Harry doesn't want to be a wizard, he wants to be a superhero

Chapter 345 Umbridge: Mr. Potter, I was wrong, please forgive me!

Hermione suddenly turned to Harry, who was standing beside her, and tried to ask:
"What do you think about this, Harry?"

In fact, this was indeed Voldemort's doing.

Upon discovering that many of his remaining followers in the wizarding world no longer obeyed his orders, Voldemort immediately changed his mind and turned his attention to his men imprisoned in Azkaban.

He believed that his followers in the wizarding world had long forgotten his former prestige and kindness, and were now obsessed with his current power, no longer supporting him.

Only those imprisoned under Azkaban still harbored hatred for the Ministry of Magic, for Dumbledore, and for everything that had once been his enemy.

So he spent a great deal of effort to finally rescue the Death Eaters imprisoned in Azkaban.

But he probably didn't know that even the Death Eaters were secretly controlled by Harry.

However, unlike Malfoy and others, he still maintained his own sense of agency.

Those Death Eaters were subjected to an enhanced version of the Imperius Curse by Harry. Their sanity would not be impaired, but they would become completely loyal to Harry.

Harry is preparing to perform a play where Hogwarts clashes with the Ministry of Magic and prepares to reform the entire wizarding world, but under the leadership of old Malfoy, the Ministry of Magic miraculously defeats Hogwarts.

Voldemort then led his former minions in a powerful return, committing atrocities of burning, killing, looting, and plundering within the Ministry of Magic.

It was at this point that the Ministry of Magic finally remembered the technological power of Muggles.

Later, once again under the leadership of the great old Malfoy, the Ministry of Magic finally defeated Voldemort with firearms such as pistols and rifles.

After that, they will no longer oppose the creations of the Muggle world; instead, they will strongly support their introduction.

That's roughly the script; everything in the script is under Harry's control.

But Harry also knew that his script was good, but any of the basic processes could be drastically changed, such as the ancient wizards hidden in the wizarding world, or the dimensional demons called Death, etc.

But Harry wasn't afraid of challenges; reform had to go through, he vowed.

Harry said calmly, "I have no opinion. If Voldemort comes back, we'll take him down again. After all, his primary target should be the Ministry of Magic. In the years since his downfall, the Ministry of Magic has done a lot of slander against him, don't you think, Professor Umbridge?"

As soon as Harry finished speaking, a soft click came from outside the window, as if someone had stepped on a dry branch in front of the house.

Harry and the other three turned their heads at the same time to look out the window.

In the twilight, a pinkish-purple figure stood beside a thicket of thorns not far from the cabin. Her fluffy curly hair resembled a pile of moldy cotton candy, and her lace-rimmed glasses reflected a cold light in the dim light.

It was Umbridge. She was holding a silver notebook and writing something in it, a fake smile on her lips that made one feel physically uncomfortable.

Upon realizing he had been discovered, Umbridge panicked and tried to escape.

But just as she was about to leave, she found herself unable to move. A powerful force pulled on the back of her neck, dragging her toward Harry and his friends.

Umbridge's body floated up suddenly like a pinkish-purple puppet being lifted by strings. The moment her feet left the ground, she let out a short scream, a sharp and comical sound like a mouse being stepped on.

"What are you doing!" Her voice trembled with shock, and her chubby fingers flailing wildly in the air, trying to grab onto something for support, but only managing to grasp at thin air.

She never expected to be discovered, and now she is terrified, constantly afraid that Harry, the great evil lord, will do something bad to her.

She didn't think Harry was an ordinary little wizard who would only threaten her verbally but wouldn't actually do anything.

In the worst-case scenario, Harry might even cast the Crucifixion Curse on her!
Harry used the Levitation Charm to make Umbridge float in front of him, and sneered:
“Professor Umbridge, eavesdropping is not something to be praised.”

Umbridge tried to pull out her wand, but her wrist was bound by an invisible force and she couldn't lift it.

That face, which always wore a fake smile, was now a deep liver color, like a rotten tomato.

She exclaimed in horror, "There's no rule against me eavesdropping. Are you up to something?

However, you are now openly defying school rules, and I am reporting this to Dumbledore!

No, I'm going to write directly to the Ministry of Magic: You'll be expelled, Potter! You'll definitely be expelled!

Her words suddenly caught in her throat because Harry slightly raised his hand, and the levitation charm propelled her a few meters higher, further away from the ground.

At the same time, Harry twitched his fingers slightly, as if he might break the levitation spell at any moment and make her fall.

Falling from that height without any warning would definitely result in broken bones, and Umbridge immediately dared not utter another sound.

Harry nodded. "That's more like it. Quiet down, let's talk this over. Were you eavesdropping on someone's orders, or was it just your own idea?"

Umbridge stammered, seemingly unwilling to speak.

Harry frowned, waved his fingers, and Umbridge spun rapidly through the air. A minute later, Harry stopped, and Umbridge vomited onto the grass below. Seeing Harry about to attack again, she quickly said:
“I’ll tell you, I’ll tell you my own thoughts. I think you two must have some unspeakable secrets for coming to the Forbidden Forest alone, so I wanted to follow you to see what was going on.”

I was wrong, I was really wrong. I'll leave right now and won't bother you anymore.

Harry didn't respond, but simply tossed Umbridge into the Forbidden Forest. Just as she was about to land, a portal opened beneath her feet, followed by another portal opening a meter above her.

The two portals were connected, allowing Umbridge to experience the treatment Loki received.

Umbridge received an upgraded version of Loki's treatment; Harry planned to let her roam freely for an hour before letting her go.

………………

A month passed in the blink of an eye. During this month, Harry and the others completed the OWL exam and all passed.

In addition, some officials of the Ministry of Magic have been disappearing one after another, and coupled with the previous Azkaban prison break, everyone thought that Voldemort was behind it.

To the surprise of some wizards, Voldemort stepped forward and kidnapped a reporter from the Daily Prophet, forcing him to write a report.

In the video, he stares menacingly at the reporter's nape, wand pointed at the back of his neck, his serpentine voice slowly emanating, laced with cold mockery:
"Write!"

His voice was like a poisoned icicle, each word scraping against the air:

“Tell those idiots cowering by the fireplace in the Ministry of Magic that the disappearance of their officials has nothing to do with me!”

Only a small number of wizards believed Voldemort's explanation, thinking he had no reason to lie, but many more believed it was a new plot by Voldemort and that he was indeed behind it.

After all, who else in the world would kidnap a member of the Ministry of Magic besides him?

Wait a minute! Some clever wizards realized something: besides Voldemort, there were indeed people who would kidnap members of the Ministry of Magic for personal gain.

Harry and Dumbledore want to change the wizarding world, which clashes with the Ministry of Magic. Will they kidnap members of the Ministry of Magic in order to carry out their reforms?

Even more coincidentally, most of the kidnapped Ministry of Magic members were members of pure-blood families who opposed the introduction of technological creations into the wizarding world.

The wizards felt a chill run down their spines upon thinking about this. They were intelligent people, and no profit motivated them to release this information, so this speculation did not cause any ripples in the wizarding world.

Besides the news of the disappearance of Ministry of Magic officials, another piece of news has attracted much attention in the wizarding world.

The relationship between the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts is becoming increasingly strained, with Draco Malfoy recently even declaring that he would completely defeat Hogwarts.

They wanted to bring Hogwarts under the complete control of the Ministry of Magic, instead of letting Hogwarts run rampant.

Initially, some wizards thought the conflict between Hogwarts and the Ministry of Magic would take several more months, but to their surprise, the Aurors of the Ministry of Wizardry suddenly swarmed out and headed towards Hogwarts.

This news also reached the ears of many young wizards at Hogwarts, who were all very worried about it.

They were worried about whether Dumbledore could defeat the Ministry of Magic.

If not, does that mean all their efforts these past few days have been in vain?

That day, Neville rushed anxiously into the Great Hall and said to Harry, who was having a meal:

"Harry, stop eating! Something terrible has happened!"

Neville's fists were clenched tightly at his sides, his knuckles white, and his usually timid eyes shone with a frightening light.

His chest heaved with rapid breathing, his voice trembled slightly and was tense, yet every word was enunciated with exceptional clarity:

"The Ministry of Magic has attacked. They want to capture Headmaster Dumbledore and you, and take complete control of Hogwarts."

"Harry, they can't do that, absolutely not!"

Harry was surprised by Neville's excitement. This usually timid little wizard was now so brave, braver than most little wizards.

Harry patted Neville on the shoulder and comforted him:

"Don't worry, Neville, the Ministry of Magic won't succeed. There's no way Headmaster Dumbledore and I will be caught by them. Let's go take a look!"

The morning mist had just dissipated, and the playground in front of Hogwarts Castle seemed to be frozen in place.

More than a hundred figures in silver-green uniforms stood in neat square formation on the lawn. The Aurors' wands pointed diagonally at the ground, their tips gleaming coldly. Their boot heels pressed down on the damp grass, leaving a neat, dark imprint.

They were aggressive and could strike at any moment.

Opposite them were the Hogwarts professors and upperclassmen.

Their ranks were lined up in a single line, like a loose yet stubborn dam.

Professor McGonagall stood at the front, her gaze beneath her pointed hat sharper than the wand in her hand, her black robes fluttering in the morning breeze, as if she might transform into a night owl pouncing on the enemy lines at any moment.

Professor Flitwick stood on tiptoe beside her, his usually gentle round face now as taut as a stone slab; this dueling master was ready for battle.

The Ministry of Magic, having no other choice, does not want to directly clash with Hogwarts. To put it bluntly, the power contained within this school is comparable to that of the Ministry of Magic.

Dumbledore and Harry Potter alone are formidable enough, not to mention the other powerful professors.

Lucius Malfoy slowly stepped out from the side and rear of the Auror phalanx, his gaze sweeping over the professors opposite him, a habitual, disdainful smile playing on his lips:
“Dear professors, we all understand the significance of standing here.”

The Aurors from the Ministry of Magic were not there to oppose Hogwarts, but to stop a rebellion that was about to engulf the entire wizarding world.

Minerva, we've known each other for years, you should understand Dumbledore's ambition. He's been entrenched in this school for decades, raising his own army and allowing Harry Potter to practice dark magic in the Forbidden Forest. Is this something a headmaster should do?
What Dumbledore poured into Harry Potter was never education, but a weapon to overthrow the Ministry of Magic; he was nurturing the third Dark Lord!
Hand them over, and Hogwarts will return to peace. You will remain respected professors, and the students will not have to shed blood for the rebels' ambitions.

I guarantee, with the honor of the Malfoy family and the Minister of Magic, that the Ministry of Magic will forgive and forget if Dumbledore and Harry Potter are handed over.

After all, we all want to maintain peace, don't we?

Professor McGonagall responded coldly, "Lucius Malfoy, every word you utter tarnishes the honor of Hogwarts."

While Headmaster Dumbledore was protecting this school, you were still in Diagon Alley using money to bribe your way out of the Ministry of Magic's responsibility for your past as a Death Eater.

While Harry Potter battles Voldemort's minions in the Forbidden Forest, you're hiding in your basement, fearing Voldemort's wrath.

Don't think that just because you've become Minister of Magic you can slander them at will; they are definitely not that kind of people.

You're saying he's accumulating strength?

That's right, but that's a force against darkness, not an ambition to overthrow the Ministry of Magic!

You want us to hand over the principal and students? Fine, first ask the magic wands in our hands if they agree!

At this moment, the younger wizards who were watching nearby started to clamor:
"Harry Potter is here! Harry Potter is here!"

"Make way, let Harry Potter in!"

Upon Harry's arrival, Professor McGonagall, somewhat nervous, patted Harry on the shoulder and reassured him:

"Don't worry, child, Hogwarts is your home. We're here. We old folks aren't so old that we can't protect our students."

Whatever happens later, remember—you are not alone in facing this.

Harry felt a lump in his throat. The coolness of Professor McGonagall's fingertips lingered on his shoulder, but that warmth felt like a spark falling into a haystack, burning intensely in his heart.

He opened his mouth, wanting to say "thank you," but found the sound stuck in his throat, leaving only a tight, sour feeling.

Guilt gripped him like vines, making his chest feel tight.

He watched as Professor McGonagall straightened her back again. This professor, who always had a stern face and was meticulous, was now standing in front of more than a hundred Ministry of Magic members, shielding him with her not-so-broad shoulders.

And all of this should not have been her responsibility.

Harry thought he should probably tell Professor McGonagall and the others about the script sooner, but apart from Headmaster Dumbledore, no one else would likely agree to his plan. (End of Chapter)
