Chapter 359 In the current War Council, I'm not the only one who supports the use of psionic energy.

As the year 843 approached, the battle in the Abyss of Colony was gradually coming to an end.

The First and Fourteenth Legions, carrying honor and pride, were the first to depart in the second month.

The various battle groups of the 11th Army Corps also began to leave in batches.

Nimrod led the 11th Legion on its return journey to Vostonia in October.

The Sixth Squadron was left behind to continue clearing out the remaining Mitu aliens.

In the Primitive Palace, Nimrod listened to Arsène Dunne's report on the war between the Mitu and the Primitive.

"My lord, I have compiled the reports from all participating factions."

"We suffered the worst losses in history, with a total of 10,480 dead."

"Among them, the 11th Regiment suffered the most severe losses, with a total of 2,913 men killed in action."

Names flashed through Ning Lu's mind, and he could even match many of them with his own image.

"The number of casualties in the First Army Corps is uncertain, but my advisors estimate it to be between 8,500 and 10,500."

"The number of casualties suffered by the Fourteenth Army Corps is fairly certain, at approximately 5,700."

Ning Lu nodded slightly, acknowledging the enormous price paid to resolve the issue of the Mitu alien.

He acquired a sector, a world with mineral deposits meeting the standards of the Forging World, became a vassal of the Forging World ally Mezoa, and gained the allegiance of the Vironi Knights.

Until the Second Danish War in 862, there were no powerful adversaries to fight, so I could develop steadily for a period of time.

I should make good use of the divination opportunity that comes every three years to enhance my abilities.

Yes, we should also consider preparing in advance to deal with Ran Dan's threat and perform relevant divination.
As Ninglu pondered, the Primitive Attendant continued:

"My lord, the Emperor has convened a new war council, which will begin at 10:00 AM five days from now, according to ship standard time."

"I see."

Five days later, Nimrod's psionic projection crossed the void and appeared behind Terra's golden palace, glancing at the long table.

His first joy was that he was no longer surrounded by Riemann Ruth, whom he disliked, but by Robert Guilliman.

Ruth sat between Guilliman and Vorkan, and it was expected that he would never come near her again, at least not during the War Council.

Nimrod sat in the row, and Magnus sat at the back.

Horus remained seated to the right of Macado, flanked by Fernus Manus, Roger Dorn, Hannibal, Forgrim, and a new member.

Like Ninglu, the new member also has a pair of wings.

The difference is that the wings on his back are white.

Horus Lupecal, sitting opposite him, introduced the new member to Nimrod with a smile and in the tone of a good older brother.

“Nimrod, we welcome back a new brother, Saint Gilles.”

Ninglu nodded slightly and looked at Saint Gilles.

“Welcome back, Saint Gilles,” Nimrod said with a smile, adding that the camp supporting the use of psionic energy had grown stronger once again.

“Nimrod, I often hear Horus mention you.” Saint Gilles smiled.

"You made him afraid to slow down."

Saint Gilles' joke immediately resonated with many.

“I can attest to that,” Forgrim said, flashing the same perfect smile.

Both Fugrim and Sanguiles accepted Horus's teachings and fought alongside him, and no one in the War Council doubted their authenticity.

Ning Lu combined his memories to examine the relationships between them.

[Forgrim had a good relationship with Horus, but was closer to Manus.]

Saint Gilles and Horus were best friends, even joking with each other. After Horus became the War Master, Saint Gilles was his staunch supporter, even standing up for him.
As Ninglu pondered, Horus's eyes flashed.

He did indeed accelerate his expedition because of Nimrod. As the battle between the Shadow of Order and Mitu began, Shadowmoon Wolf slowed down and began to use diplomacy to reclaim the human world in a more glorious form.

Realizing that the many planets of the Collonid Abyss would become Nimrod's new medals, he immediately quickened his pace.

"That's why Father entrusted the Legion to us, to bring more worlds into the Empire."

"In this great expedition, no one wants to fall behind, and neither do I."

Horus laughed and said that he would steer the discussion about himself, which might be seen as jealousy, towards the goal of motivating his brothers.

"You should also speed up your conquest; your father awaits your good news."

“Ninlu, if your witchcraft-wielding brats can’t handle it,” Ruth said, baring his teeth, “my pack of wolves is happy to help you.”

Before Nimrod could speak, the enraged Cyclops Magnus maintained his gentlemanly demeanor:

"In the barbaric days, people savagely burned those they called wizards with fire."

"This is a barbaric past, revealing that our race is not afraid to kill one another, and that fear-driven words have killed thousands of people just to appease the ignorant who cannot accept new ideas."

"I believe that there should be no fools among those who lead the Empire forward in the War Council."

Saint Gilles applauded Magnus's remarks and spoke with a smile.

“The use of psionic energy will benefit us.”

"Their ability to use psionic energy and attack like other Astartes gives us more battlefield options."

Ning Lu smiled and looked around at everyone.

[I'm not the only one in the current War Council who supports the use of psionic powers.]
Just then, a voice as hard as rock rang out.

“The use of psionic energy is extremely dangerous. Although Father agrees, it should still be used with caution.”

Ninglu looked in the direction of the voice and saw that the speaker was Dorn.

[Yes, Dorn opposes the use of psionic powers, but he is not a staunch opponent.]
Nimrod knew that Dorn was always outspoken, but he didn't take it to heart.

Makado coughed lightly and ended the argument.

"It should be noted that this is also the Emperor's intention."

The group then began to chat, with Manus and Fugrim discussing forging techniques, and Vokhan occasionally chiming in.

Hannibal began, “Nimrod, I made a brief stop in Incaladion.”

"Your offspring have helped to rebuild the world's order and restore its function."

Ning Lu's gaze was deep; Hannibal's expeditionary fleet was about to venture deep into the extreme star field.

Two words suddenly flashed through his mind: Attila and the Jemenga Starry Sky Stone Tablet.

To confirm his suspicions, he asked, "Hannibal, is your fleet's target the eastern side of the galaxy?"

“Yes,” Hannibal said with an elegant smile, “I have heard that the Xenomorphs are harassing many human worlds.”

Ning Lu fell into deep thought, pondering to himself.

I recall that the Imperial records state that the Yemenga Skystone was discovered by the Lost Primarch leading the expeditionary fleet in the early stages of the Great Crusade.

The original eleventh Primarch hadn't returned by this point in time; that's when Hannibal discovered it.
Attila is not of much value to Nimrod. Although the "Attila Barbarians" are elite in the future Astral Army, they do not particularly fit the characteristics of any chapter.

But the Jemenga Starry Sky Monolith is different; it is an artifact of the space necromancers.

I remember Hannibal discovered something incredible, what could it be?

If there is indeed a major discovery, then it would truly be worthwhile to consult the oracle.
As Ninglu pondered, the psionic projections of Old Man Huang and Constantine Waldo appeared in the Golden Palace.
