Chapter 457 "The Biologist"

Chapter 457 "The Biologist"

The capital of Gadinal.

Sylvin Deka walked into the interrogation room. He stood before the railing and looked down at the warrior whose armor had been stripped off. His head was the same size as the mediator's torso beside him.

His smooth skin was somewhat pale due to blood loss, but his body still showed remarkable resilience to injury.

His body was bound in golden amber, both arms crushed by industrial clamps, yet he still looked stronger than an hour ago when he brought him back.

His body is slowly recovering.

He squinted and looked down at the jewel-like diodes and the flat-lined radium-painted instruments.

Deka looked at the shadow of order and thought of the testosterone-driven, extremely angry warrior caste and the emotionally deficient law enforcement caste.

They share the same ideal of obedience, but without such obvious innate defects, a design that is clearly superior even to the mental abilities of their genetic caste.

The mediator removed the leather sheath from his leg, which held the spiked club in place, and prepared to attack the giant.

But Deka smiled slightly and used his psionic powers to make him retreat.

Time is running out, and High Lord Uriah is waiting for his answer, hoping to get a solution to the current crisis from him.

The think tank watched as the mediator stepped back, then turned its gaze to Deka.

Aside from the father of genetics and the curator of the think tank, he had never encountered such a powerful psychic.

As a star communicator, he was defeated by his opponent after a series of mental battles.

"I won't tell you anything."

His voice was deep, with a faint echo.

Deka walked down the stripped metal from the railing, bending over as if the weight of his thoughts were pulling him toward his goal.

His thoughts flashed, and with his permission, the key to his subconscious opened his consciousness.

Deka's thoughts expanded and spread, and he then sensed a bright consciousness, radiating a dazzling light.

The think tank member frowned slightly, feeling something touching him.

The think tank immediately ascended to the third level of Thelma's mental state, constructing a psychological defense.

Dika focused his thoughts and concentrated intently.

When the full weight of Deka's consciousness fell on the mind of the Shadow of Order, he immediately felt as if he had hit an iron wall.

Following the ribbon of trembling, pure thoughts, he concluded that the warrior had undergone special training, enough to withstand his attack.

Deka focused intently, pursing her lips and trying to put mental pressure on him, her voice soothing like a hypnotic soothing whisper.

"Let's start here. What are you?"

Dirac increased the pressure on the corresponding area in the mindset of the shadow of order and repeated the question.

A tiny aneurysm ruptured in the think tank's left eye, splattering red blood, but he still did not answer.

"what!"

Deka was slightly hoarse. As the strongest member of the psionic caste, he hadn't expected that the Shadow of Order could resist his mental lashes.

His brain was designed to be more rigorous and resilient than the senior consul in Gardiner could comprehend.

Deka's green eyes grew increasingly cloudy as he walked step by step up the stairs.

His spine was twisted, and his skin was covered with age spots and wrinkles.

“My name is Sylvin Dekah.”

As the old man stepped onto the ground, he placed his hand on his chest and bowed gracefully.

“I am the High Consul of Gadinar, representing the High Lords and the Eleventh World.”

He straightened up, his long gray hair tangled with his beard and the silver hair around his ears and nose.

Deka's beard had been cut into a square, and in its place was a small black "X" mark with a flashing red diode in the middle.

He paused, then asked for the third time:
"what do you?"

As the old man approached the surgical trolley, the Shadow of Order felt more strongly than ever before. Every word the old man spoke carried immense weight, even more oppressive than his lord, though not as much as his genetic father.

The think tank felt an itch in his temples. Just as his lips were about to move, an image flashed through his mind: the Father of Genetics opening his palm and picking up the medicine.

The scene shifts, and he sees his father standing on the deck, pinning a medal on him and gently patting him on the shoulder in encouragement.

His mind, which was about to be overwhelmed, suddenly cleared up. He clenched his teeth, and the blood vessel in his right eye burst under the pressure, and blood stained his eye socket.

Deka's eyes were filled with shock, flashing with electricity, and his temples throbbed. He struggled to stay awake, feeling as if his brain was on fire, and even his consciousness was becoming hazy.

At that moment, a buzzing sound came from the mediator's earpiece. He answered it, his expression changed, and he quickly walked over to Deka.

"My lord, we have been ambushed and the guards have been overwhelmed."

The lightning in Deka's green eyes subsided. He took a deep breath; compared to intelligence, the High Lord's safety was more important.

He strode out, no longer caring about the prisoners behind him. His pace quickened, and he sensed a change in his surroundings.

As Deka pushed open the door, his green pupils widened suddenly. He was astonished to see countless vines spreading into the room like giant pythons.

The entire gray building has been transformed into a green space.

Deka saw several vines shoot up from above, wrapping around the guards and binding them tightly.

Deka heard the sound of their bones breaking, but he didn't have time to think about the reason. He found the High Lord among the survivors.

Deka breathed a sigh of relief. He quickly untied the staff hanging at his waist and gripped the staff head tightly, the runes shining brightly.

Deka pointed his staff at a figure dressed in black armor, branded with green patterns, with plants swaying beside him.

Malena Scarla's brown eyes flashed; she felt a heavy pressure emanating from the gray-haired old man.

She immediately ascended to the third level of the Thelma state of mind to resist the mental attack.

Deka felt his consciousness crash into a flesh-and-blood door.

During the continuous collisions, lightning crackled in his green pupils.

Deka's consciousness materialized into a giant hand, slamming it heavily against the door, again and again.

Bang bang bang!
The gate shook violently, and chunks of flesh and blood fell to the ground.

Deka saw the open mind and thought to himself.

[Breaked through their mental defenses!]
Just as a feeling of joy flashed through Deka's mind, suddenly, tendrils of vines spread out from the crack in the door and wrapped around his consciousness.

When Malena relied on the multi-layered mental state constructed by Thelma to resist the attack, she recalled that the gray-haired, green-eyed old man in front of her was Sylvin Deka, whom the Black Emperor had mentioned, and knew that he was a powerful psychic.

His powerful psionic energy can even briefly affect the Primarch.

Malena knew that her mental defenses wouldn't hold for long.

Although her current psychic powers are focused on building mental defenses, she is still a "biologist".

With a thought from the "biologist," the plant filling the gap she had left on her side grew wildly under the nourishment of spiritual energy.

At the same time, driven by her hybrid creatures, they pounced on the gray-haired old man.

The snake slithered and writhed, opening its foul-smelling mouth to bite Deka.

Deka immediately felt a tearing sensation in his thigh, followed by numbness in his body.

[poisonous!]
Deka pulled a potion from his side with his left hand and plunged it into his neck, while simultaneously lowering his staff to aim at the swarming snakes.

As soon as the psionic shockwave struck the snakes, their bellies swelled up.

Deka suddenly stopped, feeling something wriggling rapidly inside his body.

The "biologist" felt the psychological shock lessen and realized that she had successfully injected the larvae into the other party's body after creating the mutated creature.

The "biologists" created a hybrid creature by crossing the venomous snakes of Katachon with vein worms. It only has the appearance of a venomous snake, but when it bites an enemy, it injects secreted mucus into the enemy's body.

The enemy will first feel numb and think it's just poisoning, then they will not feel anything at all.

The worms burrow into the enemy's skin and enter the bloodstream to lay their eggs.

At this point, the enemy is doomed, because once the venous worms enter the bloodstream, there is no known treatment.

As a bio-psychic, Malena had already sensed that the eggs had begun to spread throughout Deka's entire body.

"what!"

Accompanied by screams, the larvae hatch.

Deka felt excruciating pain in his brain, heart, and bones throughout his body, while his neck was tightly wrapped around his neck, and he immediately lost consciousness.

Marlena saw Deka's body crash heavily to the ground, breathed a sigh of relief, and raised her hand to release a bolt of lightning that struck Uria.

As Malena retreated with the captured Highlords and the rescued, heavily wounded strategists, Arsena Dunn launched an attack on Beriso, the Highlord who controlled the psionic caste.
