Uranus V, the territory of House Othello occupies nearly a quarter of the entire moon.

Inside the opulent villa, Ninglu drank the delicious black tea served by a maid, and heard murmurs in his ears.

"You may leave now; I need to rest for a while."

Arsena Dunn bowed slightly and, before leaving, reminded him, "My lord, the banquet hosted for you by the Othello family will begin in two hours."

"I see."

After watching the silver-haired attendant leave, and having left the Spear of Dionysus on the Shadow of the Throne, he decided to head directly to the "Land of Chaos".

The "Corrupted Baron" raised his hand and drew the Vaal Sword, its spirituality spreading, "shifting the concept" to make it appear as an ordinary blade.

The Gene Prototype flicked its wrist, rapidly striking a distorted symbol on the ground.

In the blink of an eye, he finished sketching the Sosmes runes and created a closed space in the 200-square-meter suite where he was resting.

As the "Corrupted Baron" sheathed his sword, he looked around at the entire space created by Sosmes.

Composed of countless shapes of different colors, including gray inverted equilateral triangles and green squares...

Through repeated use and disassembly, coupled with the study of the graphic, "The Corrupted Baron" deconstructs the Sosmes Symbol from his own perspective.

The gray inverted equilateral triangle serves to suppress psionic energy; it was this triangle that allowed Magnus to sever all connections between the Thousand Sons and the subspace during the First Council.

While Ninglu was pondering, a thought struck him, and he arrived in the "Land of Chaos".

He discovered on the shaded side that there was an additional, shining dark red sphere of light, which was constantly expanding and contracting.

The "Corrupted Baron" then arrived at the fourth level of space. With a thought, his spirituality spread out, instantly connecting this level of space with the dark red orb in the shadow plane and Ramsay.

After being promoted to "Corrupted Baron", his authority in the previously opened spaces was also improved, and he could control them much more smoothly than before.

On the Shadow of Royal Power, inside the think tank's restricted area, black mist rises from the altar.

The "Secret Prayer Man" felt a boiling, burning sensation within his body. He slightly raised his head and saw a whirlwind suddenly appear, lifting five crystal bottles filled with Siren Dust and flying them toward the gate.

“My Lord, I made a discovery while collecting the Siren’s Dust. Please listen to me.”

The black mist enveloped and swallowed the body of the "Secret Prayer Man," while he felt something inside him melting rapidly.

Ramsey snapped out of his daze and found himself in a mysterious, unknown space.

The "Mystic" discovered that his inspiration was useless here; he could only see within a two-meter radius around him.

Deep within the black fog, a towering figure sits atop the throne.

"Ramsey, well done, you've collected the Siren Dust for me."

The "secret prayer person" maintains the inverted posture with their hands together.

"My lord, I have arrived at the area shrouded in Siren Dust aboard a transport ship..."

As the story unfolded, the "secret man" felt a burning, boiling sensation within his body, as if something was rapidly dissolving.

“I heard a broken voice that told me, ‘It is a god of the material world…’”

"Based on the information the Primarch's servant told me before I set off, I believe that the Star God fragment that invaded the Gate of Elysium is bound somewhere, and he wants me to free it."

Ning Lu nodded slightly. "I will deal with him when the time is right." He judged that the Star God fragment should be a Supreme Star God composed of about ten fragments. Since he was not yet confident in getting his hands on it, he decided not to take any action for the time being.

The Black Emperor's concise words stirred up a huge wave within the "Secret Prayer Man," and Ramsey felt as if the stars within him were shattering.

“You have already mastered the power I have given you. After I send you back to the altar, I will grant you new power.”

“After becoming a ‘listener,’ when you go back to that area, you may gain strength from the sounds.”

“But be careful. Once you feel your will being attacked, immediately ascend to the third level of the Thelma state of mind and give up immediately. You must pray to me every day, and I will decide whether you continue.”

The "Listeners" are possibly the highest-potential sequence among all Sequence 8s; they may even acquire abilities far exceeding those of lower-level Extraordinary Beings.

Their strength depends entirely on the abilities they acquire from unknown sources; extraordinary abilities from mid-sequence and high-sequence sources are not impossible.

But gaining powerful abilities comes at a price; the "listener" may become mentally corrupted or even go insane due to the whispers they hear.

Using powerful abilities is both a physical burden and a test of the mind.

Nimrod allowed Ramsay to continue because the Supreme Star God was clearly bound somewhere and had limited influence. Otherwise, the old man wouldn't have allowed the Empire to make the Gate of Elysium one of the two major hubs for interstellar travel in the solar system, and no disasters occurred until the "Great Rift" unfolded.

More importantly, Ramsay is different from ordinary "listeners". Astartes' mind is more steadfast than that of ordinary extraordinary beings, and he has honed his will for a long time and has mastered the third level of the Thelma mind.

“Yes, my lord, I will remember your command,” Ramsay replied.

After sending Ramsay back to the Shadow of the Throne, Nimrod went to the first level of space and instructed the space apes to use materials such as the ear of the one-eyed owl to prepare the materials for Sequence 8 "The Listener".

A moment later, a bottle of dark red potion flew out of the door and landed in Ramsey's hand.

"Thanks be to my Lord."

After thanking the Black Emperor, Ramsey did not hesitate and tilted his head back to put the black, red, ear-shaped gelatinous potion into his mouth.

He immediately heard a soft, continuous whisper in his ear.

Ramsay strictly followed the Legion's psionic canon and, while still an apprentice, found his own warp imagery: a blood-red gate.

Now, the door was pushed open a crack, and a cacophony of voices came from the other side.

"Let me tell you, a great battle once broke out at the Gate of Bliss. Hehe, the existing records are incomplete..." A joking voice rang out from behind the gate.

"I'm going to tell you a story, a secret story."

"..."

Ramsey gathered his thoughts; his willpower training had enabled him to overcome curiosity and resist temptation.

He focused on controlling the power emanating from the potion, thinking to himself.

After becoming a “listener,” my inspiration was further enhanced, and I was able to hear even more voices.

I can now even be considered a prophetic psionicist.
Ramsay knew through the Vladian data crystals that prophetic psionicists could receive revelation from the warp in various ways, and listening to whispers was one of them.

My Lord also warned me to be careful in "listening."
