Chapter 470 Volian Sandstorm Vortex

Chapter 470 Volian Sandstorm Vortex

The black Skyhawk shuttle took off from the Nest City Spire and flew toward its target.

Nelson tapped his hands rapidly, locking onto his target.

Based on his outstanding performance in the air battles of the Gardinar, he joined the Honor Guard and recently became the Primarch's private pilot.

Nelson quickly locked onto the Volian Sandstorm Vortex, gripping the control stick tightly with both hands.

Even without location coordinates, no pilot would ignore this meteorological spectacle.

It's not just because of its size, which rivals any other city.

It is also because it is constantly rising, covering an increasingly larger area, and there is no limit to its growth.

The sandstorm vortex was even taller than the spire of the main hive, piercing through the clouds and clearly visible in the void.

Nelson opened the throttle, pushed the control lever, and the Skyhawk shuttle, like a large black bird, flew towards the soaring vortex.

The distance between the dials decreased rapidly.

100 kilometers, 95 kilometers...

When the numbers on the dial jumped to 49 kilometers, Nelson, who had recently become a "monster," suddenly had a picture flash through his mind.

A colorful vortex swept in, causing the shuttle to tremble violently as it was drawn into it.

A look of surprise flashed in the "monster's" eyes. He glanced at the video screen, which still showed the yellowish-brown of a dust storm, without any sign of the colorful vortex.

Nelson took a deep breath and finally decided to report to his father.

His father was on his aircraft, and he had to take responsibility for his father's life, even if it required investigation afterward.

Since the establishment of the priesthood, the shadow of the order that sees illusions has become a key focus.

Nelson also trusted his father. Through their time together, he believed that even though the reasons sounded unbelievable, his father could understand.

He immediately turned on his communicator, switched to a private channel, and began to report.

"Father, something just flashed through my mind..."

Inside the cabin, Black Wolf and Strongbrain Cat lay at Ninglu's feet. After listening to Nelson's report, he knew that the "monster" had sensed the danger of the Volian Sandstorm.

He knew that the Void Claw contained enormous energy, and even though it was currently powered off, it would still create massive sandstorms around it that never stopped, which was the reason for the formation of the Volian Sandstorm Vortex.

Coincidentally, a large area beneath the Vigilant Star is rich in black stone deposits, which, due to energy influences, form subspace storms.

The Blackrock can actually be used in two ways: the array of space necromancy can suppress psionic energy, but it can also be used to enhance warp energy. Abaddon discovered this secret during the Black Crusade.

"You have discovered the hidden danger by relying on the strength I have given you; trust in your inspiration."

"Reduce flight speed and locate the camp."

Hearing his father's approval, Nelson's worries dissipated. He obeyed orders, reduced his speed, and flew towards the base on the ground.

As the numbers on the dial jumped to 24 kilometers, a picture suddenly flashed through Nelson's mind: colorful lightning striking straight down.

The Skyhawk shuttle was pierced by lightning, and its burning, fragmented wreckage fell like a meteor.

Nelson recalled his father's words, "Trust your inspiration."

Nelson immediately pulled the control stick, sending the plane flying to the lower right.

The Skyhawk shuttle jolted violently, and Nelson saw red runes on the video screen.

The etheric shockwave grazed the left side of the fuselage.

The "monster" gained confidence and kept pushing and pulling the levers with both hands, letting inspiration guide him.

The shadowy shuttle darted left and right in the air, dodging blue lightning and red flames as it continued to fall.

At an altitude of 517 kilometers above the ground, the "monster" sensed the danger receding and smoothly piloted the Skyhawk shuttle to land at the base.

Nimrod walked toward the deck, not immediately approaching the waiting Primarch attendant, but instead went to Nelson, who had emerged from the cockpit and calmed himself down.

"Well done, your inspiration guided you through this dangerous flight."

Nelson immediately felt something melting inside him, just like when he added sugar cubes to his cup at the Reca coffee machine before a flight mission and they dissolved quickly.

I became a real "monster".
Nelson paused for a moment, then quickly came to his senses.

"Father, it is my honor."

"Go and rest," Ninglu said, then walked toward the silver-haired Arsena.

The hydraulic airlock opened with a pneumatic sound, and Ning Lu walked into the command base.

Arriving at the holographic table, his gaze swept over Malena Scala and Thomas, finally settling on Arkhan, and he asked, "How's it going?"

Akahan's expression was grim. "My probe servants are circling around the Volian sandstorm vortex in different directions."

"The total detection range is 112 kilometers, and energy readings are collected."

As he spoke, he raised his cane and pointed it at the servants standing behind him.

"Authorization to transfer data file, No. 1295."

The servant's eyes flashed with blue-green light, and it spoke, emitting a synthesized sound.

"Initiate the transfer protocol and transfer data file location 1295."

His chest opened, revealing the data storage device, and the servant raised his right hand to take out the data disc.

The Primarch's servant had already activated the Thinker with his staff, and the servant stepped forward and inserted the disc.

The video screen hanging overhead immediately lit up, and Akahan continued.

"The energy readings of the sandstorm vortex are extremely high; an ordinary person who enters it will be torn to pieces immediately."

"Even Titans or Astartes would suffer damage if they were in the vortex for a long time because the magnetic field is disordered and it is difficult to distinguish directions, which is quite dangerous."

"What's even more dangerous is the astrological reading anomaly, which could lead to a variety of unexpected dangers, including lightning strikes from the sky, fireworks that appear out of nowhere, or even bizarre mazes."

Ninglu nodded. "Do you have anything to add?"

"The Guardian of Knowledge" exchanged a glance with the think tank director, and then spoke.

“My lord, I believe the aether anomaly is related to the Blackrock. If we can excavate around it, we should be able to weaken its influence.”

“It will take too long.” Ninglu rejected the “Guardian of Knowledge”’s suggestion, even though it coincided with his own guess.

[When the Fallen Angels and Abaddon seized the Void Claws, they appeared unaffected by warp energy, likely a result of the long-term excavation at the Underworld VIII.]
He looked at the four people in front of him, each possessing different abilities, and began to speak.

"You guys first try to find a way to get to the central research station and the guard fortress."

The prophecy dice will need another five months to fully charge, so Ninglu decided to let them try it out first.

If they can find the way, Nimrod can save himself from this prophetic dice divination and use it for other purposes.

If that fails, he can resolve the issue further, which will only further impress Aqqan.

“As you wish,” Akahan said, hoping to retrieve the Doomsday Weapon, which was his sacred duty as a servant of Om Messiah.

As the four left the command base and began their reconnaissance, Ning Lu heard a murmur in his ear.

After leaving Dionysus Spear on the ground, Nimrod went to the rest room he had prepared for himself.

On a whim, he arrived in the "Land of Chaos".

After the spirituality spread to the sphere of light, Nimrod saw Howard Find kneeling before the altar in prayer.

Instead of immediately taking Howard into the "Land of Chaos," he moved to the first level of space and had the space ape use imprisoned amber and other potion-making materials to concoct the Sequence 6 "Judge" potion.

After obtaining the potion, the "Corrupted Baron" returned to the fourth level, where his spirituality spread, dragging Howard into the "Land of Chaos".

The Primarch's eyes flashed, and with telekinesis, it delivered a golden potion to Howard.

"Drink it!"

Howard's eyes lit up; he knew he had once again received the Black Emperor's gift.

He took the amber-like potion and poured it into his mouth.

Howard's eyes turned gold, and the scattered light shimmered in the black mist.

A moment later, the newly appointed "judge" withdrew his power.

"Thanks be to my Lord."

Ning Lu nodded slightly, recalling Howard's previous battle with the Eldar.

"You cleared out the Eldar pirates?"

“I have wiped out all the pirates in the Alicia system, whether Eldar or humans,” the Arbitrator Lord replied.

“But Alicia is located at the intersection of subspace routes and is also a trade center in the surrounding area. I believe that it will not be long before it is attacked by pirates again.”

“This is the foreseeable future,” Nimrod agreed, “to train them as new recruits and auxiliary troops.”

"As you wish." Howard accepted the order and was then sent back to the Arbitration.
