Chapter 488 Neratkirin: There's 1 more.

Chapter 488 Nerat Killing: There's another one

Nerat Killing activated the Lightning Claw on his other arm. He disliked wearing the Ironclad Terminator armor that hindered his movement, but preferred this common weapon used by Terminators.

He fired a series of explosive grenades at the alien, and amidst the explosions, he saw something flash.

Nerat immediately recognized that it was an elite Xenomorph warrior known as the Overlords.

They may take any form, but their only common characteristic is that they have a powerful personal energy shield. To break through their defense, a bomb gun needs a large amount of ammunition for continuous attacks.

Powered weapons are a wiser choice at this time, as they can tear through the enemy's defenses more quickly through the collision of two energies.

This is especially true for Nerat.

He arrived before the overlord with speed far exceeding that of the guards.

Lightning Claw is a special powered weapon, a variant of the Power Fist technique.

It pursues pure crushing power; the sharp blades extending from the armor itself are deadly even without an energy field.

When the force field is activated, the claw blades can penetrate almost any material with ease.

As a blue light flashed, Nerat swung his claw blade in an instant.

With swift thrusts and powerful slashes, he remained constantly on the move, unleashing a barrage of attacks that left the overlord struggling to keep up.

The alien's double pincers clumsily scraped against his body, then slammed against the machine with a loud clanging sound.

With a piercing screech, Nerat felt a numbness in his arm.

He knew he had successfully broken the Overlord's personal energy shield, and just as he was about to swing his claws to end the alien life, he suddenly felt his mind freeze.

Nerat felt as if his nerves had gone numb.

He mobilized the higher consciousness functions possessed by his superhuman body and used his own will to expel the nerve paralysis.

Nerat roared, completely dispelling the sense of repulsion. He swung his claw blades to block the alien's opportunistic attack.

He shifted his body to the side, causing the alien to lose its balance, and his lightning-sparkling claws slashed deep into the alien's abdomen.

Nerat abandoned the body, which was oozing bodily fluids, on the ground and looked around warily.

He was certain that what he had just witnessed was not a hallucination.

There must be something around me attacking my nerves.

Nerat looked around warily, but the surging aliens quickly forced him to focus his attention on the immediate threat.

He strode quickly through the corridor, his claws hissing as he tore apart the alien's foul-smelling body.

Nerat leaped onto a machine. He looked back and saw three adjutants. The breakout was not going smoothly.

The aliens drove their army of slaves, halting their advance.

Nerat looked around and then saw a strange creature about a kilometer ahead.

He was at least half a meter taller than any of the aliens around him, and he was entirely white.

Its head is unusually large, about a third the size of its body.

His arms were also strange; his left arm was long and thin, like a python, hanging down to the ground.

He held a crystal longsword in his right hand, which shone with a dazzling light.

Unlike any other alien around him, he pointed his arm at a human, protected by a group of guards.

With a scream, the person kneeling on the ground fell to the ground like rotten fruit.

When Nerat saw him raise his left arm and point at him, he suddenly swayed as if struck by a heavy hammer and fell off the machine.

[We've found our target; he must be the leader of the aliens.]

It's very likely that he... just used... some means... to influence me.
Nerat's expression suddenly changed; he felt his brain slow down uncontrollably.

At the same time, his attempts to control his body and land on the ground in a fighting stance to deal with the upcoming attack were also affected.

It was as if something had invaded his brain, influencing his will to be transmitted to his body.

Nerat's body fell limply, and he stiffly watched as two guards ran toward him.

They suddenly stopped and knelt on the ground.

[here we go again!
He can influence not only me, but also my other comrades-in-arms...
Nerat saw an alien grotesquely tear two guards apart with its claws.

His eyes were stained red with blood, and his heart was filled with sorrow.

A raging fire ignited in Nerat's eyes, and he roared inwardly.

I must...kill him...my company...in order to break through...

Alien... I will not yield...
Nerat suddenly felt himself regain control of his body. He plunged his lightning claws into the alien's head, avenging his guards. Upon landing, he immediately charged towards the alien.

Thousands of sharp spikes flashed through his mind, making Nerat's head buzz.

Nerat didn't stop; nothing could stop him.

The red line running through the brain-eater's head flashed with a dangerous light, and at its intersection with the indentation, it locked onto the figure rushing towards him.

He was astonished by how fast the other party was moving; he had been at the center of the attack and was most deeply and severely affected by the neurotoxin.

He should have suffered hundreds of thousands of nerve torments, but he did not fall like the other enemies who followed him.

When the target indicated that there were only 100 meters left on Nerat's divination box, he suddenly felt as if his skin was being bitten by countless insects.

The effects of the neurotoxin spread from his brain to his body.

Nerat's body swayed slightly as the alien lunged forward menacingly, tearing through the Mark II Expeditionary Power Armor with its claws.

Nerat's eyes were cold. He cast aside the dual torment of mind and body, letting his will and adrenaline drive his body to swing his claw blades.

Nerat discovered that he could swing his lightning claws faster than ever before.

In the blink of an eye, before the other women could gather around, he had already torn apart his personal energy shield.

Nerat swung his fist and smashed another alien skull.

Their fists and claws complemented each other, continuously killing the aliens that came to their deaths.

When they were only ten meters apart, Nerat charged forward, swinging his claws at the white alien.

Spit sizzle sizzle...

The lightning claw clashed with the crystal sword, producing a series of ear-piercing sounds.

The brain-eater raised its other arm, but Nerat had anticipated this.

After enduring endless pain, his movements became even faster, and he slammed forward.

The brain-eater was knocked off balance and fell to the ground.

The energy surged and crashed into Nerat's armor, electrifying his hair so that it stood on end and pressed against his helmet.

Blood gushed from Nerat's mouth, soaking his breathing grille.

Nerat seemed oblivious, carrying the alien's body as he rolled on the ground, swinging his arms like a wild beast.

The brain-eater's bent arm slammed down.

The psionic field tore the power armor apart with a dull thud.

Nerat's broad back visibly sagged inwards.

The Laraman organ is activated, and the generated cells are released into the bloodstream, then attach to white blood cells in the blood, and are finally transported to the wound site.

Nerat's body continued to move according to his will; he swung his right arm, and his claws pierced into the alien's body.

The brain-eater stopped moving, and foul-smelling pus splattered all over Nerat's body.

Nerat took a deep breath, his body wearily supporting himself on his left arm as he shakily stood up.

He sensed his condition: his armor was shattered, the wounds on his back had scabbed over, but his internal organs were damaged by the heavy blows.

Nerat knew that the Lariman organ could only help him so much; he no longer had his usual fighting strength.

Fortunately, the imperceptible attack has stopped, and neither the body nor the brain feels it anymore.

After being stunned, the surrounding aliens scattered and fled. He had clearly killed the alien leader.

Nerat strode toward the guards, chasing after an alien in the process.

He swung his arm and tore its body apart with his lightning claws.

Just as Nerat was about to take another step forward, he suddenly felt a buzzing sound in his brain, as if thousands of bees were swarming in.

[Is there one more?]
Nerat quickly turned around and saw a white figure, just like the one he had just killed.

Nerat's expression changed; in his current state, he was no longer able to deal with such a powerful enemy.

"retreat!"

He shouted to the guards, and Nerat drew his explosive pistol and fired at the alien as he retreated.

Just as he was fleeing in a sorry state, he suddenly heard a loud bang.

Nerat looked in the direction of the sound and saw only a dazzling golden light.
