Chapter 698 Ninglu's Instructions to Present the Water Monster to the Emperor
Nimrod's psionic projection crossed the void and descended upon Terra's golden palace, taking its seat in silence.

Riemann Russ, who usually targets Magnus, crossed his arms and leaned back in his imposing chair.

The chilling aura surrounding him emanated through the psionic projection, radiating waves of cold light.

Nimrod surveyed his surroundings, discerning the Primarchs' line of sight through the misty projections; they deliberately avoided the direction where Ruth was.

Apart from Robert Guilliman.

As expected, most Primarchs regarded Ruth as an executioner.

It was wise of me not to accept the task assigned by Old Man Huang.
Saint Gilles' gaze wandered as he pondered something, until Nimrod's projection appeared, finally bringing his focus back to the present.

He smiled broadly and, along with Horus Lupecal, Guilliman, Peturabo, Vograim, and Magnus, greeted Nimrod.

They all knew that Nimrod had collected Hannibal's body and buried it in a crystal coffin.

This comforted them.

The same thought flashed through their minds as they thought about how the statues in the Heroes' Square had been destroyed and removed, leaving only the empty base of the Tower of Hegemony.

In the silence, the door slammed open with an unusually loud bang.

The Emperor, along with the Mars Casting Director, Macardo, and Constantine Waldo, entered the hall.

After everyone bowed and took their seats, the Emperor spoke in a deep voice.

"Hannibal and his army were punished for their evil deeds."

"From this day forward, all Imperial departments shall delete all data related to the Second Legion."

As Nimrod pondered, the Primarchs, at the Emperor's request, swore an oath promising never to mention Hannibal and his legions again.

The moment he sat down, the only Primarch who had not yet returned to his body came to mind: Kovacs Corax.

Ninglu had no doubt that Old Man Huang would erase all traces of Hannibal's existence.

Corax, who despises the Terrans, will not ask his offspring.

The Terran descendants of the 19th Legion will also obey Old Man Huang's orders and will not reveal this to Corax.

"Its void shield is exceptionally thick and sturdy, even comparable to that of the Glory Queen-class battleships, and its bow plasma annihilation cannon is an ancient relic that is difficult to replicate..."

Horus went on and on about Arkahas's major discovery, naming it the Monster.

Nimrod nodded. The Great Forgotten One had found the future flagship of the "Space Shark".

Although the Water Monster was a large cruiser-class battleship, it was even more valuable than the relic-class warship that Old Huang had gifted him.

During the Great Expedition, the Empire recovered countless technological marvels lost in the past.

Ning Lu glanced almost imperceptibly at Ryan El-Jonson, a scene flashing through his mind of the Dark Angel's Dark Monarch plunging into the Shana Orbital rebel fleet during the grand birthday celebration and wreaking havoc.

[The engine oil guy is separating and will soon belong to me, along with the Abomination Exemplar, the Dark Monarch, and many Relic-class warships. I've really outmaneuvered quite a few ships in Ryan!]
Without the Relic-class warships, I wonder how he would have turned the tide against the "Midnight Lord" fleet if Horus had ambushed Ryan as I remembered during the Grand Birthday Celebration.
While Ning Lu was pondering, Old Man Huang spoke up with satisfaction.

“This is a memorable discovery. Tell Fal that I am very pleased with his discovery and I accept his gift.”

"I gifted him the Water Monster as his flagship."

"I hope he can lead the Nineteenth Legion to bring more worlds under the Empire's control and uncover more precious ancient technological relics."

The War Council meeting concluded, and Ruth's icy blue eyes swept over the crowd before she left first.

After Nimrod's consciousness returned to the Shadow of the Throne, he immediately went to the "Land of Chaos," spreading his spirituality and touching the blue orb.

After confirming that Alkahas was alone, he pulled him into the "Land of Chaos".

After kneeling on one knee in greeting, Alkahas said respectfully.

“My Lord, in accordance with Your command, I will present the Monster of the Sea, which I have discovered in the ocean world, to the Emperor as a gift.”

Ninglu nodded slightly. "Like Dorn, he gifted the Water Monster to you."

He ordered Alcahas to present the Monster, not only to emulate Dorne's loyalty in presenting the Mountain Array, but also to demonstrate his loyalty to Old Man Huang through concrete actions.
