Chapter 474 Brain-Boosting Cat: Today is My Lucky Day

Chapter 474 Brain-Boosting Cat: Today is My Lucky Day
Through the telepathic connection with John, Nimrod instantly understood his thoughts.

"Today is his lucky day."

The genomicon's brain spins rapidly, assessing the feasibility of the approach.

[Brain Cat is naturally quite perceptive; the "Monster" attribute grants him exceptional inspiration, while the "Machine" and "Lucky One" attributes further enhance his abilities.]

The "lucky ones" have begun to exhibit characteristics of the "Wheel of Fortune" pathway; although they cannot control their own luck, they can discern when their fortunes will rise and fall.
Thinking about this, Ninglu believed that the "lucky ones" were indeed very likely to find the way.

[Give it a try.]

The prophecy dice need another day to fully charge, and no action can be taken during that day.
Upon realizing this, Ning Lu initiated a thought impulse in his mind.

“John, then you lead the way.”

He then said to the crowd, "John told me that he could find the watchtower."

The group exchanged glances and then turned their attention to the ginger-yellow-bodied Brain Cat.

The powerful cats of Alsena Dunn, Thomas, and Malena Scala also looked at their own kind.

Black Wolf turned his head to look at John on the other side of his master, his eyes full of suspicion.

As a being of a higher level of existence, even his intuition couldn't distinguish the sandstorm vortex; how could John, of a lower level, possibly discover it?

“Lord Ninglu,” Akahan’s face turned ashen, a flash of anger crossing his eyes, “the search for the doomsday weapon is a sacred journey, how can we place our hopes on…”

He struggled to suppress his anger, saying, "I'm taking it out on your pet."

Arkham knew that the cat-like creature before him was no ordinary cat.

Many nobles in Terra keep Brainy Cats as pets. Although they have unique abilities, they are not intelligent and cannot solve problems that even he finds difficult.

Ning Lu remained calm; he was still patient with the talent he wanted to recruit.

"Akahan, do you have any other ideas?"

“I need time to conduct experiments and correct errors,” Akahan said confidently.

"I am confident that we can break through the sandstorm vortex within ten years."

“It’s been too long.” Ning Lu shook his head. Ten years to find the doomsday weapon is not a long time for any member of the Mechanicus.

But it took him too long, not even as long as he searched for it himself. The flying sand and stones that could easily tear ordinary people's flesh and blood apart could not cause him any harm.

"I believe in him, he will definitely find it."

Ninglu's eyes flickered. If his pet could find the doomsday weapon, it would surely shock Akahan's soul.

As for not being able to find it, that's absolutely impossible.

He didn't limit it to the lucky day of the "lucky one." Even if John couldn't find it, he could use the prophecy dice to divine the next day and then tell John through the telepathic link.

Nimrod didn't think this would happen, after all, today was John's lucky day.

“As you command,” Akahan said curtly, taking the data tablet from the monkey on his shoulder and bringing up the command interface.

Akahan thought the ginger-colored, brain-powered cat would carefully observe and look around, but to his surprise, it immediately took a step and walked to the right rear, where it had originally been moving forward.

Akahan looked at them as if they were pets of Terran nobles taking a stroll, his face as cold as frost.

He slammed his fist on the data panel, adjusting the direction of the five energy interference devices.

Akahan watched the data fluctuate in the upper right corner. Along the new route, they had traveled 1.9 kilometers, but the surrounding data remained unchanged.

If the route is correct, then the jammer's range should be smaller.

As expected, you can't rely on pets; Lord Ninglu's super-brained cat is just a super-brained cat.

It's just a waste of time.
Arkham remained silent, not entirely out of concern for the Primarch.

Despite meeting Lord Ninglu every day for the past year, and having come to believe that Lord Ninglu is the greatest among all Primarchs, he never hesitates because of who the other party is.

Even when facing Om Messiah himself, the Emperor was the same.

He didn't speak up only because the outcome was still uncertain.

In Arkham's view, the inevitable outcome was that the cat with the powerful brain was not found.

As Akhahan pondered, the number jumped to 5.2 kilometers. Akhahan's eyes widened as he stared intently at the data panel.

He murmured, "How is this possible?"

Alsena and Malena immediately came over. They had expected this; they had already guessed that the Brain Cat, having been granted power by the Black Emperor, could find the way to the Watchtower.

"The energy jammer's... range of influence... has shrunk..." Akahan said in shock.

“Only ninety-five meters left.” Akahan looked at the ginger-fured Strongbrain Cat in surprise.

John felt the gazes of the people behind him. He could sense the astonishment in the eyes of Arkhan, the technical priest, several Shadow Order members, and his followers.

He calmly lifted his leg and landed, maintaining the same stride.

[Today is my lucky day, of course I won't go to the wrong place.]
Arkham's gaze shifted between Brainy Cat and Lord Nimrod.

Is it a coincidence?

It's possible that the cat with the strong brain randomly chose a direction and luckily got it right.

He couldn't be so lucky forever. The closer he got to the doomsday weapon, the more the space was affected; going straight would cause him to veer off course.
As Arkham pondered this, he suddenly saw Brainy Cat turn around and walk towards the eleven o'clock direction.

Akahan quickly steered the energy jammer around, then kept a close eye on the data panel.

After 660 meters, the numbers on the data panel changed again, and the influence range of the energy jammer was only 85 meters.

At the same time, a technical priest standing at the edge of the vines suddenly felt his body sway, and then felt an invisible force hit him.

Just as the Tech Priest was about to be thrown into the air, Thomas appeared beside him in a flash.

The "wizard" raised his hand and flicked out a bottle of bright yellow powder, which enveloped his body and that of the technical priest.

The Tech Priest immediately felt the invisible force applied to him disappear.

He said gratefully, having survived the ordeal.

"Thank you for your help, Director of the Think Tank."

Arkham's pupils dilated as he watched the powerful cat with its brain moving gracefully forward.

[It wasn't a coincidence after all.]
As the team moved forward, the other four devices continued to move closer to the center.

Soon, they were only twenty meters away from the central device.

The vines also shrank, blocking the falling dust and sand.

Ninglu has stepped out of the protected area to make room for those who need it.

Dust roared in and then slid to the ground.

John slowed his pace. The "Lucky One" did not further enhance his physical abilities; he only received a noticeable physical boost when he was in the "Machine."

Without the ability to use psychic powers, the final journey will be a test.

Fortunately, ever since he started leading the way, he had felt something melting inside him. Having had a similar experience before, he knew that he was about to fully master the power bestowed upon him by his master.

The "lucky ones" would turn their bodies and change direction every two or three steps.

The Primarch, who maintained a mental link with the Superbrain Cat, knew that he was not thinking at all, and that every step he took was impulsive.

Ninglu's eyes suddenly lit up. His gaze pierced through the storm and fell upon a magnificent building that rose from the ground.

The magnificent building, as large as a dome, is an incredibly massive cylindrical structure, inside which is mounted a dangerous weapon even larger than the Hongpao.

The others only saw the magnificent building a few dozen meters away after walking another kilometer.

Akahan looked in surprise at the gates of the fortress. He saw the Brain Cat casually tapping on the touchscreen, which unlocked the ancient fortress's defenses, and the gates slowly opened with the sound of hydraulic transmission.

He stared in astonishment at the ginger-yellow figure and Lord Ninglu beside him.

[The Lord is truly blessed by Om Messiah; even his pet is!]
Brainy Cat was the first to step into the guard fortress, and he suddenly felt as if something inside his body was shattering.

Having experienced this twice before, he thought to himself.

I became a true "lucky one".
