred Titans.
Of the Titan legions that Ninglu knew of, the "Vulcan Legion," which forged World Nobunaga, possessed more than three hundred of them, which caused panic among the Mechanicus.
Under Horus's leadership, the "Legion of Vulcan" was eventually split into the "Darkfire" and the "Lord of Destruction".
Before the Horus Rebellion, there were about two hundred Skulls of Death, making it the largest Titan legion.
[The "Morning Star Titan Legion" also reached a number of 156 units before the grand birthday celebration.]
He looked at the master of the furnace, who nodded slightly, acknowledging the number.
Nimrod recalled the information about Glea, the colonists of the Mechanicus, who, after establishing the Forgeworld, had expanded their sphere of influence to more than twenty star systems during the "Age of Conflict" through centuries of effort.
Using the resources of these star systems, Glea developed a powerful Titan legion and established a robust orbital defense system.
The protracted war that the imperial representatives feared did not occur, and therefore Gloria was rewarded with the right to conquer the world in the neighboring region.
[But Gloria has only been authorized for a short time, and has not yet established the steel ring of memory, nor conquered the dozen or so smaller casting worlds in the neighboring region.]
Of course, Gloria has not yet encountered the infamous "Ripper Titan Legion".
With one increase and one decrease, the total number should be approximately 104.
While Ninglu was pondering, Alex continued.
"According to the alliance agreement, there are a total of thirty-five Titans fighting alongside the Eleventh Legion."
"This includes seventeen general-class Titans, nine combat Titans, and nine reconnaissance Titans."
Ninglu nodded slightly in satisfaction. The Gleaians hadn't deliberately sent out a large number of scout Titans; meeting the quantity requirement was sufficient.
The three models of Titans were the same as the standard formation of the "Morning Star Titan Legion" in his memory.
Strictly speaking, the "Morning Star Titan Legion" did not send out even one-third of its combat power.
I remember that in this ancient casting world, there were at least three Emperor-class machines of the President type.
However, ordinary battles don't usually involve deploying commanders-in-chief. Overall, Glaia's side has upheld the alliance and can be considered a reliable ally.
Thinking of this, Ninglu said to Alex.
“I’m satisfied with this.” He then turned his gaze to the holographic image and tapped it lightly with his finger.
"There are twelve fortresses on the eastern side of the Northern Continent. This fortress marked with a T has the strongest defensive firepower."
"The Eighth Battle Group and Glaia will jointly attack this fortress."
Alex did not answer immediately; he turned his gaze to the video screen.
With the meticulous approach of the Gleia, they assessed the fortress's defensive capabilities.
Alex's brain implant allows for rapid assessment of the fortress's area and the number of artillery pieces.
Eighteen seconds later, he said confidently.
“Lord Nimrod, the divine machinery and the Guardians are sufficient to breach this fortress.”
Seeing Alex's confident tone, Ninglu thought to himself.
A typical Gleya person is observant and has unwavering faith in their assessments, remaining steadfast even as the course of the battle changes.
They would bravely face death, without retreating.
Ninglu smiled and said, "Alex, I believe your assessment."
"But the Wheel of Flames is just the beginning of our coordinated operations; future, larger battles will require seamless teamwork."
“Lord Nimrod, I understand,” Alex replied. “I will fight alongside the Knight Lord to purify the alien fortress.”
Nimrod, considering that both the "Dawn Knight" of Sequence 6 and the "Silver Knight" of Sequence 3 of the "Twilight Giant" pathway are named after knights, named Thierry Vieira the Knight Lord.
Ninglu then issued orders to the other nine battle groups, with the exception of the Third and Seventh Battle Groups, the remaining ten battle groups would all commit different forces to participate in the final battle of the Wheel of Fire.
While issuing orders in Nimrod, Alex used his brain implant to process intelligence. En route to the airfield, he sent the battle plan to the Koje and ordered his captains to prepare for battle.
Upon returning to the Koje, Alex immediately went to the hangar, where he saw the Titan's crew, ground staff, and deck laborers busily working.
Heavy cranes rumbled as they descended from the deck dome, lifting giant shells and slender missiles and transporting them to the loading and unloading area of the weapons racks.
A transport vehicle loaded with Vulcan bombs sped past, and artillery operators were systematically adjusting the weapons.
Alex habitually straightened his collar, fastened the brass buttons on his coat, and walked up to the broad, massive hooves of the Lagos.
He nodded slightly to the crew members who were bowing, and walked toward the armored legs.
Alex followed the steps and entered the archway leading into the Titan's interior, traversing the winding corridors with low ceilings.
He moved with lightning speed; he had already memorized every bolt and rivet in Lagos.
Alex could find every hatch and every passageway with his eyes closed.
He walked to the heavy iron gate at the end of the narrow passage, where two Glorian soldiers stood guard, wearing red breastplates and green chainmail shirts.
They each wore skull masks in the style of the Gloria coat of arms, carried stun guns on their waists, and held stun batons.
Alex nodded to the agile soldier: "Captain, proceed from the lower level to the middle level."
He then placed his palm on the panel, and after the red light scanned his fingerprint, the green indicator light above the iron gate lit up.
A nearby soldier turned a lever, and the iron gate opened.
He walked up the iron mesh stairs to the cockpit and inserted the authentication card into the reader.
As the bell tolled, Alex entered the cockpit.
He stood in the center of the magnificent, vaulted cabin and began to speak.
"Command bridge, Captain Alex."
The floor beneath his feet rippled like water, forming a perfect metal disc that carried him slowly upwards to the command deck.
Alex walked to the central command chair, sat down, and began to speak.
"Technicians, please connect me to the system."
Two mechanical cult technicians dressed in red robes appeared on his left and right, and put precision signal transmission gloves on him.
The sensor fits closely to his skin, reading vital signs.
Subsequently, an EEG sensor was placed on the top of his head.
"Prepare to activate the cerebral cortex tentacles."
Alex's neck restraint ring extends from inside the head pad, with thin metal wires drawn out from the restraint ring.
Silver tendrils pierce through the corners of the eyes, climb along the optic nerve, penetrate the skull, and finally connect with the cerebral cortex.
The tentacles of his cerebral cortex filtered and diverted the influx of information, with data such as telemetry, weapon status, and fuel levels surging through his mind.
Sensing the immense power within him, the towering figure of Ning Lu flashed through his mind, and he murmured to himself.
"It feels so good to be king."
Alex immediately gave the order: "Prepare for airdrop."
While the Morning Star Titan Legion was making tense preparations, the warships of the three legions launched an orbital bombardment of the Flame Wheel Prime.
Light spears and cannonballs rained down on the green-skinned world below.
After the orbital bombardment ended, the three Primarchs simultaneously set foot on the surface of the Flame Wheel Prime.
The Space Wolves landed on the western side of the northern continent. Lehman Ruth was the first to rush out of the Stormbirds, accompanied by his wolf brothers Fredie and Gerry.
Behind him, on either side, were Lanok Rashiv and Yolin.
Flames erupted from the wolf king's azure eyes as he charged forward, leaving his offspring further and further behind.
Yolin swung his power axe, sending Sanchez away. He vented his anger at losing his challenger on the orcs.
Lanok Rashvin needed the screeching sound of his chainsaw axe shredding the greenskins to quell his anger and shame.
The Koje jettisoned Titan drop vehicles that resembled short, thick pipes.
The high-temperature resistant device operates at full speed to buffer the high temperature of friction.
Deceleration thrusters to counteract planetary gravity.
The inertial neutralizing force field protected the Titan inside, while the bolts on the internal braking frame vibrated violently during the impact.
The hatch opened, and groups of Titan mechs painted in yellow and green emerged.
The instrument panel and screens in the luxurious cockpit emitted a bluish-green glow that illuminated the Titans.
The control system of the Warlord-class Titan lit up in Alex's eyes, as if it were part of his own body.
In his mind, Titan's control system appeared, and he knew clearly that the plasma reactor was ready and the pent-up energy could be awakened at any time.
"The braking system is normal."
"Weapons ready, ammunition fully loaded."
As Alex watched the surging green tide approach, the heavy bird-gazing device of the Warlord-class Titan allowed him to pinpoint the charging greenskins.
