Chapter 301 Rescue of the 3rd Legion

Chapter 301 Rescue of the Thirteenth Legion

Glenn Wosoto has just given orders to sink as many rebel ships as possible before the flagship is sunk.

Suddenly, they were saved from a desperate situation as the warships of the 33rd Fleet arrived on the battlefield.

Wosoto took a deep breath to calm himself down from his rapidly changing emotions and gave the command to the Sound Array Master.

"Send a communication request."

While waiting for feedback, Wosotto turned his gaze to the holographic image.

The blurry images provided by the long-range ornithometer outlined the silhouettes of two void behemoths.

Wosoto knew that it was the Eleventh Legion's Primarchy Shadow and the new Queen of Glory-class battleship Judgment built on Mars.

He looked at the screen and immediately noticed that all the video screens were filled with signal.

A dense barrage of bullets covered the rebel warships.

The area around his flagship, The Thunder of Thesaran, was marked by a burst of intense red light that then vanished.

At the same time, the alarm signal disappeared rapidly.

His flagship was saved from danger.

Wosoto discovered that the attacked rebel warships did not retreat, but instead surged frantically toward the "Shadow of Order" fleet.

In terms of numbers, the rebel warships still held an absolute advantage, spewing dense barrages of bullets into the dark space.

Wosoto immediately gave the order: "Artillery commander, attack! Provide support to friendly forces!"

The Shadow of Kings, Captain Diana Pauline, sits in a chair surrounded by cables.

Runes flashed rapidly in the surrounding niches.

Diana navigates the ocean of data, mastering billions of readings of the battle.

As a "mind reader," Diana's mental body received two minor enhancements, and the powerful cat lying at her feet greatly improved her brainpower, giving her, who was already far superior to ordinary people, data processing capabilities comparable to most of the Shadow Order.

Based on the actual situation of the "Shadow of Order," Gabriel, the Lord of Armaments, made adaptive adjustments to the Simulated Sanctuary.

The processing volume at each level has been reduced by a factor of ten, allowing commanders at all levels who have not undergone large-scale cybernetic modifications to complete data processing within their capabilities.

When the volume of data decreases, choices are faced.

Gabriel filtered through all data types, ultimately selecting only the key parameters.

The simulacrum of the Eleventh Legion is not a scaled-down version of the Iron Hand, but rather a shadowy version of Order that focuses on more important data.

Diana possessed all the key parameters influencing the course of the battle, including the position and relative location of each ship...

Diana experienced a more efficient and novel command mode than the previous method of reviewing video screens.

The data captured by the bird divination instrument flooded into the simulated sanctuary, allowing her to grasp the entire battle situation more comprehensively and from more dimensions than in previous void battles.

Enemy ship A-1, 104,900 kilometers from HMS Shadow of the Throne, phase 8-0-5, angle of repose 2...

...}
Diana, along with a hundred officers in the strategy room, were working at lightning speed, conducting simulations in a virtual thought space.

The plans devised by everyone are passed on to each other, and each person evaluates each plan in the virtual thinking space of the simulated sanctuary.

In a flash, they determined that Diana's firepower plan was the best option when attacking a hundred enemy warships, including A-1 and A-2.

It was also determined that Staff Officer Willock's firepower plan was the best option for attacking the enemy ship A-28.

The officers, including Diana, had a deep understanding of the details of the final fire strike plan.

The collective will of the officers was communicated to the operators and gunnery officers of every ship.

The Shadow of Kings turned three degrees to port, and its two flank ether cannons fired, striking the largest light cruiser in the rebel fleet and shattering its Void Shield.

The bow beams shimmered, tearing through the light of the enemy light cruiser marked A-1. Every shell fired from the large guns on either side hit its target with pinpoint accuracy.

The warships of the entire fleet faced different directions, like jagged teeth on a single gear, but the firepower of each warship was perfectly coordinated.

The No. 4 gun on the port side of HMS Kings Shadow was deployed to work in conjunction with the No. 3 gun on the starboard side of HMS Sword of Vostonia of the 11th Battle Group, simultaneously striking the port and starboard sides of the light cruiser-class enemy ship.

The No. 5 macro gun on the starboard side of HMS King Power Shadow was assigned to attack destroyer D-15.

The "Shadow of Order" warship's many destructive weapons are either coordinated to strike enemy ships together, or assigned to attack enemy ships individually.

The objectives are different, but they do not interfere with each other, and there is no waste of firepower.

The "Shadow of Order" fleet, in perfect coordination, focused its first wave of attacks on the rebel fleet's light cruiser-class capital ships.

Diana enjoyed the fruits of the first wave of attacks and also received feedback.

Void Shield B-16 on the starboard side of the HMS Kings Shadow is overloaded due to concentrated fire from eight enemy ships.

However, without any operator intervention, the Void Shield Generator activates the backup array the instant it is overloaded.

The energy return process was completed within seconds, and the teardrop-shaped energy shield was automatically generated before the next round of attacks.

The use of automatically generated Void Shields reduced the crew of the Shadow of the Throne by 56,000, but greatly improved efficiency.

On the Thunder of Thesaran, Wosotho was astonished to see that the Eleventh Legion's fleet was perfectly coordinated, destroying about one-fifth of the enemy ships in the first wave of attack.

What surprised him even more was that, despite being attacked by countless rebel fleets, "Shadow of Order" only lost a dozen or so communication ships without void shield protection and escort ships that were not sailing independently.

The "Shadow of Order" fleet did not lose a single independent voidship.

As Wosoto was surprised, the voice of the Sound Array Master came through the communication headset.

"Commander, Primarch Nimrod has agreed to the communication request. Communication connection established."

“Lord Nimrod,” Wosoto said gratefully, “thank you for your rescue, which saved my fleet from a humiliating annihilation.”

"Sons of War, the Empire will remember your immense sacrifices in the suppression of the rebellion." Ninglu's authoritative voice rang out in the communication headset.

The words of the Primogen brought Wosoto a sense of relief.

“Wosoto, your legion has suffered heavy losses and should withdraw from the battlefield immediately.”

"The rebellion in the Osiris Sector will be dealt with by my Legion."

Wosoto's eyes were filled with resentment, but he knew that this was the reasonable choice at the moment.

The Thirteenth Army suffered heavy losses, and its flagship was damaged.

"Lord Ninglu, there should still be war children on the surface holding out against the rebel siege. If possible, please lend a helping hand."

“Of course,” Nimrod’s majestic voice rang out again, “my offspring will rescue the surviving sons of war.”

"Lord Ninglu, thank you again for your assistance." After expressing his gratitude once more, Wosoto switched communication channels only after hearing a dead tone on the communication channel, concealing the bitterness and frustration in his heart, and issued the order.

"Return."

On the bridge of the Shadow of Kings, Nimrod, seated on the black throne, watched as Arsena Dunn manipulated the control staff, presenting a holographic image before him.

"My lord, the fleet has gained the upper hand in the void battle."

"The Seventh Fleet has arrived at the battlefield and joined in clearing out the remaining enemy ships."

"All participating Orders have identified their targets: Xenomorphs with the ability to manipulate human minds."

Nimrod didn't know much about the mind-controlling species of Osiris, but the alien beings that manipulated humans were already valuable directional intelligence.

Unlike the Sons of War who fight to the death without knowing anything, the Shadows of Order understand that the goal of war is to find the aliens they control, not to pointlessly slaughter human rebels.
