Chapter 363 Golden Forbidden Spell
"Father, there's only one way now, and it just so happens to be feasible." Mu Zha had an idea.

"Oh? Tell me."

The exquisite pagoda in Li Jing's hand was taken by Li Zhenying and played with.

"The Three Realms are about to be in great chaos. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will not be present in the world. The demons that have been subdued will surely do evil in the human world. Father, you can apply to the Jade Emperor to stay in the human world to subdue demons, or let Nezha stay in the human world."

“In this way, the two of you will be separated by a great distance, one in the sky and the other on the ground, so there’s nothing to worry about,” Muzha said.

"Is Guanyin Bodhisattva alright here?" Li Jing didn't consider the feasibility of Muzha's suggestion first, but instead worried about Muzha and Jinzha.

"With Brother Jinzha here, I have nothing to worry about."

“The Bodhisattva has considered all of this.”

"Before the Buddha entered Nirvana, he first sent the Black Bear Spirit to the former Liuyun Temple of the Bodhisattva. Later, the Buddha sent my brother to Mount Putuo. My senior sister, Sudhana, also had the Bodhisattva's jade bottle. Sudhana and Red Boy only told us that they wanted to go home to see their mother," Muzha replied.

The Black Bear Spirit and Red Boy each possessed a golden headband and a restrictive headband, respectively. Guanyin Bodhisattva gave her jade bottle to the Dragon Girl, and the restrictive headband spell was passed on to Muzha. In turn, Jinzha received the golden headband spell from the Buddha.

If the Black Bear Spirit and Red Boy cause trouble at the same time, Mu Zha, with only one mouth, cannot recite two spells simultaneously. With Jin Zha's addition, there is no need to worry about the Black Bear Spirit and Red Boy. They can also be used as helpers to restrain the Golden-haired Roar Sai Tai Sui and the Golden Carp Linggan King.

"Father, please tell Mother that we cannot visit her for the next few years. Please forgive us," Jinzha said.

“This is a serious matter; your mother will understand.”

"I will go back to Heaven and apply to the Jade Emperor."

……

……

"Please stop crying, okay? Your crying is getting on my nerves," the man said to the peacock by the roadside.

"You're partly to blame! It's all your fault for keeping me here, which allowed Ksitigarbha to catch up with me."

"Are you out of your mind? Why are you arguing with me?"

“When I saw you fly out of Mount Ling and swallow me whole, I knew you were the Buddha Mother Peacock King Bodhisattva, who once swallowed the Tathagata Buddha in the same way.”

"I made you cough so I would cough myself out, and I'm keeping you here because I don't want you to go somewhere else to eat people," the roadside man said.

"Mind your own business..."

"How could I have been meddling in other people's business? It's karma that you tried to eat me," the peacock said by the roadside.

"Do you really have to eat people? What's so good about eating people?" someone on the roadside asked, puzzled.

"Let me explain," said Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

"This is related to the lifespan enjoyed by mortals."

"Most people live to be seventy or eighty years old, some die young in their fifties or sixties, and some live to be a hundred."

“A demon like the peacock can steal the remaining lifespan of a person by eating them. The more people she eats, the longer she can live. This is also a way to achieve immortality,” said Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva calmly.

"Monsters especially like to eat young boys and girls because children have the longest remaining lifespan, even longer than adults."

"Actually, eating other living beings is also possible, but it doesn't increase your lifespan as much or as quickly as eating one person."

Pingping, this fox spirit, hasn't reached the level of the peacock yet. Eating people won't extend her lifespan. However, the senior demons in the demon world all like to eat people, and their little demons have followed suit.

Upon hearing the truth from Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, everyone present gaped, their faces filled with shock.

“I have never eaten a person!” Pingping waved her hand at Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

“I know, your breath is pure air, that’s proof.” “Bodhisattva, then why is the peacock’s breath also pure air?” asked the roadside.

"Because the peacock has stopped eating people since it was named the Buddha Mother Great Bright King Bodhisattva. It has been practicing the precepts on Mount Ling, living a simple and austere life, until now. Just now, it was about to eat you, but you were not eaten by it, so the breath it exhales is still pure air," Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva explained.

It's easy to distinguish between fresh and turbid air. I've encountered monsters on the roadside before that exhale turbid air from their mouths and noses, which is similar to bad breath.

"Mortal, come closer, I will pass on the Tightening Spell to you, and you will restrain the peacock," Ksitigarbha said to the monk.

"No, you can't."

The monk repeatedly refused.

"You used the golden headband to restrain the peacock, but you also restrained me."

"I am a monk, how can I stay by a woman's side every day?"

The monk's reason for refusing was quite reasonable, so Ksitigarbha looked towards the roadside, and the monk also looked towards the roadside.

“Master Lu, you put the headband on the peacock, so you should take full responsibility for it. Let my bodhisattva form transmit the headband mantra to you, and you can take care of her.”

Lu Bian was somewhat troubled, but he couldn't refuse. The sense of social responsibility cultivated by nine years of compulsory education drove him to the side of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, where Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva taught him the Tightening Spell.

The peacock's gaze toward the roadside became even more hostile.

Relying on the perfect memory of the magnetic field, Lu Bian memorized the entire headband spell.

"Try reciting it." Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva wanted to ensure that reciting the Tightening-Headband Mantra by the roadside would have an effect on the peacock.

"Don't blame me, don't blame me, I'll make it up to you," the roadside man said apologetically to the peacock.

The peacock looked aggrieved.

The incantation began to be chanted by the roadside, and the tight band around the peacock's neck tightened, turning the peacock's entire face red.

Seeing that the spell was working, they immediately stopped on the roadside.

"Okay."

"Benefactor Lu, I'll leave the peacock in your care for now. I have other important matters to attend to, so I'll take my leave first." After giving his instructions, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva did not fly into the sky but instead burrowed into the ground, as he was returning to the Netherworld.

Demons began to wreak havoc, and the most direct way to investigate was by looking into the dead. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is the lord of the underworld, and those who died unjustly can appeal to him for justice.

"Finally gone."

Without the Bodhisattvas and Buddhas chanting sutras in front of it, the peacock felt that the air was fresher.

"Come, let's discuss the compensation. Ksitigarbha made it very clear that you have to take good care of me."

The peacock spoke to the roadside, gritting its teeth, as if it wanted to devour the roadside.

"Take your hand away, let's talk properly."

The peacock placed its hand on the shoulder by the roadside and reached towards the collarbone.

The clavicle, also known as the collarbone, is a very delicate transmission structure in the human body. If the collarbone is pierced, a person will not be able to raise their hands.

The peacock was over two meters tall, and this was the first time it had seen a woman of similar height on the roadside.

"I want beautiful clothes, and expensive jewelry. You also have to build me a magnificent palace, no less luxurious than the one I live in on Mount Ling," the peacock told the roadside.

"I've never even been to Mount Ling, how would I know how well you live there?" the roadside said to the peacock in an annoyed tone.
