Chapter 390 A Thousand Sons Temporarily Transferred for Study (Third Update, Seeking Monthly Tickets)

Nimrod has deduced, based on Apophis's diplomatic report, who is opposing him.

They are the only Hearthborn who are closest to Wotan and can converse with him, and are responsible for seeking wisdom from their ancestors or interpreting the results of their output.

Most space dwarves have low warp sensitivity, but the Grimnir sages are different; they were given greater psionic sensitivity by the Wotan Core during the cloning process.

Each space dwarf's talents and future profession are determined when Wotan selects them from the genetic code library.

Based on his program, Wotan created soldiers—the Hearthborn Warriors, the Craftsmen who repaired vehicles and served as heavy artillerymen, the Miners who acted as berserkers, and the Hunter-born who were responsible for vanguard and infiltration.

Ninglu knew that different alliances would place one or more of their Wotans in different locations.

It may be hidden deep within a heavily fortified underground vault, or sealed within an impregnable fortress, protected by layers of shields, or perhaps placed on the Alliance's most powerful flagship.

“Your judgment is correct. Apophis discovered the Skots, who seem to be guarding something.”

"It could be something, or it could be a secret. We don't know what it is, but it must be of great importance to the Skots."

Magnus did not mention psychic powers, but Nimrod knew that Apophis must have engaged in a mental battle with at least one of the Sages of Grimnir and made some discoveries.

[It seems that Magnus does not yet know for certain that Wotan exists.]

The possibility that Magnus is putting on a show or acting covertly cannot be ruled out.

However, Apophis may not necessarily be able to break through the space dwarves' mental defenses despite the interference from the Sage Grimnir; we'll have to wait and see how Magnus proceeds.
Ning Lu thought of this and said:
“My plan is based on this. I have ordered the new Ramirez-class star fortress to be forged by Sepra Mondy to set sail for Caligum Gate and then be delivered to Skot.”

"My main force will rely on Star Fortress to fight the Space Dwarves in a decisive battle."

"If the Skotians truly have a secret they must protect, forces from other star systems will come to their aid, weakening their defenses and creating an opportunity."

“Your plan is feasible,” Magnus said, and seeing that Peturabo still showed no intention of speaking, he continued, “What about my and Peturabo’s legions?”

"Based on the intelligence we currently have, the D-1519 system is the largest shipbuilding base outside of Skote."

As Ning Lu spoke, Arcena Dunn raised the control lever, and the star map unfolded.
