Chapter 808 Mark IV's First Combat Experience

Chapter 808 Mark IV's First Combat Experience
On the second continent of Heliossa, the Eighth Battle Group launched an attack on the fourth Raven's Nest.

The slender and tall Evan warrior was slightly taller than the ordinary Order Shadow.

They are elegant in stature, with delicate bone structure, but their facial features are sharp and angular, like the rugged mountains they inhabit.

A "warrior" wielded a longsword forged by the swordsmith Kasser, slashing at the warrior Evan, who was as tall as him.

Amidst the clang, the "warrior's" gleaming blade deflected the elegant longsword.

The "warrior" swiftly thrust out a second sword, striking the light black armor.

The psionic blade tore open a crack, and the "warrior" glanced at it, recognizing that the reinforced fibers were similar to the mechanism of the Astartes power armor.

The "warrior" took a step forward with his right foot, pressing his entire body weight onto the blade.

boom!
The "warrior" bent the long, sharp blade of the warrior Aiven, stepped out with his left foot, and slashed horizontally with the blade.

The gleaming sword blade tore through the black armor clinging to the body, slashing into the seemingly frail physique.

The "warrior" felt the blade slightly obstructed, so he bent over and exerted force, finally tearing apart the tough bones of the Aiven man.

In the midst of the tense moment, Company Commander Buuka leaped forward.

Wearing the prototype of the Saturn-shaped Terminator, the "Guardian" is as swift as the wind, even faster than the "Warrior" wearing the Mark II Expeditionary.

The shimmering psionic sword in his right hand spun rapidly, exploding and shattering the light black armor and flesh of his body.

He easily raised his left arm, and the plasma cannon sprayed out streams of molten liquid as it rotated.

bang bang bang...

A shimmering stream of green plasma engulfed each and every Evan warrior.

Buuka took the lead, fought his way through the enemy lines, and was the first to reach the gleaming bridge spanning the mountains.

Countless Aiven warriors attacked from all directions, surrounding the black-armored warrior.

Whoosh!Whoosh!Whoosh!
Three pure white figures swept in with a whoosh, their sharp beaks aimed at Buuka's head and arms.

boom!
The Guardian slammed his right knee into the ground, and his longsword, bathed in the light of dawn, rapidly grew into a "Dawn Sword".

Rays of morning light shone down, covering the gleaming bridge.

bang bang bang...

A dozen or so long blades pierced through the shrike's beak in the power armor without any hindrance, and kept slashing at the transparent wall, but not a single blade touched the "Guardian's" massive body.

Buuka suddenly stood up, and the giant sword he had plunged into the ground emitted rays of light like the morning sun.

They converged, enveloping the body of the "Guardian" Buuka, and then transformed into a "storm of light" that swept outwards.

Boom boom boom...

Amidst a series of explosions, the lightweight black armor shattered, and fragments of the armor, along with pieces of corpses, scattered in the air.

The shrike exploded in two, its body crashing to the ground.

Buuka was suddenly surrounded by empty space. He looked around and saw hundreds of silver towers on the side of the mountain, from which countless Aiven warriors poured out and charged toward the bridge connecting the mountains.

The interior of Heliosa is a mountainous world, and transportation between the mountains relies more on interconnected bridges, especially for large-scale transport of goods, in addition to various birds.

"defense!"

As the soldiers set up a defensive line on the bridge, using it as an anvil to draw the attention of all the Elven warriors in the hive, two Shadow Stormbirds silently landed.

Lord San Diego Bergkamp of the Fifth Army led a hundred honor guards down the deck.

After inspecting the legion's tactical network and confirming the situation of the 1st Company of the 8th Regiment, San Diego looked towards a mountain peak, where shouts of battle could be faintly heard from the other side.

Saint Diego, the first psionic artisan of the "Shadow of Order," took the crystal ball he had personally crafted from his waist and held it in his right palm.

The experienced astrologer's gaze simultaneously encompassed the mountain peaks and the crystal ball in front of him within the obsidian eye, causing the crystal ball to emit a ray of light.

The light rippled like water, presenting a profound and mysterious scene:
Five passageways connect the broad mountainside.

The tall Aiven people bustled about.

Some held weapons aloft, while others dragged supplies.

[Just as I suspected.] San Diego hung the crystal ball back on his waist.

He deduced from the documents issued by the Black Emperor that the Aiven people would open passages within each mountain peak to facilitate travel between the towers.

Others cannot exploit it, but he can.

The demon-type psionicist removed the force field staff, and the psionic crystal emitted a blinding light.

The Hunter's Set psionic circuits on the demonic psionicist shone simultaneously with the runes on the five mind servants surrounding him.

The warp surged in, covering the armor of the Honor Guard with a thin layer of ice.

call!
A beam of light shot into the sky, and the demon-type psionicist and a hundred members of the Honor Guard vanished into thin air.

Within the mountain's interior, the shadow of order, "teleported" in, launched a surprise attack.

The five "magic masters" shook their bodies and swung their arms in unison, sending thin ice flying from their bodies and transforming into arrows that covered a distance of fifteen meters. A dozen or so Aiven people swiftly dodged, skillfully avoiding most of the incoming ice arrows.

Whoosh...

Mixed within the ice arrows, deadly "freezing" rays pierced through the arrows and struck the sharply defined face.

After San Diego led his team to seize the mountain's transportation hub, he glanced at the tactics interface.

The temperature dropped by 4.9 degrees.

Knowing he could no longer use psionic powers, the demon-type psychic Saint Diego changed his mind.

The other half of the runes on the five mind servants glowed.

San Diego felt the surging waves gradually recede, and the chill that had seeped into his veins disappeared.

He quickly marked five paths leading to different elevations on the mountainside. "Attack!"

Santiago, accompanied by five mind servants and ten honor guards, charged toward the horizontal passage.

The Aiven people's passageway was smooth and clean, without any damp or musty smell.

A "magic master" waved his hands, and a "black curtain" enveloped the entire passageway.

The shadow of order advances silently, and the Hunter module flashes in the vision of the mind servant.

They raised their bedrock-type bomb guns and unleashed a barrage of deadly bullets at the unsuspecting Evan warriors.

Amidst the roar of engines, the column moved forward.

As the road suddenly widened, a bright silver light caught everyone's eye.

A tall, silver tower stands in front.

bang bang bang...

The gleaming gate unleashed a barrage of bullets.

The Aivens did not know how the enemy had broken into the passage without breaching the front lines, but they were aware that they had been ambushed.

A "magic master" suddenly raised his hand, and mist filled the air.

Another "magic master" raised his hand, and a loud booming sound rang out out of thin air.

Amidst the loud noise, the team's only "apprentice" strode forward and placed his hand on the silver wall.

Suddenly, a blurry, pale blue door appeared on the wall, devoid of any tangible form.

The "magic master" who created the "loud noise" was the first to pass through the dark blue gate. He raised his left hand and conjured a level 7 gale in the air at the gate.

Amidst the rustling of the wind, Aiven staggered about.

The Shadow of Order raised its hand and fired a series of explosive shells, leaving the area in front of the door empty amidst the deafening roar.

A whistling sound rang out as the shrike hovering above the dome swooped down like lightning.

Its sharp beak, like a gleaming spear, pierced through the power armor of the Mark II Expeditionary.

The shrike flapped its wings, its sharp claws slicing across the ground, and pounced towards the doorway, directly attacking the black-armored knight who had broken in.

Whoosh!
The sharp, long beak pierced the waist of the Mark IV power armor and immediately became stuck there.

The "magic master" had blood on his waist. He raised his hand and pressed it against the wound, and a high-voltage current surged up, running along his long beak.

The electric shock caused the shrike to instinctively pull away from its body and shrink back.

Following closely behind the members of the Honor Guard into the Silver Tower, San Diego raised his archaeological pistol.

A beam of light extracted from the dim stellar radiation layer of the ancient star shot out and struck the giant white bird.

boom!
As flames erupted, a red rune flashed across the tactical interface.

The new Mark IV power armor offered significantly better protection than the Mark II, and one of my combat comrades survived.

Its overall mobility is also better, making it a perfect fit for my team.
Santiago gathered his thoughts, led his honor guard forward quickly, and pushed open the doors of the silver tower.

The Shadow of Order raised its bedrock-type bomb gun and opened fire on the Aven.

bang bang bang...

The barrage of bullets swept behind Aiven, thundering and sweeping down swathes of charging enemies.

In the eyes of "Recorder" San Diego, a phantom book slowly turning its pages appeared, and the Dunn runes that read "I came, I saw, I recorded" rose up.

Each "blazing white spear" whistled and shot forward, piercing through one Aiven person after another.

Buuka cleaved the warrior Aiven in two with a single sword strike, only to find the area in front of him suddenly empty.

He gazed into the passageway but saw no Evan warriors.

Buuka looked toward the silver tower, [which belonged to the Star Lord].

He launched a surprise attack on the mountain, routing the Aven people from the rear.
