Chapter 295 "Weapon Master" Subdues Chief Sword Master Kaser

Chapter 295 "Weapon Master" Subdues Chief Sword Master Kaser

Mika Wright immediately felt the recoil force from the collision.

His sword was deflected by a tremendous force, but fortunately he had anticipated this and tried his best to twist his arm to control the blade.

In their first encounter, Wright proved his earlier assessment correct: to defeat Thierry, skill was the only way.

Wright, with his hands behind his back, swept his sword across the blade and delivered a "Tannville" move with his backhand, forcing Thierry back.

The "Weapon Master's" eyes flashed. Wright's attack was somewhat similar to the second move of "Osberh-Vaya," but also different.

He grew increasingly curious about the "Elvira" sword technique and used the 16th move of "Osberh-Vaya" to repeatedly stab Wright.

Wright raised the blade horizontally and deflected the swift thrust with the "Yovissa style".

Then, using the immense force exerted by Thierry, he twisted the blade with his arm, parrying two consecutive thrusts diagonally to the left and right.

The blades clashed, and the energy fields hissed and roared.

After three unsuccessful attacks, the "Weapon Master" discovered that Wright's three defensive sword techniques skillfully controlled his strength and used the potential energy and angle of the sword to deflect the force of his attacks during the clash, thus maximizing the compensation for his weakness in strength.

While Thierry was pondering, Wright launched a counterattack, pouring all his strength into a downward, diagonal slash from left to right.

The "Verabey Style," unleashed with all its might, flashed with psionic energy.

The power contained in the swordplay made the eyes of the "warriors" watching from the sidelines light up; the strength of Chief Sword Master Kaser was beyond their expectations.

The warriors were not worried about their knight lord; they were simply looking forward to seeing how he would defeat his opponents.

The "Weapon Master" twisted his arm, raising the blade and using the tip to block the edge, in accordance with the sixth principle of the "Osberh-Waya" way.

Wright was knocked back a step, then leaped at Thierry, aiming straight for Thierry's throat.

"Erka style!"

The Kassers below the arena cried out in alarm when they saw Master Wright unleash the deadly strike of the "Elvira" sword technique.

At the last possible moment, the "Weapon Master" reversed his upward arm and turned downward, the tip of his sword precisely touching the tip of Wright's sword. This was a clever application of the sixth principle of the "Osberh-Waya" Way.

The people of Kasser were shocked to see that Master Wright's Death Strike had been thwarted.

Wright realized that Thierry's swordsmanship was superb, and even disregarding Thierry's advantage in strength and speed, he would have a hard time defeating him.

As Wright pondered, the "Weapon Master" displayed extraordinary agility and burst forth with astonishing speed. He lunged forward and launched a fierce attack using the seventh slashing technique of the "Osberh-Vaya" method.

Wright realized that Thierry's fatal blow was unavoidable, but he did not panic.

In this situation, the only worthwhile response is to weaken the controller's attack.

There are many forms of sword techniques to deal with this situation, which are collectively called "Geku Afu style," meaning to pull back from the brink.

He imagined Thierry as an untamable steed, a wild horse that would charge headlong off a cliff no matter how much he tried to stop it.

The sword Ian in Wright's hand transformed into a long "reins," and he was able to control its movements freely.

Thierry wanted to use a lunge stance to deliver a powerful strike, so he should limit the space for the lunge stance.

He assumed a defensive stance, holding the sword with both hands, the hilt above his shoulders, the blade pointing downwards at a 35-degree angle to the horizontal.

The "Weapon Master" could tell from Wright's blade that if he sidestepped or stepped closer, the enemy's side blade would seize the opportunity to launch a charged attack.

The "Weapon Master" understood Wright's purpose in attacking, and he forced himself to focus on his lower body, believing that he, as a giant, was not used to attacking the area below the waist.

He believed that my attack indicated a low center of gravity and a loss of balance.
The "weapon master's" eyes flashed, and he decided to make Wright believe that he had the upper hand.

He then deliberately exposed his weakness, swinging his charged sword at Wright's lower body.

Wright sidestepped, his "reins" influencing the height and direction of the opponent's attack.

As he slid, he swung his sword at Thierry's arm.

The "Weapon Master's" eyes flashed. Following the 23rd rule of the "Osberh-Vaya" Way, he seized the opportunity and unleashed a slash.

The charged blade struck the blade of Wright's sword with a twist and a flick.

Wright felt an irresistible force on the sword in his hand, and his sword immediately flew out of his hand, flying several meters away.

“Master Wright… has been defeated…” The Kassers stared wide-eyed, unable to believe what they were seeing.

“I have lost, lost to your swordsmanship,” Wright said bitterly. He knew that if Thierry had used his strength and agility, he might have already defeated him.

"Your swordsmanship is also admirable; few can match it," the "Weapon Master" exclaimed.

"The 'Elvira' swordsmanship of the Kassians is indeed superb."

After a series of exchanges, the "Weapon Master" understood why the Black Emperor had chosen this location as the recruitment world for the Eighth Legion.

The quality of the Kasser soldiers and their swordsmanship prove that they are excellent warriors.

The "weapon master" looked at the sword blade on the ground and asked curiously:

"Your blades, infused with spiritual energy, allow you to unleash the full power of your swordsmanship."

“Yes,” Wright said, “Master Kaser, a master swordsmith, possesses exceptional sword-making skills.”

"Master swordsmiths will forge swords for nobles using rune stones. If a noble wears a sword for a long time, he will be affected by the rune array and gain spiritual energy."

"But we cannot use the psionic energy we obtain freely; we can only infuse it into the sword to exert its power."

The "Weapon Master" frowned; he had never heard of such a method that could generate psychic powers.

However, it would be too much of a coincidence if every nobleman could generate psychic energy, and Wright did not use psychic energy throughout the entire battle, he only infused psychic energy into the blade.

Thierry asked the think tank, "Is this even possible?"

"My lord, it is indeed possible."

"Besides the mainstream psionic factions, there are also special technological factions that can create special psionic items."

"The think tank director is studying the Heartforged Staff discovered by Medusa. Only a rare tech-based psionicist who is proficient in both technology and psionic mysteries can activate the Heartforged Staff."

The think tank looked at the Kasser blade that Wright had retrieved and continued.

"Master swordsmith Kaser should possess some psionic skills related to technology."

"The nobles of Kaser, by carrying swords forged from runestones for a long time, will acquire special Eota-level psionic energy, which is the lowest level of psionic energy that can be consciously used."

"The nobles of Kaser cannot use psionic energy or other spells; they can only enhance the power of their swords."

Thierry never imagined that the master swordsmith Cassell could create such a blade.

[What a pleasant surprise!]
When the knight lord subdued the Kasers, selected eligible children as candidates for new recruits, and formed the Kaser auxiliary army, Nimrod was also meeting with the warriors.

"My lord, thank you for your support. Shield Guard Laurent and I will select 248 men from the Necromondans, and together with the two of us, we will form a complete company."

Lucifer Hewittio said gratefully, "Now is the time for us to repay you."

"Please accept our command."

Ninglu tapped the back of the chair with his fingers, pondered for a moment, and then said, "In that case, you should board the Shadow of Royal Power and follow me on the expedition."

He decided to first lead the "Lucifer Blackguards" to Osiris to fight against the Mind Controlling Seeds, and then decide whether to use them as guards for important figures or as regular combat troops based on their performance.

“Yes, sir,” Theo said excitedly, and Laurent also looked delighted.

Although they protected Patton Drake and participated in several battles, that was different from being an independent fighting force.

After the two left, Arsène Dunn spoke to Ninglu.

"My Lord, the Emperor has summoned you, requesting that you accompany him to Nocturne to retrieve the discovered Primarch."

Upon hearing this, Ning Lu thought to himself: [Nocturne Star and Osiris are both in the Limit Star Region, and there has been no rebellion yet. It wouldn't hurt to accompany Old Man Huang on this trip.]

Furthermore, fire lizards are very likely an ingredient in potions.
With that in mind, he said, "Have the navigator leader, Eden Wiescher, plan the route and prepare to set sail."

Two days later, the fleet, centered on the Queen Glory-class battleships HMS Shadow of the Throne and HMS Judgment named after Howard Finder, set sail.
