Chapter 387 Iron Cavalry Type Terminator
Chapter 387 Iron Cavalry Type Terminator
After capturing the Longbeard-class dwarf giant cruiser, Nimrod immediately ordered the Honor Guard to conduct a search.
Arsena Dunn approached him. “My lord, the Mechanicus’s Ark has arrived. The Royal Court monks of the Second Chapter, begin changing into their armor as you command.”
“Malevolus heard that you have captured a Skotian warship. He is very interested in the Short-breed technology and hopes to develop it on board.”
"Let him come."
Ning Lu's gaze was deep, and he thought to himself.
Excluding the all-around master Huang, among the Primarchs who excelled in forging, Fenus Manus, Vograim, and Vokan, Malevolus was the top armor craftsman of this era.
Horus Lupecal and I both had our armor made by his own hands, and even Manus's armor was completed with his help.
Perhaps there are even unknown prototypes; the armor was also created by him.
Ninglu also thought that although the Iron Cavalry type Terminator had a prototype in the early days and had been under development, the final design was based on the knowledge and data that Malevolus and Manus had acquired when they were making the armor.
Now that I am the "Corrupted Baron," Malevolus has been sent to the Galactic Core to collect data on the Ironclad Terminator for improvement. Isn't this the perfect opportunity to "corrupt" him?
By gaining his loyalty, all the information on the Iron Cavalry Terminator was in my hands.
Afterwards, it will be easier to have him work with Mikel to research armor suitable for extraordinary individuals.
Thinking of this, Ninglu walked to the Supreme Commander's corpse and examined the armor on his body.
The armor of the Supreme Commander's corpse gleamed, and the blood from the corpse, along with the fact that it was being tossed around by the "Corrupted Baron," did not affect the armor's pristine condition in the slightest.
The entire set of layered armor is seamlessly connected, with each armor plate connected together without any gaps, forming a unified whole.
The meticulously crafted armor gleamed with golden light.
The "Corrupted Baron" gripped his shoulder with his right hand, his arm bulging, and squeezed hard.
A few seconds later, Ning Lu's eyes showed a hint of surprise.
The armor didn't deform despite being crushed by his immense strength. After being promoted to "Corrupted Baron," his power should surpass that of Vokhan when he unleashes his full power.
Nimrod's bare-handed strength was only weaker than Manus's silver hands when he obtained the Void Dragon Fragment; if covered with the Burner's golden liquid metal, the lethality would be similar.
Even power armor, which he could easily crush, was not broken by him.
[Armor crafted from the finest alloy!]
As expected of the Supreme Commander, he has some good stuff.
Ninglu picked up the Supreme Commander's corpse with his right hand. It felt rather heavy, which further confirmed his judgment.
The technique for forging the finest alloy is only mastered by the Space Dwarves.
The armor forged from it is so powerful that even among the dwarves, only the High Commander who commands the Hearthborn warriors could afford it.
Malevolus saw it as if it were the most precious treasure.
Ninglu smiled; the plan to "corrupt" Malevolus was now easier to achieve.
He carried the corpse of the supreme ruler and strode forward.
Two sidereal hours later, Malevolus walked onto the bridge, his gaze lingering on the Primarch for a moment before turning to the corpse at his feet.
The technical priest's eyes lit up when he saw the armor.
The master blacksmith, who had forged countless suits of armor, instantly judged that the armor's forging techniques and materials were no less than those of the Imperial Guard's Radiant Gold Armor.
He suppressed the urge to immediately go to the corpse and conduct research, and respectfully walked to the Primarch and bowed.
"Lord Nimrod."
Ning Lu smiled and said:
"Malevoles, it's been a long time."
“Thank you for your concern, sir,” Malevolus said with a smile. “The armor on the Skorte corpse beneath your feet is of excellent craftsmanship. May I have it for study?”
“Of course,” Ninglu said with a smile. “I happen to be very interested in the craftsmanship of this armor, and I would like to study it with you.”
While Rosario was waging Void Wars and clearing out the remaining space dwarf fleet in the system, the Second Chapter, with the assistance of the Mechanicus Tech-Priests, began upgrading the Ironclad Terminators. The Radiant was also undergoing upgrades and the construction of a teleportation platform.
The towering adamantite pillars were erected under the guidance of the technical priests, and the control panel was connected to the Iron Cavalry Terminator.
The 11th Army Corps launched a ground offensive, with four battle groups attacking the underground city.
The second battle group, which was the first to be equipped with the Iron Cavalry Terminator, launched an attack on Hearthburg as the main force.
"My lord, we have received a teleportation beacon."
"Prepare to teleport," Wilshire, clad in the Iron Cavalry-style Terminator armor, gave the order.
A moment later, after receiving the report, a group of royal monks entered the teleportation platform.
A dazzling light shone, and a piercing screech could be heard throughout the entire bridge.
The electric current surged forth like a snake, whipping fiercely against the adamantite pillar before instantly subsiding.
Beneath Rosario Fortress, a radiant light shone like clouds parting, and a squad of Ironclad Terminators appeared in the mine tunnels.
The captain activated his communicator and reported to the lord on orbit:
"My lord, teleportation successful."
“Let’s go.” Wilshire stepped toward the teleportation platform, feeling a heavy weight on his feet as he moved.
The teleportation device hummed as it gathered energy once more, and the Tech Priest's mechanical tentacles swayed as he typed a string of characters onto the control panel.
A dazzling light shone once more in the underground city as Wilshire led his team out.
The Hearthlings raised their automatic parallel bomb guns and fired at the newly appeared black-armored giant.
Dense beams of light struck the additional shields on the plate armor, but after breaking through the shields, they did not cause any real damage to the thick armor.
Wilshire took a step forward. Although the Iron Cavalry Terminator had an automatic balancing device built in, the enormous weight of the armor still made it difficult for him to run.
He strode forward heavily, shouting into the battleband's sonic channel:
"Shadows of Order!"
"Today we step into the underground of Rosario, and we will win new glory for the Chapter and our father!"
"Our moment will be etched on the body of every person we kill! For the Father of Genetics!"
Wilshire silently chanted in his heart, "For the Black Emperor!"
"For the Father of Genes!" the Shadow Order members of the Second Warband shouted in unison.
Wilshire activated the Cyclone missile launcher on his shoulder, and the missiles, trailing sparks, slammed into the most densely populated area of the Ironborn.
Boom boom boom!
With the roar of bombs, the Ironborn's mechanical shell was torn apart.
Wilshire raised his right arm, and the Reaper Cannon roared and unleashed a barrage of bullets at the Hearthborn Warrior.
The Iron Cavalry-type Terminators lined up side by side, forming an ironclad battle line.
The beam of light fired by the Hearthborn Warrior pierced through the shield of the Ironclad Terminator and then vanished without a trace.
The Terminators fired explosive projectiles that struck the gray armor of the Rosario clan in droves, reaping the lives of countless enemies.
Wilshire swung his left arm, the Ironclad Terminator granting it immense strength, and the relic Thunder Hammer slammed into the Ironborn's metal body.
The immense force smashed the body apart, causing the Ironborn's chest to cave in.
The resilient space dwarf front was breached by the iron cavalry.
