Harry doesn't want to be a wizard, he wants to be a superhero

Chapter 278 High Priest: Mr. Potter, perhaps we can discuss ancient academic issues of reproduction

Chapter 278 High Priest: Mr. Potter, perhaps we can discuss ancient academic issues of reproduction later!

"Wait, we can talk about those things later. Shouldn't we be figuring out how to get our mission reward from the Sovereigns right now?" At this moment, Rocket Raccoon jumped onto a nearby platform and waved his arms at the group.

"We've been ambushed by the Sovereigns. They care a lot about their reputation and might not let us leave!"

Now, everyone in the Guardians of the Galaxy looked worried.

Gamora, however, thought differently. Her gaze fell on Harry, the renowned powerhouse of the multiverse. With him around, the Sovereigns wouldn't dare to act too recklessly.

So she winked at Harry and asked:
"Harry, can you help us get out of Sovereignty safely?"

"Of course I can help you leave safely, but that's all."

"I am, after all, a sorcerer of Kamar-Taj. For the sake of Kamar-Taj's reputation in the multiverse, I will not force the Sovereigns to make compensation or an apology to you. After all, this is your own business." Harry nodded.

The Guardians of the Galaxy fell silent once again.

Their silence wasn't because they were unhappy that Harry wasn't helping them gain more benefits from the Sovereigns—after all, Harry was their friend—but their relationship clearly wasn't at the point where they would risk offending a powerful civilization in the universe for their sake.

Despite Harry's immense power, he was not afraid of this civilization.

Their silence stemmed from Harry's concern about Kamar-Taj's reputation across the multiverse.

Oh, Harry Potter, you really have no idea how bad Kamar-Taj's reputation is in the multiverse these days, or how bad your reputation is in the multiverse.

Since Harry became the Sorcerer Supreme, he has consistently adopted a hardline diplomatic policy, showing no respect to Kamar-Taj, whether it be the three great empires of the universe, organizations that span the multiverse, or even multiverse deities capable of destroying the universe.

In their words, "Our Sorcerer Supreme is Harry Potter, do we need to give you face?"
If you want to harm Kamar-Taj but also want us to give you face, then defeat the Sorcerer Supreme first!

But ever since Mephisto suffered a great loss at Harry's hands, with three-tenths of the ancient Hell Dimensions being swallowed by Chaos, who would dare to lay a hand on Harry?

Even a dimensional daemons of the level of Cytorak are extremely wary of Harry, and in recent years they have long since given up on invading Earth and restored their relationship with Kamar-Taj to neutrality.

If this is the case even for Cytorak, then what about everyone else!

Therefore, Kamar-Taj became increasingly arrogant, especially Kamar-Taj, where Harry resided, which became a dominant force in the universe.

This also meant that although they did not plunder other organizations except for attacking their former enemies, they were still hated by everyone else because they were too powerful, and all sorts of unfavorable news about Kamar-Taj were spread.

For example, the Sorcerer Supreme is an uncontrollable bomb that, once detonated, could even destroy several nearby parallel universes.

Sometimes, being so powerful that it inspires fear is also a mistake.

Finally, it was Star-Lord, who had spent many years navigating the cosmos and was adept at navigating social situations, who stepped forward and broke the awkward silence:

“Of course, Harry, we just want to leave Sovereignty safely, we don’t have any other ambitions.”

Because the Sovereigns had cut off all access to the outside from Energy Plaza, Harry opened a portal and led the Guardians of the Galaxy and others directly to the highest government building on Sovereignty.

As they walked toward the upper floors of the highest government building, Star-Lord whispered a warning to his teammates:

“You have to be careful when talking to the Sovereigns. They’re very sensitive. If we offend them, we’re doomed!”

Of course, Harry is an exception; I think the Sovereigns wouldn't dare offend him.

On the way, many Sovereigns were surprised to see the Guardians of the Galaxy escaping from Energy Plaza. Some of them even opened their communications to report the matter to the High Priest of Sovereigns.

When the Guardians of the Galaxy and the others arrived at the top floor, the High Priest of Sovereignty had already learned about the situation at Energy Plaza and discovered from the footage recorded by the cameras that the Sorcerer Supreme, Harry Potter, had actually arrived on Sovereignty!
This made them very nervous, after all, they dared not be careless in the slightest when facing a powerful figure who could destroy an entire civilization by himself.

Under the watchful eyes of many Sovereigns, the group pushed open the door and entered a magnificent hall, where they met Ayesha, the High Priestess of Sovereigns.

As the group entered the hall, Ayesha's gaze quickly swept across them. Upon spotting Harry, her pupils contracted sharply. Then, to the astonishment of the Guardians of the Galaxy, she descended from her throne, approached Harry, and bowed slightly.
"Supreme Sorcerer, welcome to Sovereign. On behalf of all the people of Sovereign, I extend to you our highest respect!"

Drax, lacking the intelligence to comprehend the scene before him, asked Star-Lord:

"Why is the High Priest of Sovereign so respectful to Harry? Could it be that they're having an affair?"

Star-Lord smacked Drax on the head and whispered:

"Keep your voice down, you're too loud! It's not that there's something going on between them, it's just that Harry is too strong. The Sovereigns are no match for him, so how could they possibly be disrespectful to him?"

However, it must be said that the High Priestess of Sovereignty has a really good figure; if she were more proactive, she might actually be able to have an affair with Harry.

Star-Lord thought his voice was quiet, but he didn't know that both Harry and the genetically modified Sovereigns had powerful hearing and could clearly hear his whispers with Drax.

However, because of Harry, no one did anything too extreme, but the Sovereign official still glared at them, making them instantly obedient.

But the speaker meant no harm, while the listener took it to heart.

Ayesha's eyes lit up; perhaps she could really try to seduce Harry and have an affair with him.

If Harry Potter is the background, then what does it matter if they are Kree?
In that case, the Sovereigns would become the most powerful race in the universe, and even a top power in the multiverse, just like the next Kamar-Taj!
In response to Ayesha's respectful bow, Harry humbly returned the greeting, smiling as he said:
"Greetings, High Priestess. It is an honor to be here on Sovereign. You need not stand on ceremony."

By the way, I've now stepped down as Sorcerer Supreme. The new Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj is Sorcerer Strange. If there's any cooperation between Sovereignty and Kamar-Taj in the future, you might be able to meet him.

"You've stepped down as the Sorcerer Supreme?" Ayesha was quite surprised. She hadn't expected Harry to retire after only a few years as the Sorcerer Supreme. However, she quickly pondered what kind of person the next Sorcerer Supreme would be, that Harry would hand over the position to him.
So Ayesha asked, "I wonder what kind of person the next Sorcerer Supreme will be, that you have such high hopes for him?"

"Yes, he is an outstanding young man with considerable magical talent."

Ayesha's pupils suddenly contracted. If Harry recognized her as a wizard with outstanding talent, her future achievements would surely be extraordinary!
Perhaps in a few years, Kamar-Taj will have another Godfather-level powerhouse!

After chatting idly with Harry for a long time, Ayesha had her servants bring Harry a throne that was no less magnificent than her own before returning to her own throne and turning her attention to the long-forgotten Guardians of the Galaxy.

Facing the Guardians of the Galaxy and the others, Ayesha regained her usual dignified demeanor and said in a deep voice with a strong sense of authority: "Guardians of the Galaxy, thank you for saving us from danger. We cannot allow the lives of the people of Sovereign to be threatened."

After all, they are the product of meticulous design; everything about them is perfect, both physically and mentally.

We control the genetic material of artificial cocoons, and within these cocoons, we cultivate new citizens of Sovereignty.

At this moment, Star-Lord raised an eyebrow and said ambiguously:
"I still prefer the old way of having children; it's fun enough and relaxing."

To Star-Lord's surprise, Ayesha actually replied to him:

“That’s right, I’m also very interested in the old method.”

Just as Star-Lord was anticipating Ayesha's next words, he saw her turn her gaze to Harry, her expression solemn, but her tone extremely ambiguous as she said:
“Mr. Potter, perhaps you could give me a history lesson, using the old methods of our ancestors, for an academic exchange.”

“Uh…” Harry didn’t expect Ayesha to be so bold, considering that her people were all down below!
Upon hearing that their High Priest had designs on Harry, the Sovereigns did not frown; instead, their eyes lit up.

Because of their perfect genes, they instantly understood just how much benefit a close relationship between Ayesha and Harry would bring to the Sovereigns.

So all the Sovereigns looked at Harry with anticipation, hoping he would accept Ayesha's invitation.

However, Harry was destined to disappoint them. With Gwen and Wanda by his side, he had no intention of getting involved with any more girls in this world.

But he couldn't refuse outright; he had to save face for Ayesha. So he could only give a vague answer:
"Oh, it's an honor. There will be opportunities in the future, um, in the name of research."

Harry was just being polite, but Ayesha and the other Sovereigns got excited and clearly took it seriously.

Or rather, although they guessed that Harry was just being polite, they wouldn't give up as long as there was even the slightest possibility.

After all, this is the best shortcut for the Sovereigns to step into the ranks of powerful forces in the multiverse!
After a brief chat, Gamora stepped forward and asked:

“High Priest, you promised that this mission would be paid, and we would happily set off after receiving our reward.”

With Harry around, the High Priest had no intention of making things difficult for the Guardians of the Galaxy and the others. He gently tapped the ground with his index finger, and soon two Sovereigns brought over a blue-skinned robot.

When the robot appeared, the atmosphere suddenly turned cold for some reason. Gamora and the robot stared at each other, their eyes filled with murderous intent.

Star-Lord explained to Harry in a low voice:

“Harry, she’s Gamora’s sister Nebula, and their relationship is—not so good.”

Star-Lord then tried to lighten the mood, waving his hands and saying:
"Yes, the family is reunited!"

However, everyone else clearly ignored him. The High Priest addressed Gamora:

"I know she's your sister, so are you satisfied with this payment?"

Gamora nodded. "I'm satisfied, but to me she's nothing more than a bounty on Xandar. We're not close at all."

The high priest remained noncommittal and slowly stood up. "She was caught by my guards while stealing batteries, so you can deal with her as you see fit."

Gamora didn't answer again, and impatiently led Nebula away from the hall.

Star-Lord, however, was not so bold. He cautiously nodded and said:
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart, High Priestess Ayesha."

Just as Star-Lord was about to leave, Ayesha stopped him. While Star-Lord was worried that Gamora had offended them, he suddenly heard Ayesha smile mysteriously and say:

"What is your bloodline, Mr. Quill?"

Star-Lord didn't understand what Ayesha meant, but he still explained:

"My mother is an Earthling."

"And your father?"

"Anyway, it's not in Missouri, that's all I know."

Ayesha was somewhat puzzled. She was certain that Star-Lord possessed an extraordinary bloodline, a powerful one that could bring entirely new and perfect genes to the Sovereign.

Therefore, if Harry weren't around, Star-Lord might have been the best option for him to talk about ancient fertility traditions.

Ayesha asserted, "I can sense that you have unusual family blood. This mixed-race combination is incredibly irresponsible!"

Ayesha had expected Star-Lord to be puzzled by her words, and that she might later take some tissue from him for research purposes, ostensibly to help him examine his lineage. However, to her surprise, Star-Lord showed no surprise whatsoever, and instead nodded, saying:
“That’s right, Harry also talked to me about my bloodline not long ago.”

“I see.” Ayesha looked enlightened. “With Mr. Potter here, you don’t need our help with your bloodline issue. Thank you for your help, Mr. Potter.”

Ayesha winked at Potter again, exuding an undisguised charm that was completely different from her solemn demeanor when facing Star-Lord.

Upon seeing this, Rocket Raccoon couldn't help but comment:
"Star-Lord told me before he came here that you were all arrogant bastards, but it seems that was all nonsense, since you were quite humble in front of Harry."

One of the Sovereign guards immediately stepped forward, holding a golden blaster, intending to kill this damned raccoon bastard with a single shot.

How dare he insult the great Sovereign tribe!

However, when his gaze swept over Harry beside him, he instinctively pulled back the foot that had taken a step forward.

Let them scold us; the most important thing now is to make a good impression on Mr. Potter!
