Chapter 435 Old Man Huang Selects Ninglu to Accompany Him

Nimrod's psionic projection crossed the void, and upon glancing around, he noticed that the seating arrangements among the Primarchs had changed somewhat.

Having completed the first phase of his expedition and opened up the route to Terra, Robert Guilliman rose to third place, sitting to the right of Horus Lupecal.

To his right are, in order, Roger Dorn, Riemann Ruth, Saint Gilles, Vaucan and Magnus.

The First Legion grew rapidly after Ryan Eljonsen's return, and between him and Nimrod, only Finus Manus stood out.

To Ryan's left are Hannibal, Peturabo, and Fogrem, in that order.

When Fugrim saw Nimrod, a perfect smile appeared on his face.

"Ninglu, thank you for your gift."

"It's simply a work of art, as beautiful as the double-headed eagle on the breastplate of my legion's armor."

"The Skyhawk Shuttle has indeed given us a completely new image, providing us with a more suitable aircraft in many situations." A perfect smile appeared on Saint Geres's face.

“The Stormbirds are too rigid,” Horus said, looking at his friend. “The Aquila Shuttle shows another side, making diplomatic affairs go much more smoothly.”

After Nimrod and Magnus discussed the Dawn Star campaign, the Emperor and Constantine Waldo appeared at the meeting.

After everyone bowed, the Emperor looked around at them and casually asked Magnus and Perturabo about the evacuation operation from Dawn Star.

Magnus gave a more detailed report, but still made no mention of the existence of the subspace entity Sistan.

After the briefing concluded, Makado began by saying:
"The Ministry of the Interior clerks documented and publicized the 'Dawn Star Evacuation' operation, and many worlds rejoiced at the Empire's performance in the face of disaster."

Ninglu nodded slightly. He knew that the helmet design of the Mark III inspired the future helmet design of the Mark IV, and the wedge-shaped helmet was the basis for the unique beak helmet of the Mark VI.

The holographic image disappeared, and the Mars Foundry Director continued.

"The Cult of Machines will provide new types of armor to each legion to prepare for future frontal battles."

Upon hearing this, Ninglu knew that Old Man Huang was referring to Motalian.

“I want one of you to choose to accompany me to Barbaros to find your brother.”

The emperor's gaze swept over everyone, finally settling on Ning Lu.

“Ninlu, you can get to Barbaros quickly through the Caligum Gate.”

“Come with me.”

Nimrod had no interest in accompanying the Emperor to welcome back Mortarian, a staunch opponent of psionic power.

But then I thought, perhaps the alien—the Overlord—is an ingredient in the potion.

Nimrod also realized that he did not plan to launch a new campaign in the short term. He would only consult the oracle of Gaddin after the next prophecy die had cooled down in 855.

Thinking of this, he answered the command.

"As you wish."
